Internet connection using USB port

Hi there:
I just try to get the information of How to config the treo 750 to conect to internet using my pc conection.
I've already read the most of the post that I could but no luck.
Also i already try using the activesync and didn't work.
Im with Windows xp and WM6.

My investigation has found Explorer does not connect, but email is ok, and spb weather works. I think I had Mobile Opera working at one stage.
I would like to get explorer working as well.

I'm not sure, but I found that connecting to the internet using wifi (old hermes), while having a proxy connection to network will attempt to use the proxy. Obviously, this won't work. Try making network that does not have a proxy, just create one with some crap settings. This might work, but it might not. Again, this was for WiFi, and I don't know if the same applies to USB.

Internet Sharing - Wifi router to Touch Bluetooth to Artemis u

Hi Folks,
i am trying to get internet to my Artemis ( Tmobile version without wifi ). My Tmobile touch has internet access via wifi. I was thinking to start internet sharing using bluetooth to the artemis, but I cannot find any internet sharing in it. Do you guys have any ideas how to proceed ?

internet sharing on WM doesn't support sharing wifi to bluetooth connections, unfortunately. the best alternative, if you can at all use it, will be found in www.wmwifirouter.com

Thanks for your input. I was wondering if the windows mobiles 6 are not same. I have upgraded HTC artemis ( without wifi ) to 6.0. It has the internet sharing icon ( and bluetooth pan ). However, the newer htc touch ( t-mobile ) also with win 6.0 does not have that. Is the touch is incapable of such thing? It has the bluetooth too.

it's all about having the internet sharing application installed or cooked into the rom you're using.
btw, your artemis, touch, or any other device, even having the internet sharing app, can only use bluetooth to supply a connection rather than use a connection.

Wi-Fi not working..

Hey, my wi-fi is not working, i have a HTC hd2, with Mobile .net compact framework 3.5, Im connected to Wi-Fi but the page doesnt show up, is just says Connection closed by the server. I've tried Internet Explorer and Opera. And its not only my network, the network at the school doesn't work either.
I dont want to do a Hard reset, is there any other ways to fix this?

plz help! I cannot use internet passthrough in WMDC anymore

I use WMDC 6.1 for windows 7 laptop 64-bit
my mobile is htc cruise with windows mobile 6 professional
I used to work fine one sync and use the internet one my htc through my laptop passthrough internet connection.
for 3 days now I cannot use the internet anymore although syncing is ok
each time I try to use the internet on htc it starts connecting with my data plan but not through the laptop. when I turn my sim card off or remove it from the phone, the internet works fine !!!
how can I solve this problem?

I found the solution to this problem by using SKTools and then in network configurations, u disable GPRS data connection..

[Q] active sync and internet connection setup.... pls help

boss, i am using following
1. device- htc hd2 , win mob6.5
rom- 1.66.415.9 wwe.
2. laptop- win xp with active sync 4.5.with a dsl connection.
i have been using the internet of my computer by active sync in my htc hd2. and everything was working very nicely. my hd2 have been connecting to laptop and the internet of laptop in a second and was very good. suddenly few days ago the htc weather stopped updating.
my data plan (sim) dont have any internet connection. i,some time use the wifi of my work place. from yesterday my phones few features got disrupted, like i can connect to active sync internet of my laptop and use-1.opera browser, 2.intenet explo. 3.google maps. 4.facebook for win mob. 5.spb tv 5.palringo.. without any problem
but i cant use 1.win. my phone, 2.marketplace 3.magic mobile currency converter 4.open market. when ever i try too connect them or start this applications, they replies could not establish a connection. check your internet connection.
i have been trying to fix it. i used all the methods i found in xda website, like active sync config, uninstall-install, active sync>file>connection>this com is connected to internrt. registry tweak to add d-word value allowLPS and all
on device i checked connection setup, kept my work connection in advanced setup, changed them did a lot of things. i updated the connection database of all operator also, but no result.
still all those application cant find any internet connection in my hd2, where as others are connecting nice and working well. i tried to uninstall and install those programmes in my device but no resolve
pls if you guys can help. i have been happy with this win mob, even people was telling lot of doubt about win mob, because i found out xda developer, which makes it worth to keep a win mob device in pocket.
