its right there man, on the market.
it's definitely one of the best xperia play-optimized games and one of the best android games on the market overall.
I love the rpg aspect and the rampant action/platforming....very fun
I have yet to try multiplayer so if you grab it post your username!
I bought it yesterday. I have'nt had chance to play it yet. Looks good though!
I can't find it too on my list.. Found it thru searching.. My niece and nephew will like this for sure..

I think it's one of the most impressive android games ever
This game is addicting! It kinda vaguely reminds me of the original mario bros, or the battle mini game on Super Mario Bros 3 as some might remember it as.
My openfeint name is the same as on here..except with a 2 on the end..
I'm loving it too, just like their guerilla bob before..
I love the ninja kitty and the cyclops ability, I dont like the frog and the monkey..
I just bought it and it looks stunning and is certainly addictive!
Is there a way to stick with a character? i'm finding it quite hard or is it just because i'm new?!
Also, seeing as its cross platform, us Play owners must destroy those pesky iphone owners! I love Angry Mob games
It's sad how my ipod can get the game for 0.99 while I have to pay 2.99 for the android version
Anyway, I could go forever using cyclops alone.. Love the bird too...
But for some reason I hate it when my character turns into the bull.. Even though it's the last character..

We should start an openfeint thread, where people can post there usernames. If we add eachother it will be easer for people to play other people with xperia plays online

It just happens for some reason..Angry Birds is free on Android but .99 on iPhone.
I also suspect that this game would be INSANE hard on touch controls, hence the price reduction?

Lvl 50 is the max level, but you can continue playing to upgrade your characters and to add life..
hopefully they will update this game to add new map.
So we've always known that it showed up in the Xperia PLAY Game Launcher... but it was always an unanswered "why?" because the game certainly wasn't Xperia PLAY Optimized for any firmware.
Just got a tip from a user on my site that it is, and should be added to my database. As always, I like to test myself before adding anything, but I've tried to install it three times to get to a situation where it FC's every time I get past the intro video.
Can anyone confirm if RR2's updates made it work with Xperia PLAY controls?

I have been playing this game off and on for some time and unless its been updated and I have not updated it it has worked with the game controls for me. In my opinion I would say its definately optimized...
Oh and TL.... glad you like Iruna.
There was pad support in 1 version but an old one. Have been trying to track it down for ages. The newer versions come up in launcher but none of the controls work. If anyone finds which version please let me know

I am using Real Racing 2 version 1.0.2 I am able to use the hardware controls.

Hmm... having trouble finding that version. I found a lot of Reckless Racing v1.0.2, but Real Racing 2's version numbering scheme makes it hard to pinpoint that one. Mind sharing your apk for Real Racing 2? Since it's a free-to-try game, I'm gonna try to make it real easy and convenient for everyone by making what would link to the market on my site send them straight to the confirmed working APK.

This is happening to me as well. It shows up in the Launcher but it is not optimized which is weird.

You know what, I must apologize, it is reckless racing 2.. My apologies. Thats what I get for replying to this stuff while at work....

Are you guys @ jgregoryj1, TLRtheory talking about the paid version or the free version? Because the free version is not optimized. Plays just like it does on my ipod lol.
I was playing this a few weeks ago on my skiing trip and I can confirm it is Xperia Play Optimised. I was using the left and right directional buttons to steer my car and I was using the L button to brake just like on the first game.
Edit: I have the paid version and have never tired the free version.

I just reinstalled the app and its version 1.0.2
On the what's new bit when viewing on the play shop it says "fixed Xperia play controls". I bought this app from the play shop a while ago.
The buttons only work when racing though as the menus are made for the touch screen.

as the game itself have great smooth graphics
and the physics seem really good but it plays crap

Bought this yesterday, it is awesome. THe touchpads works so well and the graphics are bright and crisp and clean. Sat down to play it for a couple minutes, 45 minutes later I was like" oh crap". Really a fun game. And I cannot stress how nice the touchapds work, THe dev did a seriouslt good job with the programming for touchpads. I prefer this to Dungeon Hunter series.....

Mine is in English, did you get our from the PLAY store? I am aware there is another version for all android phones but its in Korean.

Not going to comment on the warez part, the game itself is 1.99 on the PLAY store and in my opinion is totally worth it. And not that its a big deal but currently this game is Xperia PLAY exclusive on the market. You want english and Xperia support I highly recommend supporting the developer of the game and buying it, it really is a fun game and @ 1.99 is a steal already (you see that....pun..)

Do you think you can do a gameplay video for it? I just want to see it physically running before I buy it. As it is I may buy it anyways, just want to be sure because I only have 6.85 on my prepaid card atm..and was thinking of getting an.rcon app for my admin duties for my gaming clan.

I do have the screencast app, I can use that to record what I am playing. But be advised that the screencast app makes anything you do on the phone look al ittle laggy. Trust me this game flies.... and with nice graphics to boot. IF people really want to see it let me know and I can do a quick video of it and post a link here. If others have played it please post your thoughts on it as well.
The game boots really fast. Surprisingly I didnt see any lag considering the high graphic and effects etc even if your phone is OC or not.
Imo the only missing feature right now is multiplayer.

I agree. Multiplayer would be awesome and is the only thing missing..
So i went back to gingerbread today and I have to say this is one of the best games to come out for some time. I was wondering why i was getting lag spikes and it installed on my sd, moved to phone,no lag at all and it only has a 1.3mb size!

UPDATE (sorry for long waiting, I was in holiday-house): 29.07.2012 - for now this game dissapeared without any information from Square Enix.....I don't know why, so Moderator - please close this thread for now, maybe something will change, but it's preety strange that the exclusive game, working good etc., one moment and it's gone.
UPDATE 30.07.2012: And what next? After one day of last update there is again! The game appeared again on Play Store, get it before Square Enix delete it again without any info . Yeah we heard this was still coming and found it on store few hours ago. Does not play bad for £0.99 full Touch pad support but could be better looking. This game was to be released last year so understand its not up to date quality. Still Tomb Raider of sorts on Android so cant be a bad thing

Yep, got the same message. T-Mobile USA. Android 4.0.3
It's working fine in the UK on my r800i but some videos were "missing". Graphics are ok too (not console quality) and game plays quite well.

Yeah same here I've got the r800i as well. I got a error message about videos but the game runs fine. It's enjoyable !

Awesome find! I just started playing it and finished the first level and it seems like a really solid game (never played it on iOS or 360 since I hate both mediums), my only complaint would be a pretty slow frame-rate (maybe its running at 30? Or a little bit lower) but the frame-rate is consistent and I got used to it very quickly. Also, when pressing X to skip a tip screen or tutorial bit my character jumped which was irritating but now I just press the screen to end a tip.
This game is exclusive for Sony Xperia devices !

I got it as well, Pretty good, had a couple hiccups while playing but nothing too bad. Graphics are ok, but I've seen much better on this device. Videos work find for me, and you really can't beat the price at only $1.29! Overall I'd say its a definite buy!
Glad I didn't buy it in the Steam summer sale! Loved the PS3 version, can't wait to try it on my phone!

I found it by accident. I was trying to find another game like air attack and found this one. Looked at not thinking much then saw it said xperia play optimized. I didn't see it on your site unless I missed it, then posted it here.
If anything we all should be thanking you. I just come across them every so often. You have a reply deducted website that you maintain and a majority of the time when I come across a game you have beaten me to it. But its all good man.
