hey
i dont have market in my country and i cant download apps from it so if any one is kind enough to bring me world of warcraft armory and auction hous apps from there and some themes if you can ill be gr8full.

Search the Market for "Market Enabler". You have to have root.

[Q] maps app wont update

hey guys, as title says, wont update. i got my sensation from expansys-usa but not sure it is a us model as i had to install morelocale2 app for us english. i live in the Bahamas and as you know the phone comes with google maps installed but if i go to the market it says this item cannot be installed in your device's country. but i can use the app thats there and it works fine. what is the issue ?

Same problem here in Kenya - if you get an old Android with an ancient version of Maps you can't upgrade because of device country! At least the version on the Sensation is not too old!
Only way out is when we finally get root then we can use Market Enabler or Market Access to spoof another country and download. That's what I used to do with my Nexus One.
With root you can even use - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007132 that modified maps.apk and get navigation also!

Just noted my first Maps update via appbrain and of course I can not find it in the market due to regional restrictions. What a joke. Gimme root + Market Access / Enabler please sooooooon HTC or devs

i need a google play unlocker [SOLVED]

Hello ppl sorry if my post is not good but i cant find the solution.im in greece and i need an app only available in the us google market.i have the old version cant download the new one.market unlockers dont work on new google play and vpn didnt work.i tryed a google play mod app didnt work.is there any unlockers that work now or at least if someone is in us i want the .aok file of this app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinger.ppa Pinger: Text Free + Call Free thank you
update:work with a vpn on flight mode too.no need to fake provider

SOLVED.market unlocker pro and vpn...first i went on application and cleared google play data..then i faked my provider with market unlocker and after that i started the vpn connected to an usa server.i got the full google play store like that .downloaded what i wanted.

[Guide] Unlock USA Play Store Easily *Root*

Hy guyz;
I am telling u a trick to unlock play store just in 2minutes...
Requirements:
1) Rooted Android phone
2) Market Enabler App
3) Droid VPN
Procedure:
1) Install Market Enabler From play store
2) Install Droid VPN from play store
3) First open market enabler and choose any Network ....As a example take T-Mobile and Click fake this provider; then exit this app
4)Open DroidVPN and Signup! and Connect With any USA server; this will fool google that u are using this from usa
5) Now go to Settings>Location & security> untick the option (use wireless networks)
6) Open Play store and u will be greeted with USA play store....

Just tested it and its a nogo

But it works easily with those whose gmail accounts are not locked to a specific country !

Method Not working
Two things:
1) This is pretty much the same method lots of us used before Google changed something that locked our main account to one, non-USA, country. This method required the tunnelling of your network traffic to get an USA located IP address, usually combined with a USA SIM card or, using MarketEnabler (or similar functionality app) to make the phone/tablet believe you had an USA operator SIM card.
For the former (ip address) part, I used TOR/ Orbot app on my rooted Nexus devices.
2) I just did exactly as you described WITH the apps you state as required and it is a no-go. It didn't work, the behavior is exactly as when I tried it the way I described in point 1 above.
Obviously with new accounts or those that have never had CC info or country info this may work but, this is not what deal want. We need it to work with our main Android accounts wherever we are.
My 2 cents

Or if u want to unlock another way is to use a USA gmail account :thumbup:

So, am I the only one that has a US credit card attached to my account, but can still jump between markets?

i found the easier way root or no root, just download simple vpn like tor orbot or avast vpn, run it set to US, force stop google play store, next clear data n cache for both google play store n google play service. then open the play store. there, u got the US google play store until u stop the vpn or reboot your device

if your country doesn't support the play store u should change your ip via VPN/proxy + installing MARKET UNLOCKER
but if it's supported there then the market unlocker will do the trick.

I just enabled my market for tablets and I want all the applications will appear in play store and samsung market.
