Got this message last night out of no where when opening up the marketplace upgraded to perception 10.2 still having the issue anyone have a fix for this or the latest market apk.... thanks

Did u try posting this question in the thread pertaining to the ROM? That might give u quicker answers.
Did you restore your Market ID after flashing the ROM?

Many people having the same issue including myself.
Hurray! My market is finally fixed. I flashed back to stock, rooted phone, used adb to delete the following from /system/app:
DownLoadProvider.apk
FactoryTest.apk
MarketUpdater.apk
SecDownloadProvider.apk
Vending.apk
Then reflashed stock ROM again, loaded up Serendipity ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=900568
And now market works. I am not sure if all of this is necessary but worked for me.
i flashed back to stock and installed darkys 8.1 rom and my market was fixed too, really weird how that fixed it, but ill take it. lol
How soon do you think it will be before Skype with Video gets ported over to the EVO? The Nexus S guys already got it...

I think its as easy as tricking the system into beliving we have a nexus s just as it was for others when the netflix released for only certain htc devices.
If we could just get the nexus s build.prop and change our device name to what theres is i think it would work. anyone have a friend with a rooted nexus s and rootexplorer installed to check it out and post the device name ???

I'm no expert but I do not think it is that easy. If it was it would have been done back when the one for the thunderbolt came out. There is already a thread for it HERE (not Evo specific). If you look at the last page or 2 it is referencing the one that was just released.
Looks like someone confirmed this works on the evo. I did try making a call myself but the other person didn't answer so I cannot confirm it works 100% but it appeared to work fine.

This is working on my EVO. Someone posted a patched APK. I think in the Nexus S forums. Anyhow, works on EVO Shift, S, S2 etc.
I never made an actual video chat but the window loaded up and video was showing via the front cam.
Try it out...
I tried this but the other person couldnt see my video. I could see ny video on my screen but when they enabled their video, mine went black and they couldn't see me.

I can comfirm this patched apk works with video !! I have been waiting for this a long time !!
in the android market, download a file manager and then extract it to a folder on your android phone... and then the apk will show up and hen install it.

skype2_0_45.rar worked for me. One thing though is that until I updated my Mac client to the dreaded 5.1 (user interface fail) from 2.8, video was not working -- when the call started, the video button on the Mac side would actually get grayed out. 5.1 works just fine. Makes me wonder what version is required on the Windows side to be compatible with the Android client.

That doesn't help. The issue is that when I try to download attachments via XDA from my stock browser on my Xoom or Evo it won't download successfully. The download gets to 100% and says unsuccessful.
For some strange reason it does let me down .apk's successfully.
Force close on Evo 4G.. "The application Skype (process com.skype.raider) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Having issues with video calling - my front camera is not picking up any video. Tried lowering the quality and connecting 4G,Wif,3G all with no success - it's just a black screen on my end - and the spinning circle on the far end.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I seem to be haveing the same problem as gqstatus0685. The zip seems to be empty cannot extract anything from it... running latest stock odexed sense rom likely user error will keep working on it. let me know if anyone has any solutions..

Just navigate to the file with Astro or File Manager and click on it. Make sure you have "Allow install from unknown sources" checked (Settings >> Applications >>). Should install after a double click.

I wonder if Cyanogen is causing my error?
EDIT: Flashed King's 7.3 - works great... Gonna try a few other ROMs to see what happens. At the moment Cyanogenmod's 7 - "update-cm-7.0.3.1-Supersonic" does not allow my video to go through. Will update with further testing.
Im still having chipmunk audio on the Netflix apk that was released a couple months back..... any help plz :'(

Have you tried the search button? There is, like, 3 threads that address that...
Did you edit the prop.build? use root explorer to change the model to htc_vision and manufacturer to htc, save the prop.build(it will create a backup)... Reboot phone... And finally install the latest version of netflix... That last step is important... Do not have netflix installed untill the last step.

Hi I'm looking to side load the updated apk for CBS fantasy baseball. I have version 1.0.
They put out an update that corrected live scoring (unlocked it) and team pages... if this now works you have version 1.1 and I would like that apk file.
I emailed developer who wouldn't send me APk, told me to uninstall and reinstall to get update but market now says my device isn't compatible. I originally downloaded this from the market, go figure. Running Calkulins E4GT 2 FD02 w/FD05 modem (ics 4.0.3)

Howdy guys. Been creeping around here for a while, finally made an account. Then realized the post restriction when I was having an issue with a ROM so I figured I'd start here.
Love the site, great info here. I've rooted my HTC Rezound and as of last night my Motorola Xoom with info from the forums here.
Thing is I'm running Team EOS 4 nightlys on my Xoom and everytime I open Google Search (Now) it just closes. Can't post about it on the thread in the development forums so I figured I'd throw it in this post to see if anyone could help.

you might want to try flashing a different gapps zip. I am running CM ROM and have found the goomanager app to be helpful in finding the right gapps package to download for the ROM I have flashed.

So I used goo manager to download the latest gapps. Went into CWM, flashed it. Rebooted, it went through the "optimizing android" stuff. Then I get the error "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." I hit the OK button but it just keeps returning over and over and over.
Answer no to the newest and you'll be able to download other packages. Look for the one from 3/1/2013. I've had better luck with that version.

Yeah I tried that already. I don't get the error anymore but whenever I open Google Search it just closes automatically again.
