Hope someone can help with this as I'm stuck..........
I have apps that show as having updates available in the market, Backbreaker and Be Weather Pro but I can't update them as the Market says I haven't purchased them.
How am I supposed to achieve this?

I recently purchased a HTC Magic and I've been looking at the various themes and keyboard replacements that need betterkeyboards and openhome donate versions. Problem is I cant see those apps on the market. I downloaded a few themes and skins and followed the download link supplied to get the full apps needed but the phone says it can't find the app with the supplied link.
Any idea why I can't see those apps on the market? Is there anywhere I can download the app other than the Android Market? I'm on the Rogers network in Canada if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any help
Ok, I know its just recently been launched, however has anyone successfully tried in-app billing. Tried it in Gun Bros and it said I need to have the latest version of the android market in order to do that. Should I set up something in market or do I just need to wait until Google release an update for the market?
Anybody using this?
I live in Taiwan and now google close the paid apps in market now. We do not know when Google re-open the paid apps in market. Now the new market v3.0.26or v3.0.27 can be download in some android forum. I am not sure the new edition market paid apps can be access by VPN. (I access paid apps by in old vision 2.3.6) May someone know it or ever test it?
Hello,
I have a question about apps not downloaded or purchased directly from the market. I sometimes use Getjar to get some apps for my Skyrocket and the Market does not see these as purchased. However, when I link the app to the market using root tools, it does come up as an update is available. However, I can't update from Market because it tells me I did not purchase the app.
Is there a way to do this? If not, how to I keep the app updated?
Thanks,
You need to purchase it to update through the market. Otherwise you have to wait until someone uploads the latest .APK file to getjar.
I use getjar to test apps to see how much I like them. However, the updates on certain apps when they are released are important to me and I usually do not like waiting. So if I download an app from getjar and really like it I will then fork over the money in the Market so I can get the updates when they are released.
Getjar and Amazon

I would agree with this and will start doing this. Yes, I do like to download from here to test the apps to make sure I like them. I don't like to wait around for updates and I still can't get Getjar to identify ANY of my apps from them. Never had been able to update. I still get the stupid facebook link. I don't want a facebook account.
I also with NEVER buy an app from Amazon again. They take their sweet time to post an update. They state they "check" the updates for approval prior to being posted. That's crap. Will stick to market then. Thanks.
so my google play market has updated again and with this new verison 3.5.15 all the apps that i've have had broken the market link to have been relinked to the market and when i try and break the market link again it says that it can't connect to the market DB. which i believe is to the new update of the market to version 3.5.15. So does anyone have any ideas or know of a fix.
i was using mybackup pro with mytoolbox to break the market link,,, it is the newest version of the apps.
From reading the comments of the developer of Ti Backup, I don't think there is anything that can be done with Play Store v3.5.15 and the market links. The new version of the market changes the way the links are created/stored and Ti Backup can not control it. The only way to solve this, if you want to control the links in the market, is to go back to the last known working version. Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the market from self-updating, without having root access. I have created a patched version you can find here:
