I am not specially a fan of CM and MIUI,but sometimes after months of Sense you get bored and you want to play with MIUI or CM.
On Sensation CM9 and MIUI v4 are doomed: no BT and camcorder!

erm.. we got no camcorder ( bt is fixed/being to be fixed really soon) because the lack of source.. The One X will suffer of this until they release source..
Is the same identical thing
I think this would be a pretty easy (relative) fix once source is released

Browsing the Galaxy Nexus forums for some ideas for tweaking my ICS-Powered Sensation and came across something which may help people decide whether to stick with the HTC Camera or to use the ICS AOSP Camera in the current ICS Senseless builds.
Simply called Camera ICS, it also has a Pro version.
I've tried the free version and it seems to offer as many options as the HTC stock camera.

Is this possible since both Sense 4 and Sense 3.6 are ICS based and is anyone willing to do it?
It has to be the fastest camera I have ever used and if ported correctly I know that it would be a nice addition to the sensation roms.

I started a thread about this yesterday and was told its not possible due to the new HTC one X (with sense 4 camera) has a dedicated camera chip that our sensation does not have.

Then how come it works just fine in the Sense 4 port?
okay guys
i have tried sense 4.0 rom and the camera software is just awesome..
but it will take lots of time for the complete sense 4 working on our sensation
can we just port the camera software as even the software is taking crisp photos and i heard that CEO of htc said that ""HTC'S ENGINEERS HAD WORKED A LOT ON THE CAMERA SOFTWARE"" and so it might be possible to port the camera and gallery of the sense 4.0
It's not just the software that has been changed. The One series that is coming also has a different camera, so you won't be able to take pictures 0.7 seconds after each other. However, you will be able to use the new scenes etc.
Who care for the 0.7 second speed

It's too early. We haven't even seen official update to ics, so our devs will have a solid base to work on a sense 4 port. Hell, there isn't even a proper endeavor ruu, just one leaked. There are some early sense 4 builds you could check out, but very buggy and unstable. In one word: later

ya i have tested the sense 4.0 rom and i loved the camera app and the gallary thats y i was thinking to make a thread so that we can have sense 4.0 camera app to make our sensation taste more camera rusult

Even if the rumors are true this rom will be unusable just like the other two from viper... It's ridiculous that after few days the phone lags like hell, and the phone is unusable when installing apps from play store.

I can't say that ViperS 1.6.3 lags as hell, but 3.0.x versions are unstable, true.
ViperOne ROM will be for HTC One only. And ofc, that phone will have working camera.
ViperS project (i believe) will have sense 5 version, because ivicask booted it.
Working camera depends on all our sensation's developers. We lose them because our device is relatively old.

No, they are both unofficial ports from HTC One..
Bluetooth won't work until someone works day and night on it, or until we get an official update(its unlikely)...
