WARNING: If you are coming from SOS v2.0.1 or lower, a full wipe is required. If you are running any of the RLSs from the Soak Test, no wipes are necessary (but download the entire ROM). These wipes are required for full functiontionality. This will (hopefully) be the only wipe needed for 4.67 OTA-based SOS ROMs. MyBackup Root is a great (free) tool to backup your app data as well as texts and call logs.

Installation/Update Instructions

WARNING: If you have already installed a 4.67 OTA-based SOS ROM (i.e. Swag = OFF v2.0.1), with a full wipe, then you can simply flash this ROM over v2.0.1. If you are using v1.9.0.9 PR or lower, this update requires a full wipe This wipe is required for full functiontionality. This will (hopefully) be the only wipe needed for 4.67 OTA-based SOS ROMs. This ROM is still based off of the 4.54 OTA, but v1.9.0.9 will prepare you for future updates (i.e. this will save you from having to wipe later). MyBackup Root is a great (free) tool to backup your app data as well as texts and call logs.
Team Swag HIGHLY recommends a full wipe when updating. But, if you decide not to do a full wipe - the ROM will still work. It just be missing a few under the hood tweaks (which you probably wouldn't even notice).

Swagification
These are either MetaMorph themes or flashable .zips - the instructions will state which type of file you are downloading. For detailed instructions on how to flash a .zip, head over to the installation page.

Keyboards
These are installable .apks. This will modify the keyboards that come with Swag = ON.
To install: Uninstall your current HTC_IME Mod and then install the new one you want. Easy as that.

Status Bar/Notification Pulldown Modifications
These are MetaMorph themes. Status bar themes.
To install: Go to MetaMorph > Unzip/extract new theme (if you've used the theme before, still select this option, but then hit Update) > hit Close > hit "Apply all!" > wait till it's done > (tricky part) hold power button > Nothing happens but a light vibrate > Hold power button again > nothing happens for a sec, then EVO will hot restart on its own > Enjoy colorful joy!

Essential App Pack
Normally, ROMs come with a lot of apps that many users will use often, but I know that everybody won't use them. Due to that reason, I try to include as few apps as possible (and make them fully uninstallable). For those that do like to have some extra apps added in easily, this is the right place for you! The instructions are the same as the other App Packs, except the apps are located in /data/app.

CIQ Adder
If you are a fan of Sprint apps, you may need this. CIQ is explained here, and the reason it is not included in this ROM can be found here. However, according to this, you shouldn't worry too much about CIQ. If you are having problems running Sprint apps, try flashing this.

To re-strip CIQ, you simply need to reflash the ROM (Swag = ON) or Unswagification Pack (Swag = OFF), this will UNDO any other modifications (themes, kernels, etc.) you have made to SOS, though.

Latest Radio Update (2.15.00.08.08)
Recently a new radio update was release for the HTC EVO 4G, be sure to update to it to receive the latest updates for your EVO!
Flashable .zip
When flashing this file, recovery will tell you to reboot. Do this by going back to recovery's main screen and selection Reboot (at the top). Then a weird updating phone thingy will pop up. Then it will go back to recovery and you can reboot again and you'll be good to go. Warning: Do not pull your battery or perform a radio update on a low battery. Let the installation complete. Failure to do so could result in you bricking your EVO (you have been warned). Also: It is a good idea to back up your WiMAX keys. This G&E article should help you out.
Splash Screen
This is NOT a flashable .zip, follow the instructions below. White-on-black Splash Screen (looks great with the boot animation for SOS):

Place this file on the root of your SD card, use the 4-in-1 reboot mod to reboot into the bootloader, select BOOTLOADER, press volume up to confirm install, then volume up again to reboot, enjoy! Make sure the file is name "PC36IMG.zip" and not something like "PC36IMG (1).zip" or it won't flash. Thanks to JSZESZE for the splash screen and thepiecesfit for making this PC36IMG.zip
Amon RA Recovery
Using ROM Manager, an app included with SOS, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the in-app options. The first-to-last option (under "More Recoveries") will read "Flash Alternative Recovery." Use this to flash Amon RA Recovery.
swagstr personally recommends manually downloading SOS and using Amon's recovery over ClockworkMod. However, ROM Manager is so damn easy! So the choice is really up to you

Ive been running this ROM from CWM for about a week. Really stable. If you want something that isnt a memory hog, this is it.
I don't want to confuse users. We are not associated in anyway so I'm not sure why the kernel I have been working on is included. I was never approached about my work being incorporated into your "swag". If you enjoy the kernel, direct users to it, would be much more easier for me to maintain, much apprecited.

