am i right in thinking this is an ultra lightweight ROM? it certainly seems to be, based off your feature list.
i'm wondering if this could be a replacement for the Oxygen series...

Download now will give it a try

Well first thanks for considering the rom and I would recommend a full wipe but u might be ok to just wipe cache and flash also try the alpha kernel I have tweaked 3d and quadrant is showing a good boost on my desire the kernel is stable but compcach is not working yet and if u flash a kernel be sure to wipe your battery status and also if you could send me a private message and tell me what u would like to see done with the camera I would appreciate it

weeei, new dev and new rom... welcome and thank you for sharing,
as a flash maniac...downloading and i will install asap.
my only question: does mp4 HD videos are working? i will flash it anyway... but just curios
---------- Post added at 11:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:44 AM ----------
does this work on 4ext recovery?
it looks like it doesn't finish installing...
EDIT:
ok, i found the problem is here: "-Answer when promted". it's not made it for 4ext (doesn't contain 4ext syntax)...hmm... i recover my bk...until an update

EDITE 2:
links with removed applications say that invalid file or deleted, can you plz update it?

ERRORS in yes no binary is do to hack so just ignore these, apps2sd will appear to install apps internally if you look in file manager but they are actually installed to sdext they are just simlinked to avoid problems with Google play, I have fixed 4ext recovery install and tested it with the latest 4ext touch recovery workin but freezes if not upto date, all links fixed.

I think this needs a few explanations:
Why again a ROM based on old sense? In my opinion its still the fastest option for our hardware.
There are a few ROM's based on official HTC Gingerbread, why build one more? I want to have a stable and fast ROM with the most app-space possible. Cause of this, i build a full odexed ROM. To gain maximum space, there is a oxygen r2 HBOOT version. I could not find a ROM like this...
Why AN-Droid? Its simple, Anderl's Android = AN-Droid
ODEXED and Oxygen R2? A example: I installed around 100 userapps (including 7 big games) and still have 190 mb internal free...
I use the data++ build with Oxygen R2 hboot - This is my daily ROM!
Believe me, this ROM is highly optimized and really fast!

Descriptions:
+[stock/data++] odexed for max speed and space usage
- dalvik-cache will be smaller, you will be able to install a lot apps
- boot will be faster
- don't flash a theme!
+[stock/data++] bootanimation and bootsound on system/customize/resource
- change/delete if needed before flash in the ROM.zip (use 7zip)
- think about this if you use the UOT-kichen
+[stock/data++] Battery usage
- lets say, it's o.k.
- I use my phone and dont just carry it around - the battery is enough for me
- improved with newer kernel and a few tweakes
- see battery saving tips in post 2 too
- see it yourself
+[stock/data++] HTC "Stock" kernel
- stable and fast enough atm.
- perhaps i change it later to make more tweaks possible.
- since build 1.1.0 changed. See changelog. If you want the "Stock" kernel, see the end of this post
+[stock] stock hboot spezial
- system-size is ~240MB. Compatible with stock-HBOOT (no need to change if you are S-on - if not, see http://alpharev.nl)
- all ROM-data is saved on NAND
- app2sd+ is build-in, app-data and dalvik-cache is on SD-EXT
- dalvik-cache could be moved to NAND if needed too -more speed (flashable file see post2)
- after fresh flash ~144 MB internal memory free
- 03.11.2012, little problem with pvt4 devices is possible. Caused by different blocksize, pvt4 devices have a little lower /system size. If you are unable to do a successful flash with a pvt4 device and stock edition of this Rom, do this: open the Rom.zip with 7zip on your pc (dont extract!) and delete /system/app/maps.apk. flash this modded Rom.zip - will change this in next build.
+[data++] data++ spezial
- system-size is ~92MB. Compatable with Oxygen R2, CM7 r2, Bravo N1 Table, Bravo Data++ & Bravo Sense Hboot's
- 332 MB Space in data with oxygen r2 hboot for apps and dalvik-cache
- app2sd+ is build-in too
- dalvik-cache could be moved to sd-ext if needed too -even more apps (flashable file see post2)
- after fresh flash ~300 MB internal memory free
- radio's could not be flashed with recovery if you are on a hboot with only 5MB (like oxygen r2)
- use the fastboot command 'fastboot flash radio radio.img' in fastboot mode (see http://alpharev.nl)
+[data++] some parts of the rom are saved on SD-ext
- system/framework --> sd-ext/framework_s
- system/app --> sd-ext/app_s
- system/media --> sd-ext/media_s
- think about this if you use the UOT-kichen

