partition sdcard using cwm recovery into a 1024MB ext4 partition.
Download and run Link2SD and set the ext4 partition as internal memory.
how to set the ext4 partition as internal memory??when i open link2sd i get message to set 2nd partition....i set first partition to 1024mb..
Go to recovery/advance and partion your sd card (1024 mb is recommended), now set swap value as 128mb.... when all done go to mount section and mount data, sd card, sd-ext and system.... now mount usb stortage and connect your phone to computer and copy Ungaze Script file.

Hey i can understand your exitement. But memory hack has a drawback. Once you install memory hack on any rom,all your apps data(only data not apps)gets erased,and you cant restote that data even by titanium backup.
i hve partitioned my sd card bt nt installed ungazed script. so hw shud i install it???
i m runnin on creed's rom 1.7..

Firstly i wanna know wats d benefit of a2sd and sd partition when we can already move apps 2 sd card without any sd partition on a rooted phone....
N second hw cn i remove sd partition or sd ext from my sd card..it doesnt evn show up in my pc via usb...

moving apps to sd-ext isnt as helpful as dalvik cache to sd-ext... i just left it at that.
to remove sd-ext using windows, open disk management and delete all the partitions and create a new single partition.

For remove I use USB adapter for an SD Card. Install on Windows Mini Tool Partition Wizard Home and deleting partition or create new partitions on the SD Card.
Or you can simply partition using ClockWorkMod Recovery....
Its easy and fast.....
Make sure you take a backup of your data before partitioning, cause it will probably get erased.....
try using free paragon partition manager. I used it to remove ext partition.

i have SD Card wich have 8gb memory .. but after i partion it to use the link2SD app with the CWM.. now its only have 5,37 gb
can i get this back to 8 gb?

i think i have to do that in the TWRP ?
i'm now on: Advanced/Partition SD Card
i can change:
EXT Size: 512
and
Swap Size:32
and i can choose: EXT3 or EXT4
or I have to do it differently?

i connected my phone as mass storage on my computer
i used MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition 7.6 to delete the partition and create a new one.
Finish disconnect the phone from pc.
On my phone shows error that the SD Card cant be scanned and have to format
I format it and get 7.39 gb i thinks thats normal that i dont have exactly 8 gb
Currently I have ext partition size of 512 MB can i increase it to 1GB ? Do I have to flash the ROM again.

No need to flash ROM
backup all data from ext-partition as well as primary partition
Use MiniTool Partition manager on PC.
connect your mobile via usb.
and resize the partition using MiniTool.
unplug your device and reboot it. Link2sd will create mount script for your resized partition.
Use fat32 or ext2

you already have a external partition.
If you delete that partition from recovery that memory space will remain unallocated (useless)
It is preferred to partition it from a PC
Am having some problems partitioning in PC.
Partitioning in Recovery mode is the same thing?

first you delete which partition you have ext partition then create extended (1gb) partition.
Can you tell me how in the Recovery mode.I have a ext partition of 512MB in a 4GB card.

Boot into recovery mode -> Select advanced -> select partition SD card-> select 1024mb and swap 512 (or) 0.
wait and some time...
thats it.
first backup ur full data , because it will erase ur card fully.

My i9003 galaxy SL internal memory is damage or bricked and I managed to tweak vold.fstab and use my external sd card as internal my problem is how can I flash a custom rom on it? my external sd card is already detected as internal sd.. any idea how to flash a custom rom? Hi, thanks for the reply so there's a possibility to flash it with custom rom right? but my problem is you can only update in clockworkmod through sd card and it will actually pop up cant mount sd card because i already swap my external sd as internal sd. I hope there will be an option choose zip in internal sd card anyone here can give a guide how to update the rom without sd card? TIA

custom rom only flash the system partiton and kernel image. so int sd would affected. i think.
and the cwm having option to choose zip fom int sd.

i use cfroot come with bam kernel, verion 5.0.2.8
in option intall zip from sdcard, there are option to choose zip from sdcard and choose zip from internal sdcard.
in you condition, the mmcblk1 (ext sd) now is mmcblk0 (int sd) right?
and you have make 3 partitions in your ext sd to act as int sd for your data partition right?
so, in android, if you copy zip file to you sdcard which is mounted in windows, it will located at mmcblk0p1, that is emmc partition of the cwm.
and you can flash it in option choose zip from internal sdcard
Those are the theory i can think about, cause my phone still having the mmcblk0 and mmcblk1, hence i cant test to proof it.
so in the cwm fstab,

edit, in my understanding, (i still a noob), due to partition assignment for the android, external sd is set to be mmcblk1 and mmcblk1p1, so now the external sd is mmcblk0, it have no more hardware to call mmcblk1. hence, not possible to make a extra partition in mmcblk0 as external sd. except mod the kernel and android setting to change mmcblk1p1 to mmcblk0p4.

Are you able to reboot to recovery?
If so, just copy a custom rom to your sd card (cm9 I'd recommend) and browse it in cwm.
Flash the zip file and it should be done.
This should most probably work but still if you face any difficulty then,
Flash a stock rom via odin and then flash a custom rom via cwm.

i just have install a xperia deroid z rom and acording to its installation process i partitioned the sdcard to make ext partition of 1gb which is to be used as internal memory now.........(in app manager internal memory is shown 1gb).......the problem i am facing right now is that my phone ie htc explorer is not detected by pc , in other words the option to mount usb storage is not shown in phone .....this problem only occurs when i install a rom which requires ext partitions .....like miui 3.8 xxx ......
however i try to mount sdcard using a card reader and i is mounted normally as expected .............
plz suggest me some help..................

u can try this:
put your sd card on card reader.
remove any sd ext partition u created..
format it..
you use any partition wizard create a new sd ext
flash the rom.
create partition thru recovery, it'll work fine.
