New modem (UCLA3) looks like performing astonishingly good. Never was able to get even close to this speeds.
Where were you? I've never gotten that high unless in certain areas.

Wow, you guys are getting some awesome speeds. I have only managed to get 19mb down when I visited New Orleans a week or two ago on lte. 4g I get around 7 or 8 down
The fastest I got was 44Mbps down in Vegas. Otherwise in LA, I usually get around 15Mbps.

Was just getting ready to reply to the OP. I can confirm 62mbps down in good ole houston tx. Pretty badass.
Simlar speeds in Baltimore
LTE speeds around Baltimore, MD have been pretty similar since I got the skyrocket back in November. Tests over the past few months have been in between 50-60Mbps down, 12-15Mbps up. I'd post a picture but it's telling I can't until I post 8 times since I'm a new member. I get better LTE reception around the edges of the city and it drops to HSPA+ sometimes in the center of the city.

Just noticed my phone flipped to 4g for about 10 minutes. I'm in Pensacola Florida and we don't have 4g yet. Double checked with a friend to make sure I wasn't going crazy and he had the same thing happen. Has anyone else noticed Verizon testing in your area?

I'm pissed I live like 50 feet from full 4g and yet somehow there is none at my house.
I flicker in and out of 4G every 10 seconds or so where I live. The closer I get the airport the longer it takes to flip out. Speeds are unreal though.

After 4 weeks of testing or so, Lehigh Valley PA is completely on
I'm 20 miles from Downtown Chicago and haven't gotten so much as a flicker of 4g...
About 3 weeks ago had 4g for one evening here in murray, ut. Other suburbs have since reported brief moments of 4g (sandy, olympus). hopefully it won't be much longer.

We have a tower or 2 lit up here in the suburbs of Memphis but not even close to being fully deployed.
I live on the outskirts of Sacramento, CA and don't have 4G yet...but where i'm going to college in Pomona, CA I do
Dayton, Ohio. Testing going in and out over last 2 weeks...
Portland, OR is being tested too, I was hearing that its supposed to be available in june out here, but this is a RUMOR, not official word

In my area which is Youngstown Ohio the 3g has always been slow. Now it is going in and out. Everytime I call support they say there is a known problem and is being worked on. This has been going on since February. Anyone else having problems. I am not in a 4g area.

Yea my city, stl, and detroit always battle it out for number 1, and 4g is great here.

i live in Washington C.H. and i have 3g it works ok i guess. i work in london and i have 4g and its nice and fast. im about 20 25 miles from a 4g area

Wow that's good news! I was about to attend UC Riverside but decided not to (Going to Cal Poly Pomona which is literally on the border for LTE coverage). Now I will be able to get 4G when I visit friends there!

Wow here in Loma Linda/redlands area I got 4g on and off today for the first time! When 4g was displayed, I got no data connection though. Few more months prob till it goes live

Im at Euclid and 16th and I dont have 4G at my house.
However i did notice it as i got closer to the 10 freeway.
I live in south ontario, basically Euclid south of the 60 Fwy. I get 4G
I also got 4G in South Fontana, and in Upland by the 10 fwy
Dammit. I'm still on 3G over here in the canyon crest area of riverside

Is anyone in an area where t-mobile upgraded their network to HSPA+ 42? I live in such an area but am on Sprint but I'm considering switching to t-mobile.
Sprint's 4G here is a lot slower in most places than the theoretical maximums.
Considering most phones on the market can only do 7.2 or 14.4Mbps the so-called 42Mbps is marketing hyperbole. The G2X max speed is 21Mbps and you are never going to get top speed on any device due to OS overhead, etc.

Pretty sure the T-Mobile rocket USB modem does the 42. But in my findings you are lucky to ever get half of a theoritical speed and that's on any cell network.

You don't even need 42mbps... Around 5-6mbps is great for streaming video!
I live in Dallas Texas we suppost to have the 42mbps
but my g2x sometimes when it wants to get 5mbps in downtown dallas where i live
and only one day i got 14mbps
and i called tmobile about my horrible speed they said i havent reached 2gb of data so they assume it has something to do with the tower i was using. ok so i go all around DFW
and i get same speed 2 or 3mbps
so i think is not the tower.
somebody told me that sometimes taking off the battery and wait 5 minutes straight the phone will reset and get rid of all data of towers and start again so i did that to see if my speed was any better and i had no luck so but hey with that horrible speed i can still stream and downloads roms very fast from my phone !!
I get 6-8mbps on "4g" and i'm not really in that big of a city (Virginia beach, VA)

The 42mbs is for the new phones, like the Samsung Hercules or the amaze. Lol they all have different hardware capabilities.

Lol... I know this! My comment was relevant to this being on the g2x which is a 21mbps capable phone and that even if you have a 42mbps device you will prob never see speed that high...

I live in a highrise 10th floor. Tmobile just installed equipment on the roof, so I live 20 feet under the tower lol seriously its true. No changes, 3 to 4 download. I hope they just have not completed the work up there.

Speeds seem to be the same as KK3 but connectivity seems to have gotten better. I live in a 17 story concrete dorm surrounded by other 17 story concrete dorms surrounded by woods in Southern Illinois and I'm getting roughly 1 mb/s download speeds. I cant wait to get back to Chicago to really test this.
Actually my speeds are way faster....all around...4 to 7 down and 1 to 1.5 up....
