I recently followed a guide to root my samsung galaxy ace some how something went wrong i had to use odin to put software bck on so now im stuck on froyo 2.2.1 when i was originally on 2.3.5 or around there can anyone help sort it out pleaseeeeeeee ?????

Ok...I managed to figure it out.
I initiated the phone in download mod and used odin to root with the right kernel version!

I am completely new at this and wanted to find out how exactly to root a Samsung Galaxy s2. I have read around forums and one says one thing and the other says something help. Can you help me. Can you root it through the stock kernel or do you need another one and how do you get it with no yellow triangle (without a USB Jig). Then how exactly do you put a rom on and super user. Also how do you remove root and the rom if you want to go back to stock. Thank you any help appreciated.
