skin / player

do anybody know of a music player which looks like this or a skin that makes a player look like this
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25630413/
the link seem to point to a vapourware being that it had no update
and i've yet to see a skin which makes media player display both a playlist and mplay buttons and current song and such
If I recall correctly, there was an application from Visual IT called as Simple i-Tunes for PPC and that is WM compatible...u can try that

PowerAmp, hands down!

I'm guessing you already have noticed the Google Music Widget (not that I would classify it as good)

Only problem with Poweramp is that it isn't free, $5, and while it is probably the best available for Honeycomb I still don't like it. For an expensive app its still missing a lot imo. I love Pure Music Widget on my phone but it doesn't work on Honeycomb. it's the best music widget out there, works with stock music player just provides hundreds of skins and has all the stock sizes with imbedded album art. Been a while since I checked to see if the dev had upgraded it for HC as he had with his calendar widget.
I dont understand why samsung removed the stock honeycomb music player?
the samsung music player doesent have a widget.. + it kills the album art too )
Does anyone have the stock honeycomb music app?
thanks and cheers!
kzoodroid iam gona try pure music widget for the time.. thanks!
Going to look around for the HC Stock music apk
the floating music player is quite good. simple to use, easy to access, no need to exit an app to use.

I don't think there is a stock honeycomb music player. I believe Google Play Music (Google Music) is the closest thing and its in the market. It only has the one 4x1 widget just like Samsungs stock music player and Pure Music Widget doesn't work with it only the stock player.
PlayerPro!
n7player
I use n7player, and it's fantastic. Best looking music player I have seen, and comes with a few widgets to apply to a homescreen.
There's a review here: http://www.reghardware.com/2012/03/20/app_of_the_week_android_n7player/

Simple free music player for Froyo (Android 2.2)

Is there a good free music player that works on our phone with Android 2.2 (Froyo)?
I noticed that the stock music player has to reload the album art everytime, sometimes it gets blocked and rarely mixes up the album art in case 2 albums from different artists have the same name.
I would like the player to be very simple, I just want to listen to music and that's it.
For example I've read many people reccomending the Google Music Player but I need to log into my account and also install a program on my computer to sync music while I normall just transfer music through USB.
Meanwhile i deleted/uninstalled all music or videoaplayers and just and only use the built in player of Total Commander for Android (see signature for download). That's really sinple, stable and plays videos & music of nearly all formats from m3u-lists.
Thanks!
Any other suggestions?
Total commander is the best

Xperia Z3/iTunes Help

Thinking of taking the plunge and leaving Apple and getting a Sony Xperia Z3. Was a close call between that HTC One M8 and LG G3 but PS4 remote play swung it for me.
Anyway, I have a lot of music on my iPhone and from what I read it shouldn't be too hard to switch it over. I was wondering if music and movies purchased on iTunes will work on Android? And also if it's easyish to transfer/recreate playlists from iTunes to Sony's music program?
Lastly, how decent is the walkman on Xperia Z3, is it at least on a par with the music player on the iPhone? Any help would be much appreciated
Please post questions in the Q&A thread

Usually if you download the purchased music onto iTunes it is downloaded into your music folder.
So if you install Media Go, and select your music folder all your playlists and music should be present.
I think there in an import from iTunes options, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Just use android manager and drag files out of iTunes library. It works for me even paid songs are transferable

For music, you can use the google music manager at for your desktop to sync all of your mp3's and playlists to Google Play Music