- If you got a bad battery life after flash, try to calibrate your battery. The easiest way is to use a app called 'battery calibration' from the market or to wipe battery stats in recovery. See here for more information about battery calibration - thanks to clouds5
- no-wipe-flash is usually possible if you are on my ROM - to be on the safe side, do a Nandroid / Titanium Backup!
- If you get problems with a flash, try to mount sd-ext in recovery before flash

ROM-Download
As you can see, i provide the ROM's on Minus(.com) for download now. Minus is free, provides unlimited downloads and at start 10GB free space. Its even an Android-app available for it!
To gain more space, please follow this link http://min.us/rMSmvlJ to sign in to Minus! Thank you! (For everybody that joins Minus, both get 1 GB of extra space!) - thanks beartiger!
I have seen, that the direct download link isn't working well on stock android browser. But the link is definitely working well, please try to download from desktop pc or use the minus app for download with the phone.

# Add-Ons / Mods and Informations
*** For flashable files: Use only the version for your build, flash in recovery, disable signature verification if needed, nandroid is recommended, If you get problems with a flash, try to mount sd-ext in recovery before flash. Don't flash a theme or things from other ROM's. This ROM is odexed and its possible that it will not work or end in a unusable installation (new flash needed).***
QuickSettings/RecentApps vs Widgetsoid:
If you want to have QuickSettings/RecentApps like in new Sense? See this post for informations and download of this MOD.
But: Perhaps you want to try Widgetsoid!? Look here!
Remove %-battery, autobrightness-mod and green overscroll glowing (like stock ROM - CRT Animation is still there, see the next position if needed)
1.x.x ROM's:
- data++ Build: Download An-Droid_StockBaterie_no-glow_data.zip
- stock Build: Download An-Droid_StockBaterie_no-glow_stock_V3.zip (first MOD not working - thanks to Haxxler)2.x.x ROM's:
- data++ Build: Download An-Droid_2_StockBaterie_no-glow_data.zip
- stock Build: Download An-Droid_2_StockBaterie_no-glow_stock.zipUse only the version for your build, flash in recovery, disable signature verification if needed, nandroid is recommendedIf you get problems with a flash, try to mount sd-ext in recovery before flash
Disable CRT animation
Use the spare parts app. Set the Windows and Trasition animation speed to fast, that's all...
If you want a flashable solution, (with and without stock battery and green overscroll) see here
dalvik2nand & dalvik2ext
in data++ build dalvik-cache is on nand
in stock build dalvik-cache is on sd-ext
What you get:
- With the provided patches you are able to switch this like you want.
- Dalvik-cache on nand gives you a bit faster ROM, but costs you space in /data. In the data++ build this is usually ok, in the stock build the available space in /data is not big... After a fresh flash dalvik-cache needs around 33MB
- I recommend to use dalvik on nand only with the data++ build. Its possible to use with stock build, but the /space in data will be low.
If you use dalvik2ext with the data++ build, you will be able to install a lot more apps, but the ROM could be a little slower.
- dalvik2ext: Download An-Droid_dalvik2ext
- dalvik2nand: Download An-Droid_dalvik2nand
nandroid is recommended, flash in recovery, disable signature verification if needed, stock and data++ build is supported
What is on your SD-ext? See here
Edit: If you update your ROM, the dalvik-cache will be on the "old" position. I recommend to flash the dalvik2nand / dalvik2ext patch again (without a reboot) after you flashed the update! If you don't do this, a bootloop is the possible reason (caused by too low memory to build the dalvik-cache!)
Black HTC Clock-Widget Like the stock Weather Clock Widget but in black
1.x.x ROM's:
- data++ Build: Download An-Droid_Black_HtcClockWidget_data.zip
- stock Build: Download An-Droid_Black_HtcClockWidget_stock.zip2.x.x ROM's:
- data++ Build: Download An-Droid_2_Black_HtcClockWidget_data.zip
- stock Build: Download An-Droid_2_Black_HtcClockWidget_stock.zipUse only the version for your build, flash in recovery, disable signature verification if needed, nandroid is recommended
If you want to go back to the white clock, see here
Sense 4 HTC Clock-Widget
see here for the download link
Expresso - Mod for 2.x.x ROM's - Thanks to AlexV for allowing me to use this on my ROM!!!
It's working with the black and white clock too, see above for the links!
- data++ Build: An-Droid_2_Expresso_data.zip
- stock Build: An-Droid_2_Expresso_stock.zip
(Semi-)Transparent appdrawer
As the title says, enables Semi-Transparent app-drawer (modded Rosie). See here for download links
Old/New Market & enable/disable MarketAutoUpdate - Neverupdate Market Don't use this with 2.x ROM's
Use the market-version (old/new) you want.
Enable or disable market auto-update.
See here for informations and download
DSP Manager - Equalizer for your phone
You can use the attached DSPManager.apk and install it on your phone. But - changing the equalizer-settings can potentially harm your hardware (i haven't seen something like that, but could be... ) So, use this on your own risk!
Disable Hardware-Key Backlight
Its possible to disable the backlight of the hardware buttons. See this post for more information's and download!
Things left out of the Gingerbread build...
...can be downloaded here (Wallpapers)
and here (Teeter and Torchlight app) - Thanks to beartiger!
Trackpad mod's for 2.x.x ROM's
Trackpad to wake - no unlock:
-data++ Build: Download An-Droid_2_tp2wake_data.zip
-stock Build: Download An-Droid_2_tp2wake_stock.zip
Trackpad to nothing - no wake and no unlock:
-data++ Build: Download An-Droid_2_tp2nothing_data.zip
-stock Build: Download An-Droid_2_tp2nothing_stock.zip
2 way call recording
This is possible since ROM build 1.1.0. You need a app to do this for you. You can use some apps from the market, or the attached rVoix.apk
How to remove bootsound and bootanimation
You can remove only the bootsound or even both if you want. How to do this, is described here
HTC IME mod
A perhaps better keyboard: HTC_IME_hi.apk
Battery saving tips...
- Disable pocket-mode in settings - sound
- Undervolt a bit - but do this carefully! (Incredicontrol)
- underclock the ROM a bit - usually it runs smooth and responsible even with 766 Mhz :-D
- change the CPU governor to smartassV2 (use SetCPU for example)
- disable gps and WiFi if not in use
- check your sync settings and use a lower sync frequency if possible
- use a app called 'Current Widget' from Market to see how much power your phone consumes (mine in standby around 2-4 mA)
- you can use a app called 'Android Assistant' to see in detail how much power a app uses - perhaps you installed a program which consumes a lot power...
Original GPS settings
download and flash An-Droid_orig_gps.zip, if you get GPS problems with 2.0.1 and newer ROM's
(works with data++ and stock edition)
If you like this, please click "Thanks"!

