I know! We have a Sense 4 Rom coming (Sometime) that's Virtuous. This is amazing, poor people who gave up on this device. I was going to, but we started to get more Devs. Now we have Virtuous! All the Tbalden haters must feel pretty dumb right about now. ;D

So does this mean we will have virtuous quattro?
No matter where I look, we don't seem to have ANY fully working gingerbread or ICS vanilla/AOSP roms...
A lot of near perfect ones, but nothing flawless

Through HTC? Probably a long time.
I personally hope it is not extremely long, but odds or it will be much longer than it should be. Either way though it will be available here on XDA before we ever get a OFFICIAL update to ICS.
Is it just me, or does sense 4.0 start to make more sense now?

i dont think sense 3.5 can handle ICS , so i think sense 4.0 is a pretty sure bet

yeah, since most changes in ICS are visual, they'll get buried under the miui skin. The same will happen with Sense, although i expect Sense 4.0 (or whatever) to bring some differences from 3.5. This is the same as Miui Gingerbread, except under the hood improvements. I'll wait for CM9

Humm...preference is the killer here .. many will prefer miui or sense over the aosp vanilla look. In the end everyone is excited by how it looks. But I wonder how will they top the already so tasty look of ICS

+1 I agree there.
I think I will settle for CM9, and enjoy ICS. Then later down the line, when I've used ICS, i can flash back to Sense/MIUI ROMs.

Got to be honest I agree with you. I preferred miui over aosp gingerbread and sense roms and although ics looks good and the likes of superkid and Co have done a great job porting it so quick, I'll still be sticking with miui. I really don't like the app drawer, it annoys me. Just hope you can still customize the new miui v4 like you can now.

FINALLY. Now if I can get this radio bug resolved, I'll be good to go.
Ooooh cool! The thing I'll miss in these aosp roms when they come is the sense camera app. Still looking forward to trying them!
Hmm wouldn't it be reasonable to keep at least the cam app? Or least an opportunity for flashing afterwards.

No. It requires Sense parts. Not worth it to bring it in.
Far as i can tell the one x cm9 retained the sense cam app due to of being a nightmare.you can use ics camera anyway even now on ours. Ics+ through market is the ics camera app just adapted and a few extra features.
I love pure android..hope it arrives soon

If I have an Android device that's new and it's my daily driver AND it runs Sense, you bet your ass I'm going to do what I have to in order for AOSP to run on it.

Just got done testing it, everything works good! Data, had an issue connecting to my works wi-fi but that could be because I wasn't logged into my Google account. It was very bare bones but couldn't believe how quick it was, looked great!!! No sound but that was stated! Can't wait for more! Can't believe how quick this was built!
Oh yeah and ROM size being only 104MB was choice!
Nice to see you here ProTekk, Ive used your AOKP ics rom on my incredable 2 and it worked great considering you didnt have any source code for ics kernel for the device.

Hi torxx! Thanks for supporting the Desire S with ViperRom! I'm currently using mytouch 4g slide as my primary development device but would love to use this with my good old Desire S for a daily rom.
And by the way if you're interested do you still accept developers in your group? If possible I would like to support development of this ROM on Desire S. Right now I don't have any projects with my Desire S but is currently providing unofficial patches and fixes with the virtuous infinity on the mytouch 4g slide forum so would really love to work again with my other device.
