I can't send emails with my FIT, RazoDroid+v1, based on GB 2.3.4 with baseband XWKT3 (Europe). To receive emails is no problem, and the installation at beginning worked well, the ports are set ok. When I will try to send, I get an error / force close like "process com.android.email stopped".
Can somebody give me a link für a working email.apk / europe?
PS.: K9-Mail works without any probs and it is based on "original" email.apk. What can be the error?
PS.: Thread can be deleted, all other custom ROMs running well with email - and I'm now at Vish's CM-7.2.0-RC0.

I had copied phone.apk and mms.apk in other's ROM to my phone (based on CM 7.0)
but it shows rocess com.android.acore FC, and process com.android.mms FC,
so i think maybe it is incompatibility,
How to solve this problem?
that is to say, How to revise it (phone.apk and mms.apk) to adapt to my rom?
I am sorry my English is not good.
Samsung Vibrant + 2.2 Froyo/Axura 2.3.1.3 Custom ROM + GoSMSPro 3.31
Whenever I try to attach audio to an MMS, it errors out with "Unexpected error" and wants to send a debug email to the GoSMS developers.
Anyone else having this issue?
Please use pre existing threads http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860847
On that note thread closed.
I've installed this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426590
And I can't get native email 3.0 to work anymore. When I try to log into my e-mail account it says "Retrieving account information..." then after about 60 seconds it will say "Connection failed". Anyone know how to fix this? I've been searching for the past week now.
Edit:
I posted this in the wrong forum by mistake. Mods please delete as I have reposted in the correct section. Thank you!
Hi everybody,
I'm looking for a solution to create a local account for the calendar 2.3.7 installed with the ROM Democracy Final CM7.
Before this ROM, I used the ROM StockLite v7.1 which offers the possibility to use a local account for its calendar 2.3.6
I've tried many attempts :
- I've extracted the files calendar.apk and calendarprovider.apk from stocklite.zip to the folder home/system/app and have put the adequate permission. This attempt failed (calendar 2.3.6 can't be executed).
- I've tested alternative calendars (aCalendar, Jorte Calendar, MonCalendrier Free) and all of them requires a "cloud account" (maybe because CM7 don't offers a local one).
- I saw this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871053 but Calendar Manager is only for Android 4+.
Do you have any idea or solution for this situation?
It is unbelievable that we have to connect to the web in order to use a calendar!
Thank you in advance.
Hi
I'm not allowed to post in the developer threads, so i post this here.. i have no idea how many posts i need to post here before i am allowed to speak like a person :\
Anyways, running fusionjack's latest slimsaber rom, SlimSaber-i9100-4.3.1-20131127, i found a possible bug, if i try to send an MMS message with a file attachement, mms crashes
( Unfortunately, the process com.android.mms has stopped )
this happens after the attachement is chosen and i press send
can anyone confirm?
regards, mike
