Just wondering what everyones thoughts were on 10 inch tablets at the moment with a strong development scene. Galaxy tab 10.1 one of the strongest? Haven't done a lot of research yet on what tablet im going to buy but dont want to buy it and then the development go stale really quickly. Cheers.
I've got the Samsung Galaxy 8.9, the smaller version of the 10.1. Both tabs are sexy beasts. There should be lots of development still going on for it, especially when they release ICS for it later this year. And you can pick one up on ebay right now for $369 if you hurry.

You can pick up the tab 8.9" for £279 on PC world website or a Moto Xoom 10.1" with extra 16GB Memory and sdcard slot for same price.

I have a Samsung Captivate Glide (Bought it the first day it came out woot!)
Unfortunately, It's a very under developed device and I don't use the keyboard as much as I initially figured I would.
So I'm back in the market for a new android device. Preferably one with a strong developer community. ICS roms already running would be a big plus. I use the front camera a lot so thats a requirement.
Something with the best specs possible. I'm on AT&T so it'll need to be compatible with their network.

In my opinion, the Galaxy Nexus is the best android smartphone out there. It as hd screen, ICS and it is strongly supported device by the community. And of course vanilla android (my favorite). If you wait until (i guess) Q3 2012 Samsung Galaxy SIII will be released and it will have great specs. And if you like touchwiz on top of ICS (see Galaxy S2 test rom for details) and the "Samsung ecosystem" (Game, Social,Music and Reader hubs)
Now it's up to you!
Prolly best to wait awhile longer until the better phones get released
the only phones worth getting now IMO is the Galaxy Nexus or HTC One S
and personally, ill go for the One S! xD
specs-wise, it's the best phone in the market, again IMO hahaha

I think it all depends on what type of things you do with your daily phone.
The Galaxy Note is definitely good if you do a lot of documentation reading since the screen is large but small enough to fit in your pocket.
But the One X sports the quadcore processor that will definitely keep up with multitasking/games. The battery may be an issues though. For the processor and screen it looks to be a good battery life, but 12 hours of "normal use" as Engadget says isn't really helpful since no one is going to pay to get a quad core and use it normally.

I'm looking for the best 10" tablet for the $.
I left my GTAB on the roof of my car and drove off, it hung n for a block, unfortunately I was 5 miles away when I realized it.
The frame as 100% intact, the screen ...well that's not doing so well.
I know someone is giong to suggest fixing this one, and yes im sure I can get a new screen from amazon fro $100 (a guess), but its time. Im using an NC w/ ICS for the moment, but need a bigger screen.
The GTAB when I bought it was $200- $250 and I REALLY cant justify much more than that. I know in the early days a lot of guys were buying off Alibaba, adn I get an update from them weekly, just wondering if anyone has bought from them recently.
Looking forward to some solid recommendations

Hey everyone, for the past couple of days I've been searching around and comparing these two tablets to find out their differences due to the fact that I've been offered a tab s2 in exchange for my nexus 9; I'm not sure whether it is a good idea to exchange them or not as both have their advantages and flaws with nexus 9 processor being significantly better. So I'd like to hear from the experts and variety of opinions in whether I should make this decision or not.

For information I used the nexus 9 for pretty much everything from videos to gaming and of course for reading pdfs and other documents etc. My only problem with it is the lack of space as I bought 16gb version.
As for tab s2, it's benchmark is awful with the nexus 9 having a significant lead but I'm loving the larger display, more storage and better screen. So I'm not sure if I should or not someone please shed me some light Dx
I have been always a nexus owner, owning the previous nexus 7, it's my first time switching to samsung and I don't know much about it.

So I'm in the market for a new phone and these two are the contenders I'm looking at, I do not have 900 to spend on the latest and greatest nor do I need it. And I would like to stick with samsung as they have always treated me well . anyways, I'm looking at the note 8 and 9, which should I buy? A family member has a note 8, and bought it when they were first released ,and has had no issues. So I'm slightly leaning towards that. I'm looking for reliability mainly . And I like the size of the notes and the S pen is a big thing for me. Just held up on which one is more reliable.
I had the Note 9 awhile ago and like it, but have upgraded over the years to newer devices. I think both the 8 & 9 are reliable, but check their XDA forums sections for the latest info...
