A few days ago, my Galaxy R died. No boot, no charge, just APX mode. I saw this post and I'm trying to fix it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528256
I installed the drivers, and selected the Option 1: GTI9103 Dead Repair. But it get stuck at "Flashing fastboot image... Nvflash Started" and nothing else happens.
Any ideas?

Please tell me i didnt ruin this phone..
you are in download mode, at this mode you can connect to odin or heimdall to get you out of that trouble you are in
thats volume down + home + power
try volume up + home + power to get into recovery....
read up on flashing here so you can be guided to revive it. don't worry your phone is far from bricked
nothing happens when i press volume up, just the loading little white circle thingy it goes off and comes back on.. What do you mean odin ?
anyone please? Been looking for hours this is ******
Would this guide work ? Section B ?

Hello man.. you should first switch off ur phn . and remove battery.....
And then stwith battery and in switch off mode, press the middle button and then while holding the middle button press power on button..
As soon as samsung logo appears qickly remove hands from middle and power button and you will boot up in cwm v5..
If you donot boot then you have to first flash android 2.3.6 again and the cwm v5..
press thanks button if i helped you..
Hi All,
I recently updated my phone's BL and CP using Odin since I wanted to update my version of Superman rom to the latest. I think I might have done it in the wrong order though? (flashed bootloader before attempting to update firmware)
My phone is now stuck on the Samsung logo with the "Recovery is not seaandroid enforcing" at the top. I can get it to restart by holding the Vol Down + Power button but can't get it into Recovery / Download Mode it just keeps rebooting into the samsung logo!! I tried a quick Vol Down + Power followed by Vol Down + Power + Home but it doesn't work and keeps going back to the samsung logo
Is there any other way I can get this to boot into download mode so that I can flash an older version of the bootloader using odin?

Press (Vol up + Vol down + Power button) and when screen goes off quickly press (Vol down + Home button + Power button). Repeat the process until you see the green screen! It worked for me.

One hour later I got this damn thing into Download Mode!! Phew...
I just kept the Vol Down + Power + Home buttons pressed while it kept rebooting itself (I was letting go of the buttons and pressing them again when I saw the screen turn off which wasn't working)
Not sure why the latest BL bricked my phone?! I've flashed one version before and it's now working again.

If you are using PH* bootloader and trying to root the system, you should only use TWRP 3.0.2.3 and best choice would be SuperSU 2.76.. Glad to hear it booted up at last!
So far I've yet to see someone truly brick an S7 since you'd need to replace the bootloader and it wont even flash a new bootloader until it's fully transfered and verified. So no worries there should always be a way out.
you can always go back to stock via Smartswitch and Rescue option.... all you need is your modelnumber and S/N.....
Phew, just went through the same problem, thanks a lot for help, guys!
I rooted my phone yesterday, so today i wanted to install twrp, but when i turn off my phone and tried to go unto recovery menu the logo just turn green and and the screen went black. I tried to start the download mode but is no answer, so i thought that the phone was bricked, but when is bricked you can access to the recovery mode, all i can do is press volume-down + power-btn and there i got the samsung turn on logo but then i have the same green logo and the black screen again.
Somebody can help me pls!!!
Try this: Connect usb with pc. Hit volume down + power button till screen goes on and at the same time screen goes on release power button and hit and hold volume up and down button, this should get you into download mode and flash stock firmware with odin
follow this guide to root it https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/samsung-a30s-sm-a307fn-twrp-and-root.4304119/post-85928519
