Try multitouch. For me it doesn't work. Tried with OpenSensation compiled 25.03.

Edit.
Dang wifi not work ?.

which version are you using? If you use opensensation then try the newest version after 23.03. But can someone try multitouch?

Wifi works with latest build weeeeeeee.

you are a nice man, share lots of your work, five stars up!

What have you guys done? I've tried everything but multitouch doesn't work for me.

Flashed this on aokp and it it breaks wifi
Sent from my HTC Pyramid using XDA

it doesnt work on aokp because it uses the bcmhd module for wifi not bcm4329 or whatever it is. it works with opensensation. it shouldnt be hard to fix. fork my repo and just revert the commits related to bcmhd.
this is the same reason it doesnt work on older opensensation builds
the multitouch i dont know why you would be having a issue its the way faux123 did it i didnt touch it

building update with folling changes:
added AOSP USB Gadget
moved kgsl back
OMX fix for camcorder to work
will be in OP as soon as i finish editing it

So what's the difference with this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1258816&page=145
Not sure to understand

I tried the last OpenSensation (25.03) with the second release of this kernel but I still have f*** multitouch problems. I wiped all partitions(except sd) and installed OpenSensation and the kernel. then I went to settings and enabled the overlay of touchscreen and if I release one finger all fingers are release. Also if I press with 4 fingers all fingers are released... What's my fault?

They are the same thing faux merged my changes

(Crackflashers)(ROM) (wip) Compiled from cm7 source

I have been compiling the cm7 source and sharing. Gapps and rom boots and work. It is more basic gingerbread aosp then cm7. Cyanogen and teamdouche have been working to get this together and this is more kinda like a nightly
www.crackflashers.com
You will need to flash the new recovery.img to flash/get working gapps.
after flashing gapps, run fix permissions to get gapps to work.
This is cause of cm7 going to ext4 based system unlike older roms that are ext3
The new recovery does make it so you can not use older pre gingerbread roms so find a older recovery to fastboot back to anything like froyo or restore old backups

The gapps are posted on on that link also not built in, building in causes bootloops. Don't have any clue when it will be in rom manager, the one uploaded is the recovery.img built with the source

CM7 New GPS Library Patch Test

The maintainer of legend committed a patch attempting to fix the new gps library's bearing/heading issue. Please test it.
Note: librpc enables the new gps library, won't effect the old one. It's included just in case you are using an old rom. If things go wrong, just flash the old gps like you always do.
cm-liberty-loc_api-signed.zip
MD5SUM: 1caf5580e6d19a4c23730e4dab44c57d
EDIT: The patch has been merged into cm repository. This should be in next nightly, or CM7.0.1 if that's the next nightly#54. Thanks for testing it.

Seems ok here. Got a lock although it took a while. Cpu is quite normal. Can't test nav though.
I'll report if it's working after I go out tonight.
-Edit. Working. Nightly 42 and drowningkernel.
I'm running these gps libs on top of N42 and drowingkernel 6-7. I don't know about navigation direction, but sats locked faster that current gps libs but also slower than old gps libs...
EDIT: also no cpu issues
Sent from my CM7 Aria.
I tested navigation and no more driving backwards (or sideways)! Everything is working great with these libs! Now lets get em commited!
EDIT: nightly #42/DrowningKernel-7.
Working for me on nightly 42 with ladios's kernal.

It is working for me as well, also no cpu usage issues like I got with the gps-revert libs. Thanks a million Ladios (and also to the legend maintainer)!
Looking good for me, thanks Ladios
GREAT JOB!!! This patch seems to solve the problem...hopefully they are committed.
It has been committed already and is sure to be in 7.0.1. That has had its changelog committed already too.

chaoz tried including the wifi module you use in the kernel in the system/lib folder? can't find it there on the newest kernel. This messed things up for tristan earlier
Oh crap, forgot to supply the bcr4329.ko indeed.
I'm going to try to get a running 3.0 by tonight, if I don't have it finished this evening, I'll upload the WiFi module from the build (using 2 different OS's to work on, Linux for compiling, and Windows for everything else, and working in Win is much easier for me ;p)
Edit: beginning with the really lame methods of getting 3.0 to run, first attempt is done I think, just copied over files, and modified some of them, nothing really special, starting compiling in 5 minutes.

Chaosz-X first of all, thanks for the work you've done so far. I believe i can port it over to the n1 using the zip you uploaded. Second, please learn git so you can push your changes to github. (i know you said you hate git but, youre developing a kernel; in comparison git is way easier to understand) It will be much easier for other devs to follow your progress, and port your changes to other qsd8k devices badly in need of hwa.

[ROM][KANG][NIGHTLY]CyanogenMod 9 Nightlys[Discountinued]

Hi i got upset with the official cm9 nightlies not really being nightlies because they dont have a build server yet. So i decided in the mean time i would just pump out some nightlies myself untill their build servers are up and running. So these builds are completely unsupported from cm with no modifications by me they are just like the official cm9 nightlies and are updated with the latest source before every build. If anybody has an ftp server and would let me use it for a bit that would be cool.
Code:
Normal Discalimer applies. I am not responsible for any damages occuring to your device because of use of this rom or thermonuclear war and blah blah blah
I will start building around the same time every day 5:00 PM EST
Nightlies:
FTP Server is here thanks Korumera
How to install:
1. If coming from different rom wipe system, data, cache.
2. Install rom in recovery
3. Flash gapps
4. Reboot
5. ?????
6. Profit!

