I rooted my galaxy s2 a couple months ago. It is now running the blazer ics 4.0 rom. It all works great except i always get an error in the android market saying my device is not compatible. Ive had all the apps before that im trying to download. I also rooted my friends epic touch the same way and his never says this message. I dont know if i changed a setting in the rom somehow or what but i need some help with this error.
Sounds like a dpi issue if not @ 240 then the market plays up do a search of the ROM thread as I'm sure there will be others with the issue.

Alright, all of us over in the Samsung Vibrant section are having market issues today.
It isn't specific to one particular ROM or anything, but I would like to know if anyone else on a different phone is having market downloading issues as well..
yes, I have a Sprint Hero running fresh rom and overclocked kernel, market has not worked for me for 2 days, I was about to reflash thinking that might fix it.

Nexus One w/ Desire ROM, HTC Aria stock, two Vibrants and an Evo are all having problems with the Market today.
Im on Weapons 3.0, i have the music section on the android market but the Tmobile free exclusive content is not showing up... It shows up on my on stock non rooted G2X, is this a Rom issue or the fact that the phone is rooted and being blocked by google?????
Dunno. It shows up on my rooted 2.3.3 (bakag2x), and I don't see any significant differences in the build.prop on Weapon. Could be something else you've done?
What is your reported user agent, huh? Bet it has changed with the flashed Rom.
I flashed Xboarder's stock 2.3.3 rooted Rom and it showed up.. so im guessing its something in the WEAPONS 3.0 Rom b/c there both 2.3.3 Roms
Same here, No tmobile fee music, Im running CM 7 nighlty though. My roomate has a Mytouch 4G rooted with CM7 also, but his shows up.
No dice here either

Go to the desktop site and "buy" the free track of the day. After you accept terms, try again on the market and it should work now.

There has also been a new market version pushed out that's supposed to be specifically for T-Mobile users. It is version 3.3.12 -- maybe it fixes something? I dunno, I had T-Mobile music already on BakaG2X so I think it might be something with the Roms or your install. But it's worth trying the market update.

Getting really hacked off with this now as I've tried both CM9 kang and EOS builds of ICS and both will cause GTA3 to hang after the game initially loads. I then have to manually close it as it just locks up completely.
Anyone found a cure for this cos I need ICS but also NEED to play GTA3......lol

Need? Why is it a matter of life and death? You NEED food and water, you dont Need ICS & GTA 3, rather you would like to have both.
Looks like your SOL as far as having both ICS & GTA 3 and will have to prioritise which is more important, until an update is released.
Im getting a similar issue. The game boots and i can play it for a while, but it always eventually locks up on me. Its the only game that does this for me too. I tried it using several of the Kang ICS builds on my wifi only Xoom.
Tried lowering clock speeds too since i am overclocked.
works fine on the stock build of ICS here
Fudge it, might just roll back to stock and wait for OTA then.....lol

How long have you played the game in one stretch? My game "works fine" for a few minutes too but then freezes. I'm curious how long have you played in one continuous session?
I'm on stock ics longest I've managed is 5 mins of gta. Redownloading the data part as was my old files from honeycomb hoping it works.
Didn't work still freezes.
Just tried gta settings low high mixed nothing helped.

Not really surprising that a lot of the "high end" games are broken with ICS. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure there were enough under the hood changes in the OS from HC to ICS that would break games like GTA3.
just installed gta 3 on my xoom. seems to be working fine.
Theres a rooted CWM flashable version of the stock ICS rom around. I think it's pinned in the dev section. I'm running it and all of the apps (games) I know and love (including GTAIII) run beautifully.

Just updated GTA3 from the marketplace to version 1.3 and it seems to have been fixed, just played for 30mins or so without a hitch!
Still an awesome game, love cruising round to 'Push it to the Limit', brings back memories!

I have the wifi only kang cm9 leak installed, along with the latest GTA3 patch and now I don't have lockups anymore. Played GTA3 for one hour, overclocked to 1.4ghz. No problems whatsoever.
Looks like they fixed it.
1.3 for me froze just after leaving the garage at the start of the game - could be because the sd files were from version 1.2?
have uninstalled and removed the sd files and redownloading... not sure if it will help.
sounds like 1.3 fixed it for everyone though
after the 1.3 update....working fine on my xoom and nexus both running ICS. played for 2 hours on xoom no bugs or crashing

and once the game loads i get a progress bar that goes over under the "f" and then crashers back to the home screen.
i dowloaded the sd files from another site and put them in the correct spot and that didnt help either

Are you using custom ROM or stock ?
I have similar issue - Crime Story game is running perfectly on stock ROM, but on custom is shutting down after 3 seconds. Same problem witch Opera mobile - just freezes on ICS builds.
I'm using the barebones cm7 rom.
I try it on my inspire 4g and it will load more but always crash. Before I can play the game

chainfire3d will WORK 100% eventually, but you gotta remember that the ROMs are still being worked on and are not meant for daily use. I don't know what that guy tried with his KF, but mine would freeze whenever I tried Galaxy on Fire 2 with it. And that was with trying all the different settings.
There are things like hardware acceleration, HD video, and audio issues still to figure out. Always best to debug with adb and see what's being said and pass it on to the developer working on the said rom.
I had seen a few threads saying it does not work, but then i saw a few others saying it works flawlessly. I just want to know if this will work or not?
Well either way i will find out tomorrow then when i get my TF in the mail.

Does it work now on your transformer? I've been trying to get it running for several hours now, still without success.
There is one version floating around the web that does indeed work.
Its very hard to find though, and No I wont tell you where, except 'google'
Mind you, it took me 2 weeks to find it. And it doesnt run perfect. The graphic glitches sometimes, and the overall framerate isnt quite as good as it could be.
I also had to apply several tweaks in Chainfire3D to get it running somewhat stable.
works on prime 1.4
I have reverted to prime rom vs 1.4 and order and chaos, monopoly, lets golf 3, sim city, fifa 12 and many others that were previously unavailable all appear on market and install fine. I am currently playing Order & Chaos from market without flaw.
edit: Have been trying various roms such as Prime 1.4r2, 1.6r2, 2.1. It seems android 3.1 and 3.01 all show these games and 3.2 / 4.0 does not. Prime 1.4 uk install has Gameloft netherland as market source all others are just Gameloft
Gameloft doesn't like ASUS, so they all appear incompatible in market. You'd have to edit your build.prop to make market think you have say... a motorola xoom and buy from there. Or get the apk from another android device you have and edit the apk to not check for device compatibility.
I understand the changing of build.prop and have tried many methods to get gameloft games working in the past. I am now using a stock 3.1 nvflash and Order & chaos does indeed show up on the play store as purchased and I can install it without problem. This is without any modifications or hacked apk. Perhaps someone else on 3.1 can confirm this is not just my good luck.
Check your build.prop with prime, something may be different. I'm really reluctant to even look at honeycomb again though xD with ICS so great for me.
