Junior member, member, and then senior member. There's also recognized developer and some ranks for mods also.

One person can have multiple ranks, these are not ordered and taken from the google document containing members holding official positions.
What are you working on ?

It looks like our Zilch for moderator campaign was deleted during the recent XDA hardware glitches, so I decided to resurrect the thread
Seconded
Don't you know it was all an elaborate ruse to bring the server down to delete the Zilch for mod thread!?
Zilch25 for moderator!

I would suggest you review the forum rules and the GPL before questioning the actions of XDA moderators. They do what they do for reasons. This is not a free software hub. This is a development hub and certain rules do apply.

Is that so? Sorry if whimsical things such as the GPL and the fairly rational rules and standards of XDA get in your way of just using any software you feel like, any way you feel like. Nobody made you become a member. In fact, if you think the GPL is not worth abiding by or being respected, you should just trade in your Android device and get a BlackBerry. Am I really the only one that thinks the GPL and XDA rules make some sense?

This website is not a community for breaking rules that are illegal you can try to google search but I Doubt you'll find one

Well hello there, new user who rushed into not only using the xda forums, but also downloading the XDA app and posting without reading the rules!
I believe you are going to be extremely happy with what I have to offer. You see, I am about to give you the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. It's 42!
But that's not all. I'm also giving you something (almost) just as important, the link to the rules of these forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=530
However, since you apparently suffer from a certain lack of vision and/or understanding (considering that you've already read and agreed to these rules), I'm going to take one extra step and actually quote the part that interests us:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.

And obviously (this is more about common sense than rules): post in the correct section.

Here is the main thread on the subject: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220719
Please remember that xda has rules governing many things, starting with: 1. Search before posting. Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
