What file you are using to update? RUU.exe or PG88IMG.zip?
What was your hboot version?

Use PG88IMG.zip update instead of RUU... That solve this problem for me...

[Q] Help regarding installation of custom roms.....

hiii,
i m really confused on how to install the custom rom (Elegancia ICS with sense 4 v3.2.1). I have a htc sensation with stock ICS (3.33.702.6 and sense 3.6) in its pure form i.e no root etc. If anyone can provide me a tutorial or video tutorial that will be great. Looking forward for your kind help.

Hi,
I gave you that link,because it allows you to flash custom ROMS,without being s-off.
The [OP] of the ROM you have selected,will have all the details about what is working,and what is not.
Please read BOTH carefully,and follow the instructions given.

Which Custom ROM with HTC sense 4 would u suggest to install in HTC Sensation with FW-3.33.720.6(current) with high stability , performance and without any bugs. Your suggestion would be a great help.

Hiii,
I just want to know ur opinion on the best custom ROM with sense 4 available , according to my search I found Elegancia good. I m actually new to all this so I m a bit cautious as I don't want my phone to get damaged anyway.

Hi,
It is unlikely that you will damage your phone by flashing a ROM.
The worst that can happen,is you will get an error.
So,flash away to your heart's content.

genie for the time being u just need the follow to install custom rom on ur fone
1. unlock bootloader
2.flash recovery
3.flash root files
4.flash custom rom
U DONT NEED THIS BELOW THING
5. S-off
6.CID ..etc etc

if hav installed the custom rom and now i m stuck in the bootloop.

If you installed CWM recovery you need to flash "boot.img" after you flashed the rom you have chosen. (you can get this file out from the ZIP file. I think it's in the Kernel folder) Or if you installed the 4EXT recovery, under the settings enable "smartflash" before installing the rom. That will do the job for you! Have a look in this thread as well: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861

first confirm if u have unlocked the bootloarder properly
put the token properly as shown in the demo screen at htc dev webpage

as he has succesfully installed custom rom then he surely has unlocked bootloader

you think ? what exactly did you do !!! step by step details please. You have a one xl ? if so why would you use cwm ?
where you on 2.20 when you rooted ? what command did you execute while in fastboot ? did you try to fastboot flash your boot.img ??

Did you root ?
If so with what method ?
What recovery was installed ?
did you attempt to flash a custom rom
in fastboot what is the version of your hboot ?
what happens when you try to reboot in recovery ??

It doesn't seem as if English is his best language be a little more gentle with him.... Now if you have the tegra one x you shouldn't be here your in the wrong forum and if that's true the reason I don't think it should of flashed correctly but that kernel is for ours.

Just get into bootloader relock it run a ruu that is for your phone and run it...youll be back on stock.

He said he has a one x so I'm guessing it's an international version

It should be able to charge still I can't really help you I'm not familiar with the tegra one x....you should be well informed of what you're doing before you do stuff... You have the tegra one x right? It was a quad core?

yes i have tegara one x
when i put the charger it works direct in fastboot
now i relock it to use ruu
but the batry is low

You can find RUUs at http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Pico
Otherwise it is very difficult to find RUUs for our phone ever since HTC RUU got closed.

[Firmware] 6.09.401.5 Latest firmware without red warning! No wipe

Here is the newest firmware for HTC One M7 without the red warning on Hboot. I did not change anything but removed the texts.
I created this thread because Google now requires the texts "Powered by Android" on new phones/firmwares, and the red warning overlaps it (as shown in the attachment below). This makes the screen ugly, so I removed the texts to beautify the screen.
Note: This firmware will not wipe your device. If anything goes wrong that your device is bricked, I am not responsible for that. Before uploading a new version, I always test it on my own HTC One.

The red warning texts are removed if u want to keep them, u can still download the original firmware at Vomer's Guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506)