Nice!! Been waiting for an old Sense-ROM with CM7r2 support
Just a quick question, can I flash snq 111118 kernel over the stock one?
And if it works, would it enable EXT4 compatibility?

Yep, exactly that was the idea with this ROM - "Old" Sense, odexed and smaller hboots...
And yes, you can use all GB snq- kernels with this ROM. They are already tested...

great job anderl78, I will try to get this loaded tomorrow and check it out! I do hope to see a few of your other tweaks appear as add ons soon as well, maybe your black clock ;-)
Have you seen this thread and is the idea of any use to you and your new rom, it is a non symlinking data2sd option called int2sd?

Yep, the ext4-support comes with the kernel - but the installation/flash sequence is not "tuned" for ext4... you should be able to flash the ROM on ext4, if you mount sd-ext before the ROM-flash. After the ROM-flash, dont reboot and flash the kernel
I don't see much benefit with ext4 - its even possible, that it harms your sd-card... (more read/write caused by the journaling of ext4)

Hello!
Thanks, you too! i think, a few mods should be possible in the near future... Please report back, how it goes for you
I read a bit into this, but i dont think its really necessary for "old"-Sense-ROM's. In my opinion the ROM is faster, if some parts of /data are on NAND. With my ROM its easily possible to install 300+ apps on out desire - without even dalvik on SD-ext....

