We used to have a miui music player that we included with our roms...but not sure how they made it work.

i wish i could get ahold of that, the miui player is the only one with good ui that plays wma's that i know of.. and alot of my music is in wma format
There is always VLC Player for Android. Although it is not quite a finished product. It might be worth a shot.

I always have this on my external SD if i need it at some point. The only thing I don't like is that it's not as full featured as the newest miui music player. Closest thing i can think of right now to it. Hopefully, there is a port possible in the future and it will be full featured.

Paste into /system/app with root explorer and change permissions to rw-r--r-- and then reboot your phone. I just did it on Zeus.

I has an issue wiff teh MIUI Muziks. Whenever I done flashed teh MIUI, it only reads like half my music, i have 2,139 songs, but it only shows 1,032 songs -.- How do I done fixxity fix this?

Take the Camera.apk out of the .zip.
Then run:
adb remount
adb push Camera.apk /system/app/

everything worked fine and its running really smooth but during the first boot i didnt get the normal android set up with your gmail sync and ect is this abnormal or does it not matter
Edit: my phone just started vibrating and wouldnt stop so i pulled battery everything seems fine now

Should be able to - it's compatible with Infused v2 and Hellraiser ROMs, and I'm fairly certain that Mikey "pre-integrated" Hellraiser for us to create this ROM.
Worst case if it doesn't work, you can heimdall/odin the kernel from Mikey's zip.

I think ki3 is much smoother and faster. Feels a lot better overall. It does not come with Swype which sucks but can be fixed. market has crashed on me a couple times. There is no ringtone..? And it rings silent. Otherwise seems fine. I'm not one to use GPS or wifi so not sure how they are on this build.
Also noticed that the puzzle piece screen lock doesn't work add it should. I noticed that on the recent miui build also. Must be a ki1/3 thing?

can you get me a link to that rom. make sure new bootani is named correctly,permissions are correct(rw-r-r) and that its is in the correct location.
you can use root explorer or es file explore and goto system/customize/CID/and look at the default.xml and look for boot configuration(near the bottom) and look at what its calling the bootanimation and location or link me to rom

Nothing same exact files. There's no apps contained within the zips only the required libs and binary related files from whichever phone the Original Poster from that thread extracted them from.

On the original thread the OP is running a CM9 alpha on his phone with it installed, if that's of any consolation. I don't think it'll break anything. But I can be wrong.

I installed through CWM on CM9. My sound sounds great here at work on work headphones but not sure if its just a placebo effect. I played a Coldplay song through Google Music. That's 320K right?. It sounded pretty awesome but not sure what files I would check since there isn't really an indication that it's on or not

Can confirm it flashed on CM9 without any problems. Didn't test a before and after, but sounds great with Voodoo Sound Plus on stock kernel.
I'm diggin it on CM9, maybe placebo, but I thought our audio couldn't get any better... On a side note, DSP equalizer doesn't seem to work... not sure if that is in general or with this installed though...

Unzip the file then copy it out of system/app.
Ya, like Hechoen said, unzip the /data/app/semcmusic.apk and copy it to /system/app of other roms...
BTW, Ringer doesn't work yet so, don't ask me on this more, I'll take a look on it at the weekend

Why did you base RemICS on CM9 and not on Erikmm's Nexus S ROM?
Erik's ROM should be pure Sammy ROM and S-voice must work there much better with all Sammy stuff.