I just did a clean install of this rom - swagged version - and I have 387 MB of available space with about 10 extra apps that loaded up after the install. Very fast and responsive thus far.

Ive got two EVOs ready and willing, both running swag off right now
Just a heads up. I uploaded the Soak Test. But then I tested it really fast and I broke the SystemUI.apk. Ahhh sh-t lol I got it all fixed, need to fix the hotspot now though. I got class for a bit today, but hopefully I can get this all wrapped up today

- All of Team D.I.R.T and everyone that supports Them!
- Download the ROM & Gapps using WiFi if not, a strong 3G signal
- Make sure you're using Smelkusmod as a recovery
- Please do a full complete wipe (everything but your sdcard) before flashing
- Move the ROM & Gapps to the sdcard
- Flash ROM then Gapps and ENJOY!!!
- Start Terminal Emulator
- Type "su" and Grant SuperSU Access
- Type "a2sd reinstall"
- Phone will Reboot and A2SD is ready to use!!!
Apex Launcher Settings: (This will Bring Down the Icons Lower on Launcher)
1. Goto - Menu/Apex Settings/Dock Settings
2. Click Vertical margin & Change to "None"
Statusbar Transparency: (This Will Give you transparent Statusbar)
1. Goto - Settings/Rom Control/Clock
2. Click Statusbar Transparency & Change to "25%" or Whatever you Prefer.
HTC Sense 4 Clock:
1. Hold down on Blank part of Homescreen Desktop
2. Select Widgets
3. Select Fancy Sense
4. Select 4x2 Clock & Select "Widget Style 1" then press Select
Circles Lockscreen (Reminds me of HTC):
1. Goto - Settings/Security
2. Click Screen Lock & Select Circles
- Wimax/4G
- FFC doesn't work

This ROM is absolutely jaw dropping! I can't believe how fast and how thoroughly themed it is. It really is like Sense 4. The commenting is slow at the moment, but once people try it, they will be amazed.

yep wipe three times and use two different recoveries and eash time the same result . Also having the same problem with AlienMOD Solar Flare Series 5 rom

Could be a partitioning issue or a bad download. I would retry...it is worth it.

going to try the partition but it redownload it the rom three and each one does the same thing
Well, just became a Papa today. That's the good (great) news. The bad news is I couldn't get the camera to work (reboots). Had to nand back. I did put in the Black Dome kernel. Maybe that's the problem. Anybody else? Or recommend another kernel or solution. Maybe I should go back to the stock kernel. Anybody got a link/zip? Really want to give this rom a go but need that camera.

Congrats on the new baby....try a complete wipe and flash ROM again...should work I've seen this before and I'm using tronit kernel other then the glitchy camera same on every ics/jb rom..Camera works here!!!

Seconded. This package of scripts has evolved from Epic 4g touch. Its been great so far, and exit only has made some fantastic and stable tweaks.
Excited to see this out for more devices and would highly recommend to anybody who wants a bit more umpf and battery life. If your device supports it, give it a spin!

Im noticing more free RAM, and no Lag when opening fresh apps. My GPS was so glitchy before I flashed your NOS, but today I drove thru Houston, rain, overcast, 100% cloud cover and I got an instant lock and kept it. Bottom line,your tweaks make Roms better. Thank you

I figured out what happened. This will only work if you are running jellybean or higher. I tried it on an ICS ROM for the ET4G and it boot looped.
I'm using it with JB Touched by SGIII 5.0 GB08 rom.
works great.