yep, you are right. At first i named it "An-Droid_1.0.1_Oxygen_R2.zip", but this name was even more confusing... ;-)
I think, its explained in the OP, i hope people read it carefully.... If its really necessary i always could give it a other name later

FLASH in recovery after WIPING CACHE AND DALVIK
**If you want Overclock, flash it after flashing this, as this re-arranges/cleans up the Init.d folder and scripts**
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extra modules pack v0.1.3 (feat. overclock module) compatible w/ Leak #1 or Leak #2
What is this? : this is to achieve overclock, this is done by using Whirleyes overclock module + governers for the droid razr. I altered it a little bit to work for the atrix 2 as we have 3 set clocks and razr has 4.I then Baked up an Init.d script so it runs on boot instead of the current method of terminal emulator commands, end resault ..noob proof Also this includes some governors for different preferences,to read what each does go HERE and for pegasusq go HERE . included down below are two overclock flashable zips. The first is to overclock to 1125Mhz with GPU overclocked at 398Mhz. The second is for 1200Mhz overclock and GPU overclocked to 398Mhz. I included both because some Atrix 2's can handle 1200mhz (like mine) but for some it will bootloop the phone. so if it does, restore your rom and stick with 1125Mhz.
Included Governors -
boostedASSv2
pegasusq
smartassv2
hotplugx
interactivex
**By Default i have Governer set to Hotplugx. If you want to change the governer, install Antutu Cpu Master Free off of google play. from there you can set on boot whicever governer you prefer. Enjoy! **

1. Download zip
2. Place On SD Card
3. Reboot into Bootmenu
4. Select Install Zip
5. Install

************A note on over clocking For SCV5 Only***************************
For best results this is how ya need to do it. (only if you are using the old method exp typing 1200 into terminal emulator)
-Do not over clock until your phone is fully loaded (feels like setup lag is gone)
-Use motor_hot_plug governor
-Set min and Max to 1000
-Reboot the phone
-Wait till the phone is fully booted (again feels like lag is gone)
-Now open terminal emulater and type "su"
-Now type "1100"
-Run at 1100 for a few mins put some stress on it at 1100
-Now go to terminal emulator and type "su"
-Now type "1200"
****I'm seeing much better results if I "break it in" the over clock as opposed to just jumping in at 1200****
Thanks to Rick#2 for this overclock method.
Original OC thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1341514
************READ ME************
If you are running V4 you will need to delete the file OC3 in system/ect/init.d in order to use this overclock method, the default method in V4 is different then this one but they are both included. Please read the post linked below to learn how to set your own clock speed.
If you want to OC to say 1200 you would open terminal emulator type su, then echo 1200000000 > /proc/opptimizer
Another option is say you know your phone is stable at 1250 you could go to /system/etc/init.d open the file oc3 and change the values to 1250000000 and you would be at 1250 on every boot. DO NOT SET THIS TO A LEVEL YOUR PHONE IS NOT STABLE AT YOU WILL BOOT LOOP.
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/14511-opptimizer-project-omap4-overclocking-kernel-modulesofficial-thread/
Why distribute a rom as a backup?
It's just so much easier to maintain a rom like this, by just using the /system image for the restore we keep things small, simple, and updates can come much faster. We are also eliminating the possibility of a bootloop during flash to a new rom and we don't need a prep rom that causes gps issues! This will also mean the future updates in theory should never require you to format /data. That means we should not have to lose all our setting's in future editions of the supercharged roms!
____
-Beta;
It means the rom is a "WIP" Work In Progress, With enough of the features working to be a daily driver. In this stage the rom is not to be considered as a finished product or 100% stable. Expect bugs, (Report bugs!)

That might be very difficult... Are those the russian versions of the stock system apps and files in that zip package? What does it change? Language packs usually just affect the keyboard and dictionary (LatinIME.apk and a libjni_latinime.so file, i think)... or are you thinking to add a new /res/values-ru/strings.xml to each and every apk?? That's a big order my friend..
Probably the best you can hope for is the US version stock moto/gb keyboard in SCv6 (which is a damn fine keyboard, and supports русский язык - видишь? - it even has the russian dictionary built in).
Out of curiosity, what is your system version (settings> about phone)?
But, I will definitely be looking into that zip myself... Спасибо!

many of apk (strings.xml and some images for dialer and etc) is translated by russian team. All of there in this archive, but it consist stock deodex apks, not SC`s.

