Dialers and Call history

Just wondering what apps people use for these?
I just went from a stock Desire (Sense) to Cyanogenmod nightly and both these apps seem pants...

Went from Sense/2.2 Desire to CM 6.1.1 and I honestly miss the HTC dialer; I loved the searching capabilities.
Now using Dialer One which is something inbetween, though it's got its problems such as not properly displaying pictures in the contact list/call log.

[Q] facebook live notifications

Hi everyone!I have an Htc Hd2 running cm7 typhon rom,and the notifications for facebook are not coming until I open the app. Can I fix it or can someone tell me what's the problem.

Yes it is updated..But when I just installed android (about month ago) everything worked normaly.I think it's the problem with the app.
I reinstalled the mod today and now the notifications are coming normally..

Facebook Notifications
I have been running this build for many months on my HD2. (As well as many different android versions before this) and I have literally NEVER seen a live Facebook notification (in the bar or a sound alert). Am I missing something? what is the Mod you refer to above?

[Q] Facebook constant refreshing in recent news using coredroid v2.0?

Anyone else having problems using facebook on coredroid v2.0? I am having an issue where i can look at everything else in the Facebook ap that came with coredroid except the recent news never loads just refreshes. I havent updated from the market just left the Facebook app as it cam with the rom.

MIUI 1.7 quickchat/preview for ICS roms?

Hey guys quick question, my favourite feature of MIUI 1.7 was the sms quick preview where the task bar would drop down and show a the SMS and give you the option to quickly reply to it. If you replied it would disappear again and pop up only if you got another message. And it could handle multiple messages with ease as well. I'm just wondering if there's a mod or a ROM that also has this nice little feature for people who text a lot. Right now I'm using Oodie MIUI and while the battery life is pretty good paired with speedy 7 (26 hours of light to moderate use) it doesn't really feel like an MIUI rom just yet.

SMS pop up is the closest thing I know of. That's the only thing I miss from MIUI. It was convenient.

[Q] Slow and jerky scrolling speed in menus in MIUI ROM

im using Singh MIUI ROM.
Did you guys noticed how slow scrolling up and down in menus is? This doesn't bother you?
If you scroll down or up (not just in menus, i noticed it in Whatsapp and Twitter as well), you can see that it's jittery and never smooth (although in Contacts it works fine).
I am wondering if this is ROM-specific or all MIUI roms suffer from it.
I had a vibrant and don't recall it being like this.

I've seen this in all the MIUI ROMs I have used, but only on the homescreen folders and a couple other places. You might try installing a different kernel, see if that helps.

Try deleting your msg, this is due to excessive msg in the history.. and more bloat you put on your fone the slower it gets..
