I was wondering if there is an official Ice Cream for the inspire 4G since the HTC announced that the Desire HD will have an official Ice Cream.
If it's not, is there any team will work on porting this official copy to inspire 4G since they are almost the same?
I know there are teams working on Ice Cream for inspire 4G and others but still in alpha or beta.

Wrong place to post this. A little searching would have given you your answer. In short, no. ATT won't release one as the Inspire is Eol. Also, the Desire HD rom hasn't been officially released.

As stated in the post above. No there will be no ICS for the Inspire just like there was no Official Sense 3.0 for the inspire that fixed the WiFi security issue wither. ATT normally only puts out one update per phone.

Quick Question, when a DEV gets working on this, how long typically to ROMS take to get to a beta or v1.0 stage?
We are going to be working with cyanogen to bring gingerbread to the aria. There will be no Liberated rom for gingerbread because I doubt htc will make gingerbread for the aria. Since htc version uses their own sense software we have no way to port gingerbread to htc version. Cyanogenmod 7 hasn't been started yet. So there is no eta at this point.

Is it possible to download a custom rom of ice cream sandwich after it comes out? Because I was informed that the G2x isn't getting the update so I was wondering if they have a cyanogen mod for ics

Most of theme are already been worked on, just have to wait for a stable version to come out, but yes, I am sure that the G2x will get a custom ICS rom. Probably CM9

Hi Everyone, I just thought I'd make a quick post and see if anyone is aware of the ICS progress for the LG G2x/P999
I know this stuff takes some time, so patience I understand...
I just hadn't seen too much out there for possible ICS support on the G2x from either CyanogenMod 9 or someone else.
I am hoping there will be a ICS ROM out soon for the G2x, I'm excited!

I'm pretty sure there are only a handful of devices that are not being supported in CM9, if you have anything fairly modern then you're gold.

There is a CM7 alpha that has been kicking around for a couple months. It isn't perfect but it is CM.

the alpha cm7 was made by kornyone and he is actually part of the cyanogenmod dev team
technically an unofficial port, but you'd never know

The site suggests an ota update to android 4.0.3 with sense 3.5 in march.
The latest leak we have is android 4.0.3 with sense 3.6.
bro we have to wait till htc edge/ville goes official...then our great devs will port ICS4.0.3 WITH SENSE4.0 for our sensations.
I have tried to update Desire HD from 2.3.5 to Ice Cream SAndwich, but it said I have no updates available. Please tell me hot to get it on my phone!