Thanks for the update, but the zip you attached has doubles of the /res/ folder for every apk.. someone would have to pick apart every apk and copy the needed files.. it would be very cool to put multiple languages/locales in a custom rom (there are already many roms for other phones with multi-language support), but also a difficult task..
I might still look into it though... Thanks again for the info and the zip!

I'm running v5.2. If I install Ubuntu under webtop as per here by jimbridgman, will that get undone when I update to v6? I assume it will, although the file on the SD won't change, leaving only the parts that update the "internal" android files to be rerun.

Tried flashing this using Ext4 recovery and got an error and later it said its fixed by itself. Then it asked for INT2EXT option I selected yes and the phone froze.
I removed the battery after a minute or two and re-started. It was only booting into fastboot what so ever. I had to force boot into recovery only to flash another ROM
Pls fix.

A2SD: (DO NOT FLASH UNLESS YOU HAVE AN SD-EXT PARTITION)
http://d-h.st/kTT- thanks CRIME INC. and jmztaylor
A2SD INSTRUCTIONS: Thanks drob311 and Halrulez!!!!
1. Get a properly formatted sd-ext partition. (Do not move on until you have done this. This OP is already too crowded, search it if you don't know.) Dread's Modified CWM Recovery is also recommended.
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Wipe dalvik cache
3. Go into Mounts & Formats
4. Cache should already be mounted... make sure. Then mount data and system also. sd-ext should also be mounted already.
5. Flash DarkTremor's a2sd zip (above)
6. Reboot
7. Check to make sure it worked (go into Titanium Backup and if there is an a2sd partition at the bottom it worked)
8. If not, go into terminal
9. Type-> su -> hit enter->hit "allow" when SuperUser prompts you
10. Type-> a2sd reinstall-> hit enter
11. Wait until it reboots. If this doesn't work, start over at step 1 and do it again the right way.
Alternate A2SD Method for older versions(v1-v5): [untested but confirmed working on OG EVO]
1. Install ROM
2. Install A2SD.zip
3. Reboot, go into terminal and type->a2sd reinstall-> reboot into recovery after this is done
3. Install GApps
4. Reboot

> Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue
Most of Graphic Glitches are Gone. Even though some users are experiencing them. Follow the Steps below to avoid these Graphic Glitches.
Use ROM Toolbox or any other build.prop editor to change the below values in the build.prop or add lines in the build.prop.
Make sure your debug.composition.type=gpu
Make sure debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2
If you don't have them add them at the bottom of your build.prop. If you have to change the values or add lines reboot afterward.
> Instagram Problem
After applying the Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue Solution do the Following also.
Enable Developer Options -> Put tick mark to Disable HW overlays. (This gets disable on every reboot. Enable it again) -> Put tick mark to Force GPU rendering. -> Put tick mark to Don't Keep Activities.

Use build.prop editor or ROM Toolbox which has build.prop editor or edit it on your computer before you flash. You could probably change it with terminal but I don't know the command off the top of my head.
I've got an update in the works I just thought this ran well enough with all the tweaks that I should get it out there... I have had the least "hiccups" with the Superbad governor btw
Sweet Rom, does BT work...?

Hello everyone,
with this post i present you my Customized LineageOS 11.0 build (based on Android 4.4.4) for the Samsung Galaxy S Plus (GT-9001).
This Rom is based on the work from the ADC-Team and their CyanogenMod 11.0 ROM. The included Kernel is based on Christopher83's UV K^Kernel.
I made this Rom mostly for myself, because i still use this device as my daily driver.
Please take a look at the feature list to see if you like them or not. Also, please read the installation instructions carefully!
Disclaimer
Your warranty is now void.
We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it!
YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

