Strange thing started recently on my Desire S with Endimion 3.4 rom.
If the lockscreen not activated when incoming call start to ring tooltip shows up saying "Snoozing for 10 minutes." and also new alarm icon in notification bar appears which states:
Alarm (snoozed)
Alarm set for hh:mm. Tap to cancel.
I wonder which application does that and how to disable it. Any ideas?
Every call? Or just calls at a certain time of the day?
Today (~10:00 - ~ 15:00) I noticed that this happens on every incoming call. Usually alarm when triggered after 10 minus showed on lockscreen name of my waking alarm which is set to 7:20.
But as you asked it I checked again and now (19:25) no alarm was set.
That's strange.
I have no idea of reason but it's quiet annoying when happens.

A good start-off point would be to re-scrutinize your alarm settings. I suspect the solution is easier than you imagine.
I finally managed to resolve situation.
It is some kind of bug in HTC Sense 3.5 alarm, which has "Snooze duration" option in settings and I just changed duration from 10 to 5 minutes and back.
And voila - problem disappeared.
Aparently the value of 10 minutes was cached somewhere and incoming call triggered same action as snoozing of waking alarm.

i have this problem 2 times now. both times i had to hard reset the unit. after i reset it, everthing goes back to normal. calendar alarms will ring 30 mins before the due meeting.
then suddenly it doesn't ring anymore. i checked the settings for sounds and notifications and it's checked on nofitication (alarms, reminders). but it doesn't ring. only my alarm clock rings. i keep missing my meetings because of this.
can someone pls help? thanks
you can check this application:
http://www.handster.com/product.php?id=6
it improves among other things alarms, so that they are called and repeated for required time, even if sound swithced off.
I already got two times the same problem.
I set a clock alarm to wake me up at 8am but it only started ringing at 8.12
In the begining I though I maybe didn't hear the first ring
but I had the same issue with a reminder of an appointment. In fact this one only start ringing when I turned the screen on.
It seems that in the "power safe mode" (when the screen is not on), the notification are not displayed in "real time".
Did someone noticed this?
is there a fix?
Vincent
I had a similar problem whith my Universal, and needed a Hard Reset to fix it...
Is it just me or do the alarm clock on this thing really blow? It repeats once every 5 min with some odd sound and that's it, I won't wake up. I need something that starts low and increases for example. Am I checking wrong when I goto Clock and Alarm
No you're not I think, much trouble about that clock including the fact that it won't sound loud if the phone is in vibrate mode - these kinds of alarms (not event alarms) should sound anyway...

For the increasing sound, you can use a custom soundfile, that's long & loud enough to wake you up...
As for the vibrating mode I can only think of a workaround... recently 1 saw a program that switches sound profiles automatically (don't ask I don't remember the name). You could set it to switch to "Loud" before the alarm sounds...
I had alarm and reminder issue for a long time with WM6.1.
if the phone is in stand-by mode, the alarm will not wake up, nor does reminders. I tried menmaid, doesn't help, my notification queue is not long at all. Then I had to do a master-reset to get my alarm work again.
But just yesterday, I found if I turn off the "voice commend" feature on my phone, the alarm again would not work from standby mode. But if I enabled the "voice commend" feature, the alarm started to work properly again.
Not sure if this will work for others if they had the same alarm and notification issue. But it worths a try if Menmaid or other ways on internet turns out not help.
I've got an interesting problem with CM10 Stable. If I enable Profiles, I get random notifications for no reason. Every 10 minutes or so, the phone will vibrate twice and sound the default notification tone. There's nothing in the Notification Drawer, no incoming messages, nothing. If I disable profiles the notifications stop.
Any ideas?
Figured it out. One of my profiles had a check next to Notifications in Vibrator Overrides. So it was causing it to notify every time JuiceBox or Avast changed status.
