Hi everyone,
All is in the title, is it possible to mod sytemui.apk without a computer?
I used to do that with ninjamorph but it doesn't work anymore with the new 3.32.402.105 base.

as far as i've heard, they dont work except on a legend rom.

how can i change the icons?
or witch app can i use 4 it?

hi
you first should use another thread tite...
then do a "bigger" search.
if you want new icons on HomeScreen, follow ideas above.
if you want to morph, search the forum for "metamorph" and how it works.
it is really simple.
Only reason I'm posting is to FLAME THE NEWB.

"How to?" isn't good enough.

I saw those but i don't believe those were the ones included with the rom? One of the ones I'm talking about is on android police's review of the cm6 mod

and short answer, not really, after a full reboot, the change is lost...
best way to find out? try it! im not a fan of it, so im not even going to bother, but if you root, keep it and copy the files to system, it should work in theory...
but im pretty sure that you have to reboot for the settings to stick :/

And to the OP I don't know but like the above poster said try to copy the files you need to /SYSTEM and then use the FastReboot app, to trick your phone into believing that you have rebooted it and hoefully the changes will stick.

It should be in services.odex, I decompiled it using backsmali but I dont know what to edit. Any help?
I found that it should be in PowerManagerService.smali
there is an app in the market called something screen off and lock ..which has 2 different crt/tv off animations

Hey won't changing the settings maybe cause a bootloop and then since we don't got custom recovery we are ****ed up???

i've read in a other thread how to enaple the crt effect for an android 2.3.4 device easily (just change one line of code in the /system/build.prob file). but sadly... this line of code don't exists on my device (android 2.3.3)
