Assuming you're on AT&T, flash a UCLA3 rom in the Dev section, there are plenty of them. CIQ was removed in the latest update (LA3).
Prior to this most roms still had CIQ but it was disabled (removing it entirely tended to break things like bluetooth).

How does one disable it on a 2.3.5 stock rom?
I'm working on my own rom and la3 is the freaking devil...

Is there anyone out there that can extract the smartshare.apk out of the stock LG gingerbread update? I've found this app very useful to stream media off my home media server. Has to be from the gingerbread update though

[I727R] UCLE2 Tar

Hey okay so I really want to do a clean install of ICS but as a rogers user the one click just won't work for me. What I was wondering is if the tar by romracer is any different? Is there anybody who has tried this or will this for sure brick me? Any input or help would be great Thanks
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
I think that tar would work since its not the one click.
Hmmmm that makes it very tempting I just can't risk a hard brick as I have no access to a JTAG box :/ I was just wondering if any other rogers users have tried it ?

* Added init script support. Scripts must be placed in "/system/etc/init.d" and have execute
permissions and owned by root. NOTE: this requires busybox to be installed.
* ro.debuggable is enabled by default.

Because he probably flashed with OUDHS which auto-loki'd it for him. It's not just ROMs that are compatible. Remember, it's the same hardware.

No reason why not. But twrp won't auto-loki right? If the ROM you flash is packaged with a kernel, you'll need to Loki patch it or flash that new Loki zip I saw afterwards. Then flash faux. On second thought, you probably wouldn't even need the Loki zip if you flash faux immediately after flashing the ROM.

Most the apks needed to decompile to port are incomplete on that leak. They are missing resources and can't be recompiled.
