[Q] LED flashes green at start up? - Motorola Atrix 2

I'm using SCv5 update2, everything was normal till yesterday, when my Atrix 2 booted up, after turning off the screen, the LED notification automatically flashed green light with no reason
Then I found a temporary solution: change auto brightness or ring style, but at the next start up, it happens again >"<

Nandroid restored sv5.2, install zip stock theme, Titanium Backup restore app and data, the problem was gone.
But still don't know what caused the LED problem =))))

Led notification function on Atrix 2 is sucks...
Just for missed calls, unread mess and ... no more. Any Led controlling softwares can't use.
I've installed Viber and sometime red led is on, maybe Viber checks sthing on server and makes notices for user. I don't know for sure.

It's not the A2's fault...
SC comes preloaded with the app "Light Flow" which allows you to customize the notification LED's colors and when it flashes, etc. I had no use for it and I did notice the LED light misbehaving... after an uninstallation all LED light problems were gone.

[REQ] Blink LED for notifications for more than 5 minutes

It's really bothersome on the EVO how LED notifications only flash for 5 minutes then stop. Would love an app that creates its own LED notification and flashes it indefinitely until viewed. I know there are other notification apps on the market, but I'd prefer one that doesn't try to create other notifications (in the bar, pop-up, etc.). Something that JUST does LED, so I can then turn LED off in Settings, would be preferable.
Also would be nice to disable the LED while charging, or to be able to interrupt it, but I have a feeling this couldn't be done through the SDK.

I'm glad you posted this gripe, I have always wondered how long it will blink the LED but never thought to stop and time the LED- I would always clear whatever alert out of habit.

I would love for someone to be able to figure out how to do that. Its just too damn bright if you are using the phone while its charging and the lights are out (for example using it as an ereader.)
I would like the LED to flash while charging for notifications, does anyone know what colors the EVO's LED can actually flash besides red, green, and orange?
I also would REALLY enjoy all of the previously noted requests. But I'd rather not root my Evo just yet...would it still be possible? (like, could this possibly just be an app?)

LiquidSmooth 4.2.2 LED problem

I just installed the new Liquidsmooth and i seem to have an LED problem. When i get a text the screen comes on and the LED flashes then when the screen turns off the LED stops flashing. Is there a fix to this? I tried to go into the system settings then display then Notification Light and setting a custom one to Go sms but same thing happens.
Thanks!

I haven't seen that problem yet. Is the app you're having trouble with just goSMS or is it other apps too?
Same

I am experiencing the same issue on the GS3 for AT&T. This would be very nice to have fixed

[Q] Notification LED suddenly stopped working as it should

All of a sudden the notification LED as stopped blinking whenever I receive a whatsapp message or even a facebook notification.
To check whether the link was damaged itself,I installed light flow and after setting a specific non-white color for an activity , it just blinks with a somewhat-white light.
What exactly is the problem ?
Just performed the LED Test using Light Flow and these were the colors I saw
white
red
pink
purple
blue
LED seems to be working..then is this some 4.4.2 bug ?

Have you tried rebooting? I know it's a silly question but I've had a few instances where the LED doesnt notify me and a reboot solves the issue. It's not a persistent thing tho so it doesnt bother me. I tend to reboot my phone at least 2 times a day
Thanks for the response!
The problem was linked with Hangouts app. After it was updated, all LED notifications stopped working so I cleared its data. Now everything is fine

[REQ] Multiple Notifications Using Notification Light

I have an idea for a useful app/mod/xposed module that would allow the notification light to indicate notifications from multiple apps at the same time. For instance: I have a text message, which normally flashes white(ish), and then I get an email, which normally flashes red. With both notifications being present at the same time, instead of the light only flashing the color of the most recent notification (red in this case), it would flash white once, then red once, pause, then white, red, pause, etc. Three notifications would flash a sequence of the three respective colors.
Being able to customize the colors and timing per app is not necessarily important to me, but probably wouldn't be difficult at the already required level of control anyway, and I'm sure several people appreciate that option with current mods.
TL;DR
App/mod to make notification LED blink all active notifications instead of just most recent.
So, what do you all think?
If I had the programming knowledge and time, I would certainly write this myself and share, but I do not
There is such a xposed modul or even app I had something like that and I had other colours for apps for egz Facebook had blue light SMS got orange and Gmail got red and if I recive Gmail and SMS my led was blinking orange and red so there is nothing new you can search for this

Oh is this fairly recently? I thought about this a while ago but never got around to posting until now.. I haven't looked for it since then
Try using light manager in the play store. You can customize the order of lights

Yes, settings -> display and there should be notification led or notification light. For me it is the last entry but I have german language.
But it uses only 3 colors.
I tryed to change the color for text messages but if i chose another color the notofication led would not show any reaction.
Ok thanks.
But it works only when the phone is not connected to the charger.
Hi,
As far as I know, LED colors are : green, red, yellow some people manage to get white, I didn't.
You can use Lightmanager to deal with the LED. It's working.
You can also use the builtin led notification in some apps like Handcent, WhatsApp ...
Whith the EMUI notification, I only manage to get green.
Indeed when the phone is charging, the charging notification is shown and no other notifications can be displayed.
My notification led doesn't work when I get notifications from facebook or facebook messenger, although notification led is turned on in settings and is also turned on in facebook app.
I'm not sure but I thought it worked in the beginning. I've tried light manager to change the color for various notifications and now i don't get the led to flash when I get facebook / facebook messenger notifications (I'm not sure if it worked before I tried light manager).
I've also tried a factory reset of my honor 6, but still the led doesn't blink. With whatsapp and other notifications, the led works.
Can somebody confirm this problem or can somebody confirm that the led works normal with facebook at his honor 6?
Any solution suggestions for this problem?
I've got an H60-L04, original with EMUI 3.0, not rooted