I had a booting AOKP build, but it had problems:
- No screen rotation
- Several GUI bugs
- Slow
- No WiFi or BT (drivers, firmwares were in place)
About the OTA error: you need to modify the script what creates our OTA package, it's in the device tree. You need to add the -no_assert flag to it (functionality-wide), as while CM9 does not use it, AOKP does. And because the device tree was made for CM9, Bumble-Bee, RaYmAn, and the other guys who worked on the device tree did not add this function to this very script.
The exact patch:
https://github.com/hillbillyhacker8...mmit/9ba2af252ec8a70cda9242ca97038e2b3a71c541
Also I'd suggest using hillbillyhacker86's AOKP branch of this device tree. He did some pretty good work there.

If he compiled using the official CM device tree, without MANUALLY checking out the AndroidRoot tree (CM already merged it, and now updates are sent to CyanogenMod/android_device_asus_tf101). There were some updates to it, plus also CM merged some more updates in the main trees, so we get those too.

[KERNEL][AOSP][JB][3.4]UNOFFICIAL KT747

*** Latest Build 10-11-2013 ***
For d2vzw! Note the forum you're in!
If you're as big of a fan as I am of KToonsez's KT747 kernel then you'll be happy to know there is now an updated version.
This is a forked version of KToonsez's KT747 kernel with commits pulled from the CM10.2 branch of the d2 kernel.
Disclaimer: Standard disclaimer goes here. I nor KToonsez are responsible for the actions you take when working with your phone. I've done a significant amount of testing and so have others but situations arise where a hiccup could cause data loss, IMEI loss, or phone failure. You, the flasher, assume these risks. Please make sure you backup/nandroid, use nvbackup, etc.
Note:
It has been reported that this kernel will not work with 4.3.1 ROMs, notably the latest nightlies of PAC-MAN. If you're on a 4.3.1 ROM flash with extra caution. If you find otherwise please alert me.
Branch "currentCherry" (my cherry picking branch) CI status:
Branch "mr2" (KT's 4.3 branch) CI status:
Instructions:
There seems to be an odd permissions issue that we've uncovered. Follow these exact steps so when you boot you'll have working cell data:
Reboot Recovery
Clear Caches
Flash your current ROM
Flash kernel
Reboot
Profit!!!
I'm working on clearing this up. I've verified the above process against mastamoon's unofficial CM10.2 10/07 build.

I normally don't overclock my phone doesn't do well with it. I tried 1728 and it wasn't ever using it. Then I bumped it up to 1809 and it instantly rebooted. As expected, my processor just won't do it. After the reboot the phone was still set at 1728 and it was using that frequency. So maybe requires a reboot work?

Rebooting seems to make it stick or show up in the apps where I see freq values.

OP Updated
Went through my cherry pick branch and realized I missed some commits. I missed about 2 days worth of merges at the end of August. These are now all added.
There is a gerrit reviewed commit for touchscreen optimizations (and a subsequent fix for camera issues). I'm having trouble merging this commit into my branch. I'll try to get that into the build for tomorrow.
Thanks!
Mike
Can I ask why there is a unofficial version of KT kernel? Did he drop support for s3?
Followed instructions to the letter and re-attempted 2x and still getting no data when running this kernel. Running liquidsmooth 2.10 final release. Thanks!

He's just been really busy and this guy wanted to put a more recent build out since there have been many commits to cm 10.2

Are we able to flash the kernel separately yet?

Shoot! Ok. Just want to ask a couple of questions to make sure I'm on the same page and I can collect some info to try and figure this out.
10/10 build? Probably a silly question since you posted after I posted the new build, but just checking.
Are you using CWM? If you are what version?
Just to be clear, are you flashing ROM and then the kernel in the same recovery session?
I'm not familiar with liquidsmooth. Is the 2.10 release version 4.3 of Android? I'm assuming it is otherwise you probably would have gotten a bootloop instead of no data.
Thanks for the feedback. It's important that I see these. I've been worried sick that there are people downloading this, having this problem, and immediately thinking that I through out something that is bunk. I want this effort to live up to the expectations that everyone has for KT's kernel. Last thing I want to do is turn people off to his great work!

I was able to flash 10/10 over 10/09 without having to flash the ROM and still have data. I have not gone from sans KT to ROM with KT on the 10/10 build.
I'm going to try to get some input from some devs. I originally thought it was the updater-script applying the wrong permissions during the flash. I did, however, change the script to mimic more how LeanKernel does its flash but that fix was put in 10/09. This along with the touchscreen fixes are my top priorities to get fixed.
See responses below. Thanks!

Yep 10/10 for sure.

Yes. 6.0.4.3

Yes, all in the same session

Eclipse build 6
I flashed the new version 10/10 on my Eclipse build 6 which is 4.3. I cleared cache, flashed rom, flashed kernel, and rebooted. No data at all. I then flashed the rom back over the top to get the other kernel and everything is fine. I am using the newest CWM.

Thanks for the reports guys. Researching this issue is proving difficult as no one seems to have documented it in the "usual" places. The only suggestion I have so far is checking to make sure the permissions are correct on everything that is flashed. I took a look at a couple of other kernel dev's updater-scripts and tried to modify this one accordingly. Flashing from 10/10 to 10/11's still gave me working data. I'm trying to follow up with a few other devs so please don't think that I'm not working on this. If you flash 10/11 please report your findings!
Thanks!
