This may be a simple fix, is there anyway to get the goo app to load the newest nightly to the external sd card. It downloads it to the internal sd card and then I have to move it to the external SD to use it with CW. Is this the way it has to work or is there someplace to change the download location in Goo?
You're talking about a website...? Goo.apps? Where we all get roms from?
In that case, you'd be using tablet browser to download the file. So yes, you can change the 'downloads' location to /ext/
But I dunno how.
Check the settings for which ever browser you prefer.

Once I install a rom, (phoenixblood/eaglesblood are ones so that ive used so far) I lose functionality of the internal storage as in I cannot use astro file manager to go internal storage. I don't have a micro sd card. ive tried another file manager which shows my mnt/sdcard as blank. I can easily access my storage through cwm when installing zips. Is there a way to fix this?
edit: now on eaglesblood I can access astro without crashing how ever my /mnt/sdcard is empty when it isnt on stock rom. In storage settings it says the info for addiditional storage (/mnt/emmc) is unavailable when on stock rom it shows the total and available space. also when i start astro and go into the directory it says error creating external cache which should help explain why this is happening
They have external as priority for storage you can navigate to it from ::mnt/emmc also look for a "flash mount change" or something close in the Dev section probably a few pages back.

I found it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1144553
which one should I install right now i am using eagleblood
Not positive to tell you the truth personally I'd flash mount internal as primary and external as secondary and for ext4 file system that's all I know lol.

I am running cm7 and everything is running great. The only little hiccup I have is that I can only access one of my SD cards. With the stock File Explorer and Linda, only the internal SD is showing, and the External_SD folder empty.
Under cm7 settings>applications, there is an option to switch SD cards, but all that does is reverse what is show in the file explorer.
Both SD cards are available when I plug into the PC, but this is annoying having to manually change settings. It wasn't like this with stock 2.3.3.

External SD isn't used by cm7 you have emmc, which is your internal SD and SDcard which is your external sd

Wow, nvm. I got it figured out, had to do a little exploring.
My next task; browsing LAN network via wifi with Linda manager. Is this possible to access my home computer's hard drive from my phone? Looks like i need a host ip and password with Linda.

With the lack of apps2sd, my Sero 7 Pro was quickly running out of internal memory. I used ES File Explorer to look around in my device to see if I could delete anything. What I found was everything I downloaded or installed was being saved in a folder called Downloads on my internal card. I created a download folder on my external card and moved all the files. I went from about 500MB free internal to about 3GB free internal.
Now, my question, is there a setting somewhere that will make all downloads default to the external card?

yes you can
use download manager their are many download managers are availble on playstore you can download them directly.. if you are using browser apart from stock or chrome you will find setting to change download directory..
I want to select my external SD card as the download location for Google Play Music. There should be an option in settings to do this, but it is missing on mine. However, under "Manage Downloads" it shows 30gb available, so it knows my external SD card exists. I've tried to create a link from my internal storage to my SD card using Root Browser, but it fails and tells me that some systems and SD cards don't support symbolic links.
I'm running CM11 and my SD card works perfectly in every other application.
I really need help on this one
Thanks in advance

I'm nearly sure there's an xposed mod for this. At one point I think there was an update from Google that it would have the ability to save to the external SD but somehow they managed to screw it up
