Just read that HTC rolled out an official OTA update for the Sensation. It's ICS with Sense 3.6 but this one comes with a new kernel (v3.0.16 to be precise)
Maybe this will be helpful in porting Sense 3.6 a little better. I don't know if this thread is going to be useful, but maybe the Devs can take a look.

Sadly, this will be of absolutely no help to us The kernel is practically useless to us, and since we are porting the ROM from Sensation XL, that is not required too. I hope the Desire S gets the update quick. The end of march and early April dates seem correct as they have been posted more than once. 3 weeks

It would be nice if they would put up a donut roadmap like they did for cupcake, but you've got to wonder if they are being cautious about it due to all the "I want cupcake" crap that was messing up the market.

The upcoming rom from cyanogen dev team gonna get the official name CM9 #1 beta or #1nightly? It's interesting me coz it's my first time to see new rom rolling out from the ota to the best rom by the best devs! I started with the cm7 to the end...
Some users just right to be patience untill a good custom ro by the cm team will get to us with the basics features including root,su & the cwm recovery.
I joining to these users and advice to u to w8 and be patience before messing up with ur greatfull nexus S!

Hi everyone!
The first release of the upcoming CM9 will be called #1 beta or #1 nightly - correct? Its the first time I've seen a non-manuf dev team come out w/ a rom before the manufacturers themselves come out w/ the OTA! Kudos to the CM team.
With that being said, some users are justified in being patient and sticking w/ the time-tested, stable and honored tradition of CM7 until their team releases CM9 w/ all the basic functionality we have come to expect.
I will be joining this group of users until then, and I advise you to do so as well to protect your Nexus from evil gremlins..

Man, this phone is going to smoke after ICS is out. Look how well the Nexus performs despite being considerably less powerful than the GSII (either one).
MIUI Android discovered a key logger on MIUI.us. You can read about it on Twitter. MIUI Android contacted MIUI.us' dev but things got ugly afterwards.

I've posted this exact message on MIUI.us based ROM and the hellraised MIUI/WIUI thread in the i777 forums just in case (because that's my phone).
I don't know if I'm doing it right, this is my first thread here. I just want you guys know about the situation.
The name of the .apk in question is LatinIME. I don't know if any of the MIUI ROMS ports for our phone has that .apk.

Hi! This is my first work for the One S. It is not nothing major, actually it's really small. For now I have only themed the SystemUI, not the whole thing like he_stheone64 did It is based on TrickDroid 4.3, which is the 1.78 base. It should work on that rom, I have no idea how it works on other roms.
Could someone give me a name or something

Just download and decompile my Summer Breeze Theme and you`ll see at least something that might help you.
