Awesome! I'll give my feedback as to how it is working.
I did notice once a governor is selected you have to reset your Mhz or it will stay on 806 max. Also this kernel doesnt want to work with OC widget at all but works fine with SetCPU. I've always liked OC widget a little more as it uses less battery than SetCPU.
Great work so far BC your the man. Been running this bad boy and havn't had a single reboot @ 1.5ghz. Though my battery is going quick for some reason, dont know why

If you get random reboots, it means it's OCed a bit too high; just scale it back a bit and you'll be fine if that ever happens
Is this running at 1.5 all the time or does it throttle between ranges?
What is the default range?
Does the user have to do anything to enable or set the throttling?

As noted above, I'm new to OC'ing but I'm pretty sure you have to set it to the ranges you want via something like SetCPU or OS Monitor. I believe default is gonna stop at 800mhz unless you scale it up.

Use SetCPU and select the Mhz/governor you want to use. Each Governor "Throttles differently"

What are some good range options?
I'm using 800 min 1.5ghz max interactive. Profiles I have setup: charging 1.5ghz performance, screen off 800 max 245 min
Bumped it up 1.1ghz min 1.5ghz max interactive, going to see how much that affects my battery life

I have mine set to 768 min and 1.4GHz max interactive
Charging is 1.4 performance
screen off 245 min and 800 max interactive.
I don't want to push up around 1.5 until I'm sure this is more stable on my phone.

there no real need to have it running at such high freqs all the time mine is set at 245 min 1.31 max usually n got no lag what so ever
the higher speeds are more for gaming and cpu intensive applications

What started as a modification of the Community Kernel has grown into it's own beast....
As always, what you flash from me has not warranty as you have already borked your manufacturer's anyways.....
Now presenting the Choose your own Core version of Infusion Kernel. Since I couldn't deliver Dual core speeds, I thought that I would deliver 2 different cores!
Both Cores have the following....

What I have done here is overclocked the whole CPU/GPU bus from the ground up. Thus making a more user oriented experience and preventing bouncing the GPU all over the place. It's still a beta status (since the 1664 can freeze with large amounts of playing games, but is stable for everyday use), so I would not expect as smooth as the standard 200 MHz bus, but if you feel daring, have fun!

Careful with that though, I'm seriously thinking of taking the CPU/GPU from 208 to 206 due to 1664 being too close to my top speed of 1670 and freezing up 15-20 min into a graphically intensive game.... Great benches, with Nenamark 1.0 at 51 FPS (only top frequency and performance/Ondemand), but stability is key.

Trying B kernel. Running great so far, Oc'd and Uv'd but not using 1664 because of too many phone freezes. I did see other people say that bln is working good but not for me. I wonder why?
Edit: bln working fine battery was really low and so phone was trying to conserve power, I think?

4% overclock seems kinda useless but I tried it anyway. it needs like 100mv more to run stable so I don't think I could get more than 1.7 if I needed to. it seems stable so far.
I wonder why nobody has ever added unhelpful's gpu overclock to hardcores oc/uv meathod. with the buss overclock this could give you 231mhz. maybe 260 (if my assumtions about how it works are correct) I'm not sure if the gpu could run at 250 or 260 but it would be fun to test.

TEGRAK OC SETTINGS:
level 0= 1.3 no voltage changes IM CURRENTLY ON 1.6 -1385 - 1165
level 1= 800 - 1075 - 1050
level 2= 400 - 1000 - 1000
level 3= 200 -900 - 980
level 4= 100 - 850 - 950

are u saying to change Max CPU to 1.3 ghz on tegrak and then apply the voltages for level 0-4...How are u on 1.6 if the max is 1.3 on tegrak?...my level 0 is currently at 1000 1325 and 1100.all the other voltages are same as what you have above.....do i need to change it to (1385 1165 1100) or is it (1000 1385 1165) to get it 1.3ghz or is that 1.6 ghz?? Is there a significant difference in performance and battery life getting it at 1.3ghz? sorry i am just confused..thanks.

True, on the pop up menu it only goes to 1.3. You have to go to Optimization and change the settings there. Once in Optimization, go to cpu level 0 and make your changes.
I believe dsexton is saying he recomends a 1.3 but you can go up to 1.6. He's said going higher than 1.6 will impact battery life.

