Hello, to everyone !
This is bootanimation like LCARS from Star Trek
I know that it works on FeraLab ROM, but probably it will work for all.
I was searching for some nice bootanimation for my Xperia X10, because I didn't like FeraLab's (please don't feel offended)...even if it's one of the best ROMs available for our X10s.
So I found this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701574
I like it, so I made a flashable zip for Xperia X10...you can flash it thru xRecovery.
Here is the youtube link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zdeQDXGWyQ
You can download it from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?25i9uo0bjgjp2n2
Ok,
I updated the boot animation and added some new frames.
The EVO 4G singes and the name bellow are removed, and it has been customized for X10.
Hope you like it.

Sweet! Love it, do you know if there are any quality lcars themes?
sent from my X10 running feralab's 11.2 gaming rom, DooMKerneL v6.
Absolutely love it
I no other LCARS themes (((
But I am planing to update this boot animation with more Star Trek feel and maybe to last little bit longer ntil end of boot process.
It would be nice if we could add LCARS font but every font I found makes reading on the device little hard.
Awesome, its very nice, but its over too fast... ;-)

I will make another bootanimation that last longer and maybe some movement like a scanner and similar.
This is just the beginning.
Now if only someone had made a LCARS theme for one of the many lanchers, that would be cool. if i find it, i'll let you know

Ok, I'm pretty knew to this forum, not to mention the Android OS itself. I just had a quick question. I just saw a video on Engadget about the Super Mario Brothers Live Wallpaper. Does anybody know what launcher this guy is using on his EVO? Is this a downloadable Launcher, a custom job or is this an older version of Sense ported to the EVO?
It looks like he is running Sense to me.
I'm trying to find a nice fast phone, i'm looking for an android operating system that has launcher 2 and the eris style widgets can someone point me in the direction of a decent phone xD? i though i'd ask on here...
the images i attached is what i'm trying to find.. :]
Or, second option could someone help me get my eris to look like this :O? it's rooted..
Install CM7 and use launcher pro for the sense widgets.
i had launcher pro on my eris(she has passed on now )and worked beautifully!
desire hd ftw
i'd go for an htc desire hd
I've played around with boot animations on my Droid Incredible but I've never released any. I finally figured out how to make them for the Transformer and thought I'd take a chance and throw them out there for the community. This is my first attempt and I may try and refine these as time goes on as well as add a few more. Please be gentle!
The first is a video of the Enterprise in dry dock with the lights coming on as it's preparing to disembark from Star Trek The Motion Picture.
The second is a full video of the first person perspective scenes from the recent Amazing Spider-Man teaser trailer. I had to run this at 30 frames so the entire video was shown. It's a little fast, but if you want the whole scene, it still looks decent.
The third is a cut version of the above Amazing Spider-Man animation. This one starts about halfway through and runs at 20 frames.
Optimus Prime transformation from the first movie just before the final fight with Megatron
Optimus Prime vs Bonecrusher on the highway from first movie. I had to cut it down quite a bit to get it to play all the way through.
Transformers 3 teaser trailer animation:
LCARS Interface Startup: (Technically I made this for the TF Prime, but it'll work for the Transformer as well. When I get a chance over the next couple of days I'll change some of the text and the "cores" to properly reflect the TF101)
Boot animation for the ASUS Transformer/Transformer Prime using clips from the Sci-Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica, Battle at Ragnar. The Android Cylon at the end was designed by Nana Leonti/Jitter Designs (http://www.redbubble.com/people/athenaleonti).
Sorry about all the glare....
All can be downloaded here:
1. bootanimation-trek.zip
2. bootanimation-spideyfull.zip
3. bootanimation-spideyshort.zip
4. bootanimation-optimus.zip
5. bootanimation-bcrusher.zip
6. bootanimation-prime_eye.zip
7. bootanimation-LCARS-TF101.zip
8. bootanimation-bsg.zip
Simply rename to bootanmiation.zip and put in the appropriate location for your ROM. You add this at your own risk and I am in no way responsible for any damage you might cause to your device.
Sick! Can i make a request for a great action scene from transformers the movie?
I can't promise anything, but if I can get a decent video of the scene then I'll certainly give it a shot.