Installation
If you are installing this Rom for the first time, please do a clean installation:
Download this Rom and the latest TWRP recovery from the ADC-Team with F2FS support (look inside the Download section)
Optional: Download a Gapps package, even tho i strongly suggest not to install them, because of possible performance issues and privacy concerns
Put all of the downloaded files on an external SD card (if you don't have one, you can copy the Rom (and Gapps) on the internal SD card via MTP after the wiping step)
Optional: Backup all of your data
Install the new recovery, then reboot into recovery again
Change the filesystem for the Data AND Cache partition to F2FS (Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select Data -> Repair or Change File System -> Change File System -> F2FS -> Swipe -> Redo steps for Cache)
Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System and Data partition
Install the ROM
Optional: Install Gapps
Reboot the system
If you want to update from the 03.08.2018 build or older to a newer version you have to flash a migration zip first.
Read more about it in the second post.
If you already installed this build, then you can just update it:
Download the new build and copy it to your device
Wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache
Optional: Wipe System (I do this step every time. Its usually not needed and will (hopefully) tell you if it's necessary)
If you are using Gapps you have to install them after the Rom update again
If you are using Adaway, you have to download your Hostfiles after this step again
Install the Rom update
Reboot the system

Signed Builds
Starting with the 10.09.2018 i will start to sign my builds with my own private keys. That includes the Rom itself, but also the APKs inside of it (instead of precompiled apps i include, which is only fennec till now).
This means you (or someone else) can only update the Rom and the system APKs with files that are signed by me. With this noone should be able to install a bad system APK or a bad build on your device.
To update your device from an older build, you have to add those keys to your device first. I made a flashable zip for that purpose. So if you want to update from an build that is older than the 10.09.2018 you have to flash this zip first.
Download migration zip
You only have to do this procedure once. If you do a clean installation you don't even have to it.
But that also means you can't go back to an older build after going to signed builds. (If you really want to for whatever reason, edit the migration zip for that purpose, or ask me how to do it)
To check if one of my builds has the correct signature, simply use:
Code:
keytool -J-Duser.language=en -list -printcert -jarfile zip_name.zip
The resulting fingerprints of my builds (after the 03.08.2018) are listed as follows:
Code:
Certificate fingerprints:
MD5: A2:42:4C:F5:4E:DD:3A:A2:C8:20:3A:AF:A1:D6:B9:99
SHA1: F2:13:38:21:53:55:89:CD:30:96:18:99:DD:7B:6D:81:DF:18:79:5F
SHA256: 94:56:09:A6:38:84:CB:BD:82:A5:A9:30:2F:D7:7C:EC:95:AA:57:FE:88:3B:9B:16:79:61:64:B4:AC:79:53:CC
SU
This Rom comes with su preinstalled. This means you have the ability to use Apps that need root permissions. If you don't want this you can remove su with this flashable zip.
Download addonsu-remove zip
If you want to add su back after removing it, you can do that with this zip.
Download addonsu zip
Simply flash these zips inside your recovery and reboot your device afterwards.
Bugs
There are a few small bugs, that will probably never get fixed (if you know how to fix these write me how to do it )
Bugs that can be fixed with a reboot:
no mobile data connection
SD Card stops working
Other Bugs:
MX Player does not work (and it will also freeze your system)
apparently this applies to RAR and Solid Explorer too
a user reported FC's and slowdowns inside the app "Aliexpress" with the lulzactive governor
Tips and Tricks
To get access to the Performance and Developer options go inside About phone inside Settings and tap 7 times on the Build number.
The default governor is interactive. Personaly i use lulzactive. Switching the governor may give you better performance and/or batterylife. But using interactive should be more stable. You can change the governor in the Performance section inside.
Under Performance Settings you can also overclock the cpu. I would say it is pretty save to overlock the cpu, since i am running my device for 5 years at 1.82 GHz (unless you have a different hardware revision)
If you experience random shutdowns after overclocking, you should lower the maximum cpu speed or raise your cpu voltage.
Using this Rom without Gapps is recommended. If you need some Google services you can use MicroG instead. To use it activate Signature Spoofing under Developer options. Google Maps i use, in combination with MicroG and Mozilla's Unified Nlp Backend. Also i use a rather old Maps version (9.14.0). But if you don't need the newest features und just some Maps, this version performs really good, even on our old device.
If you are using Adaway (also a recommendation) don't forget to add mtalk.google.com to your whitelist.
If you want an open source app store i can recommend F-Droid.
These pages (including the following posts) also contain useful informations about Rom and Kernel:
ADC-Teams CM11 Thread
Christopher83's K^Kernel Thread
Hello everyone again,
i finally created this thread and uploaded my rom. I had this in mind for a long time and i use my own LineageOS version since quite some time (i made my first commit in November 2015 i guess) and now it is in time for the 7th birthday from this device . I tried to make this device more secure, while still providing good performance and battery life.
I hope you like this rom, but again: I made this mostly for myself. And since i am not a power user (which is quite impossible with this device ), there might be some things that are broken that i didn't noticed, or stuff got removed because i didn't needed it. If you notice something of this or you find some bugs or have a question, feel free to post about it and i will take a look at it.
You can see all of my sources in the first post and even my manifest to make the build as reproducible as possible.
You can also take a look at the changelog for more informations (creating this changelog really took some time), at the two screenshots i uploaded and most important at the installation instructions.
I guess i don't have more to say for now, so happy flashing!

