hi all
i bought this kind of tablet : RK2918 9.7inch Tablet-Pc. a few days ago and there some few thing i need your help with.
1. the tablet come with an separate charge and when i put him on the my computer he doesn't charge the tablet (unlike other tablets), why it that? is there a way to make it charge from my PC also?
2.when i connected the tablet to my PC he didn't find the drivers, where can i find the right drivers from this tablet?
3.the most annoying problem i see in the internet that most of the store sell this tablet with android 4.0 on them. but my tablet come with 2.3.1 android, can any one send me a link to a upgrade? or any kind of assistance for this problem....

Is it the NEWMAN A1 or CHUWAI V9? If so I have this tablet updated to 4.03 and I can probably help you
The only forum that is active on the internet is in Russian.
Google 4PDA and the model you have and then click on google translate all of the firmware and tools are on this page. Challenger 77 was gracious enough to translate this info to me.

I recently purchased an android 2.1 tablet pc-mid-10.2"touch screen-arm 11-telechips 8900-800 MHZ-256MB-4G wifi-G-sensor from a website that imported from an chinese distributor. It arrived with very little and vague set-up information so I'm having a hard time trying to get it up and going, this being the first time using a tablet device. Also not being that familiar with the set-up procedure. I have a wireless network in my home and I will be working from my PC. Can someone please help me with the installation or steer me in the right direction to find the help that I need.

Hi hopefully this is the right forum. I searched existing posts but could not find anything. I have a NATPC M013rtb tablet which I am havinng issues with ICS as in a bug with TTS so wont read books allowed or default to any other installed TTS. As this is a chinese laptop and just branded NATPC. How do I actually find what thereal hardware is so I can start to identify alternative firmares to us

Try these two threads:
[Q] Android and Kinect array microphone is a similar query. Unfortunately there are no answers in the thread at the moment, but doesn't hurt to ask in case the poster or someone else comes across it.
Android and Kinect has a bit more potential and additional search pointers at least.

I would like some help on how to turn a regular PC that contains a XP Pro into and ANDROID and connect to a Touch SCREEN monitor that is connected via regular serial port.
I have done a bit research, it seems like its possible to install an Android into a regular pc, but How do I get the drivers to work with the Touch SCREEN?
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I am just trying to reuse some old components for a project I am doing.
The monitor is NEC model LCD1560V Serial 49607632YA.
ANY HELP OR DIRECTION is very much appreciated.
