For those who dont know, there is a camera mod that allows for uncompressed images and higher quality HD video. My question is has anyone tested it on HyperNonSense (latest ICS build)?

Just curious, but why do you recommend that version? I would have thought the other one would be the correct one to use. Are you currently using this mod by chance?
They are both stripped down Sense version. Im not sure, maybe you should wait for a professional advice

That is good to know. Which version of HyperNonSense do you have, and which version of the HQ Sensation Camera mod did you flash?
This is the correct one:
For InsertCoin, ARHD, & others ROM Use: HQ-CameraV1.2.zip
Tested, working on hypernonsense 1.5

i'm new to the android scene and aren't very experienced.
I own a rooted htc desire s and want to use a custom sense rom.
Which one do you would recommend for a normal use of the phone? (RCMix3d Runny S, VoidU S or Virtuous Unity?)

VoidU S. I used this ROM for over a week. BEST SENSE ROM EVER.
VoidU is definately fastest! Especially when combined with UnityV9 kernel, overclocked.
Been using it for a while now (changing roms regularly to check what's up).
Thank you very much So i go with the VoidU Rom.
And that Kernel combination? Do I have to instal the Rom first and then install the kernel from the zip? Or at first the kernel and then the Rom?
But VoidU has problems with Whatsapp FC no? so for those of us who use it everyday, which rom you suggest?
VoidU has a solution in the thread somewhere. I'll always reccomend this ROM. imIt's just too good.

best way is to first flash the rom, boot it up and set it up, wait a bit till its fully loaded, and then reboot into recovery and flash the kernel (if u need it, default kernel works fine as hell too )

I'm using the Saga LBC Mod and it's pretty quick. I've not ever had trouble with speed though, so it's not that big an issue for me. On my old Hero, however...

Tried VoidU and noticed that its much faster for me then Virtuous Unity.
Got 2608 points in quadrant benchmark with the VoidU S ROM and the Unity v9 kernel

I've tried all the ROMs by Proxuser, and in my opinion the best is currently the Runny v1.4.
Been using it regularly for a couple of days and have found it to be very smooth, stable, sense 3.5 is a dream come true, the RCMIX3D tweaks are done just right and the battery life is superb.
Would definitely recommend this one. VoidU is a good alternative too.

i havn't tested it but i made it to work with both! if some1 could confirm it is working with old hboot too i would appreciate it!
I have XTC-clip S-OFFed phone with latest HBOOT and the ROM boots just fine.

It is the official latest HTC release for Desire S, so it's Sense 3.0

Look at the index thread, there is a thread with all the previous pre-rooted stock roms. Everything with version under 2.*.*.* is Sense 2.1
Any need to wipe if coming from HTC_Europe_2.10.401.8?

i used both of them.im sure viper 1.2.1 rom camera have the best quality because its uses sense 4.1 camera
be sure viper rom is the best rom for all of htc phones
I think it's similar. You shouldn't see large different. I use vipers.

I Found a major diff. between ARHD and Viper's Cam Quality...And i found that ARHD's Image quality is way better than the Viper..
If you zoom the picture to max. you will find viper's image quality get distorted and ARHD still have a good result...Even in night images, ARHD performs well than Viper...

Any suggestions?
Can it be that this is a firmware problem? I have the 3.33 wit HBOOT version 1.27.1100
does anybody have newer one to suggest or i'm good with this one?

Camera quality is only good on a sense 3.6 rom because of camera drivers. Devs have not been able to make camera drivers for anything other than that well we should just be happy its working