HW Keys bug exist because of linaro. Switch to other toolchain or remove O3 flag (change to Os)
I'll use rmt_storage from sources you provided. I've used rmtfs all time, but seems that there's better replacement. Thanks!

You are welcome
And thank you for the infos about the hw buttons, i will definitely test this out!
Update
Hey, here is a small update. It should fix the hw button bug. I also merged some other changes to the kernel, but nothing big.
Changelog:
Kernel
-Kernel compiled with -Os flags instead of -O3
This should fix the hw button bug (thanks to outofmemory13)
-a lot of binder updates
-proper implemention of UID-based routing
-some more things from LineageOS' samsung_jf kernel tree

Update
Hey, here is another small update. This one fixes the brightness bug after booting. I couldn't find the cause of this, but I used my high-class scripting skills *cough* to create a workaround. I think there are no more major bugs left, unless you find one
Changelog:
Kernel
-Compile GPU driver and crypto modules with -O3 again
-Reverted a faulty commit
-Removed F2FS encryption support (not supported for Kernel 3.4)
-Implemented CPU boost (thanks to MarcinDevelopment)
-Small performance optimizations
-Fixed some compiler warnings
Rom
-Deleted one unnecessary vendor blob
-Disabled GPS by default, only relevant for a clean installation
-Updated APN's
-Use low-res bootanimation
-Boot with 1/4 of the maximum brightness
-Implemented the hacky maximum-brightness-after-boot workaround
-Small cleanups
Apps
Fennec
-Updated Fennec (they forgot to build some languages)
If you browser starts to crash after updating, you have to clean Fennec's data. I am sorry if that happens.

You are welcome!
I am excited to hear your feedback.
Sadly I don't think that I will spend my time on another rom for this device, just because I still use this phone as my daily driver and I don't want to experiment to much with it. And my internet connection is also not the fastest, so downloading a whole new source code takes really long for me.
Hi Wangenau, This is to let you know thatI am very happy with this ROM, it is snappy, secured and almost everything is working. It looks like mobile data is not working. Any chance that you look into this?

I am glad you like it!
But it is strange that mobile data is not working for you, for me it is working fine. Sometimes there is a rare case where mobile data randomly(?) stops working. You could try to reboot the device, while making sure that Settings->Mobile network settings->Data enabled is marked, wait a bit and see if the problem persists.
Let me know if this will fix your problem :fingers-crossed:
Edit: Removed second option because it is not a good tip
Solve my phone problem
I hope to solve the problem of a phone when I install the ROM is installed and does not work please respond quickly

Hey, I just saw your post. Sorry if I don't understand, but what is your problem exactly?

If that won't help, you could try to download , move it inside the zip under system/bin/ to replace the existing rild file and flash the zip again (after wiping cache, dalvik cache and system).
Let me know if this will fix your problem :fingers-crossed:

Thanks for your suggestions. So maybe I will need to do a re-flash of the rom. I live in the Netherlands, maybe a different band or so. Will try all suggestions and come back

I really need more informations to help you. Here are some:
Are you able to boot the device or did the flashing process fail? If it failed, is there an error message in the recovery terminal?
Did you followed the installation guide from the first post exactly?
Did you make a clean Installation, installed the needed recovery version und formatted data and cache as f2fs?
Do you have the right device? (this rom only works in the Galaxy S Plus, not on the Galaxy S or others)

That is strange. Have you tried to redownload the build and reinstall it?
And what was your rom before updating?
