I guess we got swept under the rug lmao
This was very stupid thing to do to the milestone xt720 this still very active development.
Who did this a dumb as a monkey.
This has made decide to start moving of xda.form.

well.. hell go to xt720... but ms1?!
My biggest problem is that my XT720 forum subscriptions aren't displayed on usercp any more. (They do still work in the app, though). Thread subscriptions still work, but it's freaking annoying for keeping track of new threads.
Droid/Milestone A853 were also depreciated.
did you try unsubscribe then refresh and then subscribe again?
Not to be mean but if your pulling a motoroa on us I really wonder if xda forms is for me very soon going to sprint I don't believe I would stay here.

Yes, I've tried a few permutations of unsubscribing/resubscribing, logging out/in, refresh, browse around etc. Is it just me having this problem? The XDA app still lists them fine, it's just the usercp that's giving me trouble.
Nope not just you. The quicest way I've found, from the PC, is to type xt in the find your device field in the upper right of the screen
I've added this bookmark to my browser http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=929 but now I have two pages to monitor. It's workable but quite annoying.
I made a thread about the problem in the xda-developers.com forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554558

hey guys,
First congratulation on our new home here on XDA.
when i first came to this website couple of month ago, i had no idea where to find our forum. so i searched for the device on the the upper right corner while selecting forums and instantly redirected me to the i9000 subform.

That was great, however this wasn't fixed when we have our own section now, it still redirects to the old subform, which will easily confuse any new comers to the website.
One more thing worth mentioning, when i try the same search but using the portal radio button the website redirects to an error page , i hope that can be fixed too
if anyone knows a moderator or someone capable of solving these issues please help to improve our phone
Thanks for your time
I had the same issue raised This is what I meant by It's easier to use that then searching LOL

Sorry I didn't run into that earlier post of yours, so is anyone doing anything about it?
Maybe not now, as the forums migration is still being carried out
It's only a matter of time until it'll be fixed
good to see that the mod has done some work in the forums...its so clean!
This type of issue should be reported directly to a Senior Moderator for resolution. Having seen this thread, and verified the issue, I will pass it along to the admins for fixing.

These are files and they come from your phone.
Ahh, is that why they show up in a file explorer on my phone?
Doesn't explain why they just appeared one day.

How about you invest some time and don't assume every uses magic glass ball to know what you want.
There are 10 files on that screenshot, which one bothers you?
Well i guess you mean the file created 31 Dec, so why not tell me that?
You want the help, so don't let others do you work, do some research yourself, present others your result and THEN ask your question.
You did not even seem to have bothered google with "one" search first:
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=android+file+named+"mr.log"
Oh look at that 3rd entry.
A virus called "Yxes.A" creates a "mr.log" file, though the reports only talk about symbian OS.
You might have a virus...
NO STOP! Keep your finger of the reply button, don't ask how to remove it.
GOOGLE IT then come back tell us what you found and why it didnt work...
More specifically, the rc and sh files. The first thing I did was Google them, but the results meant nothing to me.
My reply wasn't meant to sound arsey so I apologise if it came across that way.

I meant to take this screenshot:
I flashed the .62 ROM from here: http://www.multiupload.com/L8P0U47S0V a couple of days ago but I can't remember seeing them when I first had a browse.

I use my work phone as my personal phone and am going to be getting an Infuse soon. I've had several Android phones before, but only on my own account. I really enjoy modding and would like to continue to do so. However, I believe they will likely push an IT policy onto the phone, so I need to have daily access to the stock ROM.
Is this possible?

Maybe before you get the other infuse you can learn that this is in the wrong section.

Yeah! What they said. Q&A would be your best place to post a question.
But in the mean time...check this out.

would this be hard if you save your data on your phone ?
so it should be
/data1
/data2
?
and if you save your apps on sd, how about which rom gets to see sd apps? which dont?
as far as I know its not currently possible on the infuse. the bootloaders aren't designed for it.
it can be done on the old htc hd2 and maybe other HTC phones that can use the hd2 bootloaders.
Let me see if i can get the iron fist to move or delete this post.

Imagine that. It gets moved into the Q&A section and dies.

How many different threads do people need to open for exactly the same problem - this has been reported on at least five threads yesterday - and is an acknowledged issue caused by updates to the system.
Learn to use the search button before posting please.

I've been reading articles about a recent major update to Google Maps, but so far nothing appears to have changed on my phone (or tablet, for that matter) and the Play Store tells me I've got the latest.
Anyone know what gives with this? Does anyone have the new version?

Good for a laugh first thing this morning lol
Thanks. Didn't realize they maintained different "versions" of the app targeted to specific O/Ss and devices. Hey -- my app runs on anything from 2.3 up!

The lastest update really does suck !
I was on the free way, but it showed my position on the street next to the free way. It had never happened before the update. So I don't recommend people to update. And my GPS signal is pretty good (16/25 sat.), so there is nothing wrong with my gps, but the app itself.
Agreed, if you can keep from updating, definitely hold out. Mine wouldn't keep up with my position in navigator and it was telling me to turn in directions which weren't even possible. They've introduced some major bugs with this update. I reverted back to an older version and I'm good to go now.