My phone is stable at 1.4 and dsexton's under-volting for the lower speeds. Beyond 1.4 I start running into problems.
How do you guys overclock... I literally try to go to 1.2 ghz on the paid version and it kicks me out without changin

another question: i'm using the matr1x kernel (17.5) and in the menu i have an option to overclock the gpu but there're options to get it to 1000Mhz? really?
Which are the riscs?

stock nexus s gpu is at clocked at 200mhz. you CAN NOT overclock it 500% to 1000ghz. thats just silly. thats like overclocking your cpu to 5ghz. the highest ive overclocked my gpu or ran a kernel that already has it overclocked is 250mhz. thats a 25% oc

That's the CPU clock you're looking at. LiveOC can overclock the GPU as a percentage value (ie, 110% is 200 * 110% = 220mhz), but it does the same to the CPU (so 1000mhz turns into 1100mhz). This will generally need adjusting the voltages upward.
So no need for any app to oc, just increase the LiveOc % ?
ya, that question about overclocking the gpu to higher then 300mhz was really silly, but asked t anyway
GPU Clock is stock at 200mhz, CPU is at 1000mhz. Increase LiveOC % and you'll go up by that percentage. Just remember, as i said, you will most likely need to adjust voltages to prevent instability and reboots. It's best just to set all of this up using NSTools.

Not all phones can handle such an OC (either because of GPU or CPU, or combination, it all varies). Hopefully you can get a stable setup, the extra GPU OC is a great performance booster.

And what a performance booster... I never bothered to try the LiveOC... I just OCed the CPU and thought that was the most I can do. But with 110% LiveOC and 1300MHz CPU OC, my phone is now eve faster than before.

I am currently running vb with the latest above kernel and xda-edition of setcpu...
My question, has anyone found voltages that are stable?
I have always/only used tegrak, when adjusting the voltages I am able to adjust "internal" as well as "core" voltages, as you may know setcpu only allows the adjustment of one voltage. So, I set all levels to the "internal" voltages that worked for me on tegrak(scaling set to smartass), everything was working fine until I rebooted the phone... At that point the phone would boot then freeze after the third media scan, I had to flash back to the b1 kernel to get back up and running.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

QUIETLYloud , I dont't have paid Tegrak so I cannot make a thorough test.
I tried using very old Ultimate version available someplace on the web, and it does in fact seem to mess the phone up. I didn't need to reflash, but had to uninstall Tegrak, reboot, clear caches, and rescan SD for errors. Google says that there were issues with Tegrak module and custom kernels, but they were supposedly fixed around version 1.4.
I tied the new free version 1.6.7 from Market. It doesn't let me do much (like setting on boot), but at least it seems to work correctly with frequencies.
The setup with OC kernel is a little different. Before, if you wanted to OC, you would go and enable CPU Max Frequency, which would replace 1 GHz. Do not go there! The kernel already has all overclocking frequencies available. Instead set the Scaling to the highest frequency you want to use (let's say 1.2 Ghz, which is CPU Level 2). Then go to Optimization and set desired voltages for the frequencies you chose. No need to change anything for frequencies above you max scaling, the CPU will not go there anyway. Maybe it's a good idea to completely clear Tegrak data and start setting it up form scratch.
Let me know if you succeed.
Btw common Google knowledge doesn't seem to recommend lowering internal voltages. You will not gain much, there is just not a lot of current draw there. It's the core that draws a lot of current.
EDIT: Hmm... Tegrak seems to have a problem with smartassV2 governor. If the scaling in Tegrak is set to use anything but all frequencies, including 1.4 Ghz, the governor will never lower the frequency from the highest selected. The kernel itself (with SetCPU or without) doesn't have this problem, it's only when proprietary Tegrak module is loaded.

I decided to scrap tegrak for the time being and use what you recommended with setcpu and left voltages alone until I have a better understanding, since doing so haven't had any problems

Btw I said before I set the default voltages kind of safe, even if they are slightly undervolted. I'm running the kernel UV-ed a little more with SetCPU for second day without any issues. Here are my numbers right now:
1.4 - 1350
1.3 - 1300
1.2 - 1275
1.0 - 1250
800 - 1175
400 - 1025
200 - 925
100 - 900

I apologize for some noobness coming this way, but I don't understand. Kernel beta5 is oc/uv - what does it mean if I don't use setcpu/tegrak?
Will kernel behave other than prior versions?
And if I decide to do use setcpu? What good does it make if uv makes no change (according to Antonx) and oc will only drain the battery even more, I mean, phone is pretty much fast, so why bother oc it?
