I did some XDA searching and some Google searching and no firm answer was located...
I know that the Sense ROMS on Froyo and GB with their applicable Sense apps are wholely dependent on the Sense framework.apk. I was wondering if this also applies to the Sense Messaging app mms.apk?
I am currently running a MIUI 1.4.22 ROM and I really like the Sense messaging app over the MIUI stock, GB stock, CM7 stock, Handscent, Chomp, etc messaging apks.
Before I try to install a GB Sense mms.apk on my HTC DZ to replace the stock MIUI mms.apk which will likely result into boot loop after boot loop, and invariably screw up, was wondering is anyone has tried to do the same WITH SUCCESS?
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, any HTC app will require HTC's framework..this applies to the phone app, contacts, calender, friend stream, the Sense widgets, etc. I haven't tried to do this myself, but I could only guess it applies to the mms.apk also. Although, I don't think it will put you in bootloop if you tried and it failed, probably would just FC. For it to work with CM7 or MIUI framework I think it would need to be ported.

Anyone know if there is a compatible Sense 4.0 keyboard I can flash for my HyperNonSense rom?
The stock one is killing me, keyboard/camera were the only real plusses of Sense.
Let me know if anyone has heard of this!
Is there anyway to install the launcher and app drawer from the newer ICS sense roms either as an apk or a flash?
Short answer: No
Is possible to remove the Sense interface and install the default ui from ICS android?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda app-developers app
You should look for CM9 (ICS, stable) or CM10 (JB, considered as alpha)
try apex launcher app, if you just like having default ui interface without flashing anything.
Look at HyperNonSense http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581619.
This is still actively developed sense ROM with sense UI replaced with Stock theme.
There is also Schnizlon's ICS AOSP theme for sense which may work with your current ROM.
