This procedure applies to zte racer NOT TO zte racer II. They are allmost completely different phones. For now, there is no way to unlocked it, as far as i have sought. We are stilll waiting for support to come.

hi
I have a motorola razr xt 925 from carrier SFR Vodafone. it has a sim lock so i cannot use it as I am in India.
I just wanted to know, whether I can install a ROM from a different carrier, say verizon, so that i can use it in India at GSM frequecny.
Or is there any other reliable way to unlock the sim lock??
need to unlock your sim via a service, usually around 10 bucks for xt925
cellunlocker.net
ROM region X unlock

Installing ROMs from another region won't unlock the phone. Two different issues.

Unfortunately I can't. I think the true owner of the phone is required for unlocking it. I need different ways to unlock it. Can I just install another samsung s8+ firmware to this phone?

Can i just flash a rom that is SM-950FD to this phone? This rom has a dual sim feature but the SC-03J only has one sim. Will this work? i mean its okay even if its just one sim i just want it to work on my country.
Here are the difference in hardware:

No. There's no firmware or ROM that will SIM unlock it.
You'll need to have the original owner unlock the phone for you OR purchase the phone already unlocked - no software can unlock it for you.
Docomo and Softbank are extremely strict when it comes to unlocking a phone, you need to have an account with them for a few months, pay off the phone, and you'll be able to unlock the phone. If you don't then having it unlocked *remotely* is out of the question unless you sent it to someone who can unlock it for you.
Sorry to revive the thread after so long.
I have similar situation. I have a NTT Docomo s8+. I have unlocked it as well, it now works with my ATT sim in USA.
problem is the annoying Docomo apps in Japanese.
I am not able to rid of it completely.
Can I flash a US-Unlocked stock ROM or any custom ROM ?
pls let me know how.
Pls note my phone is Snapdragon based, (unfortunately most ROMs are for Exynos version).
