[Q] Don't know what happens to my tf101 - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was installing revolver 4 rom and my restore wasn't working I was using titanium back up pro it was saying something bout su and to reboot and I did like a few times so I reinstall the rom and now I can't get out of recovery when I reboot it takes me right back I tried installing a new recovery and it still on this recovery the recovery am using is clockwork mod v5.5.0.4 I need help can some one help me

the thing about titanium backup does not matter you can just skip past it or hit cancle it works either way. the official CWM 5.xxx by Kouch is bugged and does not work. use team rouge's recovery it is also based on 5.xxx but it works.

[Q] Flashed the wrong Clockworkmod recovery to Huawei U8150

Hi,
I got my Huawei U8150 two days ago and I rooted it with z4root . Then I wanted to backup the original ROM before removing some stock apps.
So I installed ROM Mgr 2.5.1.2 and flashed the ClockworkMod recovery 2.5.0.1. When I tried to backup my current ROM, I rebooted to a black screen .
Eventually I found the 1.8.1.4 recovery image should be used in another forum .
Question => How to reflash 2.5.0.1 with 1.8.1.4? I tried in ROM Mgr but got an error.
Many thanks in advance.
Same Problem
Did you find any solution. I also flashed clockworkmod version 2.5.0.7 using Huawei pulse mini option. ROM Manager v3.0.0.7
Now when I go to recovery mode my phone has black screen. No recovery screen.
Please respond how to get my stock recovery back
Flash a stock Ideos Rom. Its recovery will replace yours
Sent from my DJDroid Ideos v0.4 using XDA App
Dear eidolon88.
Thanks for your prompt response. You people are really great. I have found stock ROM on xdadevelopers wiki website.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Huawei_U8150_IDEOS#Official_ROMs
Is this right?
And can you recommend the guide for flashing ROM. Because I don't have access to Recovery menu.
OK. I'm stuck too. I just installed RomManager v3.0.0.9 with ClockWorkMod v2.5.0.7 for Pulse Mini. Now I cannot boot into recovery. Recovery boot just shows a T-Mobile Logo. Actually, I was making a mistake here and booting into the bootloader. When I booted correctly into recovery I got a black screen. I receive an error when I try to install anything under All CWM Recoveries. So far the phone still boots normally.
If I could locate a working CWM version then I could use the following hack to force install it.
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-3-using-rom-manager/
Anyone know of a working ClockWorkMod version for the U8150?
Update:
I found a fix by installing the modified Koush's Clockwork Recovery 1.8.1.4 for Pulse Mini via Linux Terminal and ADB here:
http://android.modaco.com/content/t...lling-a-custom-recovery-image-on-your-device/
Now I can boot from RomManager v3.0.0.9 into ClockWorkMod v1.8.1.4 or boot into recovery via 'vol up + green send + power' even though RomManager says CWM is v2.5.0.7.
Update:
Using the setup in the previous update I was able to successfully backup the current ROM with apps and data to SD using RomManager v3.0.0.9 and ClockWorkMod 1.8.1.4.

[Q] Numerous issues: Boots straight to recovery, won't flash new roms...

I sent my transformer in to Asus because the screen did not turn on anymore. I just received it back and am having an assortment of issues:
1. If I boot it up normally, it books straight into clockworkmod recovery. The only way to boot into the normal system is to go into Asus recovery and cancel wiping data.
2. If I try to flash a new rom in recovery, it just resets the aokp rom that I currently have on there. I also tried flashing new recoveries from Rom Manager, and it says they were successfully flashed, but it is always the same recovery when it restarts.
I have tried fixing permissions, doing a wipe in Asus recovery, doing a complete wipe in CWM recovery, putting the update.zip on the root of the SD card (it doesn't detect it)...I am really at a loss here. The tablet is definitely rooted and I confirmed busybox was installed. Any ideas?
if you can NVFlash something. And try using gnufabio's recovery installer instead of rom manager

HELP! possible brick after installing TWRP recovery

After installing openscript recovery TWRP 2.2.1 via goo manager and then realize the recovery could not mount system or install any zip. I then try to revert back to team rogue xm recovery 1.5.0 with sucess by installing the recovery zip in TWRP (although some error due to system unable to mount). Got pretty happy that I'm able to revert back to rogue recovery but now faces this STUCK in automatic rebooting to recovery everytime I've try to reboot. I wipes everything completed 3x and install new rom but can't ever boot pass the recovery. I have yet to revert back to stock via softbrick method and figure I should ask for help first before unroot and unlock to start from scratch. below is an image of when ever I booted my xoom. Thanks for any help.
Oh, I've search first but noon seem to have the same problem as mine.

It probably didn't flash a kexec recovery. Just boot into recovery and flash a non kexec ROM ...hopefully you have one sitting on your SD card. If not your have to get one there or dd a kexec recovery with adb and reboot with the ROM you currently have installed
I guess he can't even get into recovery, as he said all he sees is wallpaper. He used TWRP recovery, which is NOT Kexec enabled. In order to flash CM, you needed to flash CWM 6.0.1.0. Now, basically your only choice is to either adb the cwm recovery, or just reflash stock using odin (easier option), flash cwm, then reinstall CM.

It's odd his recovery won't open I wonder if goo flashed the incorrect version.

hi peeps, i really have a problem right now with my one s, i upgraded my supersu to supersu pro, after that i restarted my phone and now my one s keeps booting into clockworkmod, even i select reboot system now still boot in to clockworkmod. help please dont know what to do...
anybody please help me...
guys,i reallyneed help, my phone dont turn off anymore when i press power button it keeps turning backon to CWM. i try to restore it with my backup viperones but same results still booting into CWM.:crying:
Relax. You aint getting help faster just because you constantly bump the thread. Usually it has quite the opposite effect.
Use twrp recovery instead of cwm, its much better than cwm. Try full wipe, or reinstall OS (system).

The phone bootlooping into CWM normally means your ROM is messed up. Also the One S isn't supported by CWM so you should really stop using it since it has bugs that haven't been and never will be fixed. Switch to TWRP.
If your lucky you can boot into CWM and wipe cache and the davlik cache and that will let you back into the rom.
If you're not lucky you need to flash the ROM again and fastboot flash the boot.img for the rom.
