does anybody know for what these pins (see picture) are. Is it maybe possible to use them for charging? I thought about the wireless charging mods...

ther are suppose to be grounding..
not for charging purpose..

"Inductive charging mod SUCCESS!!" that's in the Sensation Accessories thread.
Thank you man, how could I forget this thread. Maybe because it's one of the unprofessional mods for inductive charging. I searched a lot of in the www and there are very nice mods compared to the linked one. ^^

Hello everyone,
after taking a closer look at the car dock for the upcomming htc hd2 / leo, i discovered this small USB port on the dock itself http://scr3.golem.de/?d=0910/HTC-HD2&a=70290&s=6
but there is no cable connection to the HD2 itself as you can see on the following picture http://scr3.golem.de/?d=0910/HTC-HD2&a=70290&s=7
BUT the htc website mentions charging via the car dock http://www.htc.com/uk/product/hd2/overview.html at the end of the page .
And when your trip comes to an end, you’ll be happy to know that your HD2 has been charging up for your next endeavor outside of the car.

The dock comes with a special back cover which has a charging port in the connection between the dock and itself. Check the links in the big Leo thread, there are pics of this battery cover in there (Somewhere).

hello - seriously considering getting this phone to replace my Note II (luvs me some big screen). I cannot find this answer anywhere - does anyone know if this phone has the connector prongs for wireless charging receiver (QI/powermat)??

I think there are online auction sites like amazon and ebay have wireless charging option. but I think you need to be careful as there are configuration that is needed for it to work.

Seconded - moving from wireless charging on my Note 2 is the only downside to my upgrade. Can anyone confirm if there ar the necessary prongs inside the case...?

I can say that there cant be done to the device as of this time, maybe samsung will do the tweak in the future..
