Hey people,
A friend of mine just got his new S2, and I got to play with it a little bit. Now I have to say, this works great! But since I'm still stuck to my HD2, I was wondering if there is a ROM out there that is similar to the S2's default look.
Unfortunatly, I can't show you guys a picture of how a homescreen would look, since I need 8 posts first...
But if anybody knows a ROM like this, I would love to know!

Hello XDA, I recently bought a galaxy tab 2 10.1 and I could not make it to work the built-in microphone, did you know of any way to give a test of functionality, or did you recommend me to take it to technical service, thanks

Its simple to test it.download a voice recorder app from market.try to record something.like this you can test.

i was hoping a different test, bc i did that and no response from the mic....
I was saying a hardware, not software test.....

The P3100 has phone,SMS etc. I've recently swapped my galaxy note 2 for a tab 2 as my sole device. Use it as a phone or with wired, Bluetooth headset etc. Just class it as a big phone.
Note that the WiFi only version has no phone capability

I did a lot of research, but it was not clear for me at all.
Yesterday I contacted a french hi-tech seller about the galaxy tab 2. The guy answered me that I cannot phone with it. If I want phone capability, I have to buy the note 10.
I'm sorry but the subject of "Can I use my tablet as a phone" is a tricky one, or at least not clear at all.
I'm planning to offer a tablet as a gift for my parents. So if I can phone with the Tab 2, then I'll buy it for Xmas. Otherwise, I have to find another one !

The Tab 2 is much cheaper than the note 10, so it's a good option for me.

P3100 is the 3G version of the 7 inch Tab 2 and it's totally different to Note 10, i hope you know this. It's not the 10 inch Tab 2 and there are 6 types of Tab 2: P3100, P3110, P3113, P5100, P5110 and P5113.

Depends on which "this tablet" model you have. What is your model number?

Waa, thanks for asking. I meant the 10 inch version.... 7 inch is too small for my old parents !!!! :silly:
Does it change anything ? The 10 inch version does not have phone capabilities ?

I have not bought it yet. I am searching for a "good" one. good means 10 inchs with phone capabilities...
tab 2 10.1 have 3g version too just like 7.0 but i forgot what is the phone model.. hmm maybe p5100?
P5100 is the 3G version of Tab 2 10.1 inch and it has support for GSM voice communication, SMS and MMS.

Hello fam, u guys are really doing a great work and thanks for that. Not long i received a sumsung galaxy s6 live demo unit which i have gigantic problem with it.......
For the live demo unit i managed to take it off from it by the help of you guys.....
Recently i made an upgrade and now the fingerprint is not working and then that of the backup password is also not functioning at all so was thinking maybe i have a screen touch problem. Can't use the phone anymore so please help me out if its possible for me to flash it. Thank you fam'........