Very, very cool!!
Too bad you need to be rooted, scares the hell out of me.
You don't need to be rooted: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1101535
Well there ya go. Thanks Stuntdouble....learn something new every day.
These are great! I noticed BSG was your wallpaper, can u make a BSG bootscreen? Like Cylons and Vipers fighting in space? Just kidding! That would be awesome though! I have downloaded bootscreens from the Sega Dreamcast, Sega Saturn and Xbox360 and wanted to try to make those work on the Trnsfrmr.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
I've been trying to find some video that I liked for BSG but haven't found anything with good enough quality. I'm still looking though. I'm also working on a LCARS boot screen from Star Trek. I'm going to have to make a list pretty soon.
Added a new boot animation with Optimus Prime, transformation just before the fight with Megatron from the first movie.
Another new one. Optimus Prime fight with Bonecrusher from first movie. I'm working on some Ironman ones now.
Very Nice

just a request : a bootanimation based on the last teaser of Worlf of Tanks????
I know, i go to edit my signature..
I installed the Optimus Prime one ,but all i get is android on the screen flashing then system is one. any help here please
Did you rename it to just "bootanimation.zip" and place it in the \data\local directory?
Whoever makes this
www .youtube. com/ watch?v=uof3BTFB1GY
with that popular already made Transformer boot at the end instead of the movie text (or removes the 3 and dark side of the moon text) will imo have made the best boot possible.
But it needs to freeze on the text at the end, sick of looping boots.
I installed prime and all I get is the word android flash then my system turns on can anybody. Help?

Is there a way I can take an existing animation I have, for my Evo, and rotate the images to play in landscape as opposed to portrait?

What launchers are you using? I tested on ADW (the Cyanogen stock one) and Go Launcher EX and it works
Ah and what phones as well? I'm testing on an Optimus Dual, but set the screen resolution as 320x480...

samsung galaxy s 2 using launcher pro
I'll install Launcher Pro on mine and let you know what I find out... could you remind me the SGS2 resolution, please?
I can confirm that it's not working on Launcher Pro or QQLauncher, while it is working on GO Launcher EX and ADW with any resolution. Now I have only to undertand why... I'll test something and let you know as soon as I can! Thanks for the feedbacks!
Tiwiz
On Launcher Pro Plus and my resolution is 480x800.

Ah ok, I found the mistake. Apparently, LauncherPro and QQLauncher base themselves on the DPI value of theI got it working on the Dual by changing the layout of the widget so that it scales with the DPIs and now it works. I'll make it work on SGS2 between today and tomorrow. (Delay due to work time ). If you get to any other device onto which is not working, let me know the device and I'll fix it

Thanks for making this! The thickness of the lines making up the box are a bit too thick. It should be more like 2px wide as opposed to the 5px or so you have now. Otherwise it is awesome!
Oh yeah, it also should not go all the way to the screen edges. There should be a gap on each side.

I made this image with desktop visualizer if you would like to use it. It is pretty much pixel perfect (well as close as you can get considering it is scaling from 1280x720 to 800x480).
I had to cut out the mic icon so it has a bit of dark line around it still. I am trying to find a vector to use. Might have to draw it from scratch. :/
Here is a better version! (the image is there, it is just invisible cause it is all white on a transparent background)
Today I found an App for that, Do You know its name?
Didn't work on nexus s 4g running latest stable cyanogen mod release with stock adw. I know your working on it so I'll just hold out for the update. Widget looks great.
What is this widget called on the market?
Epic Life, Epic Phone... It all makes sense to me.
Outline of the search bar is too thick and it's not working on my Nexus S.
Hello everyone,
and thanks for the feedbacks! I posted a new version on the market, with a thinner outline and I tested out on SGS2 as well. For the Nexus S... I hope it works, if it doesn't, just post something here and I'll fix it. Looks like Samsung likes to mess around with DPIs, but now I found out the way (I should, at least) and I should be able to fix it for every device you want to
I also inserted a gap on both sides and studying if to put a gap even on the top... what do you think?
Thanks for your future feedback!

Market Link
Just installed it from the market and it looks great. No problems or errors, running CM7 w/ launcher Pro on the MyTouch4G.
Love the Tiwiz App, but when You have adw+ the app "ice cream sandwich (theme)", the search bar looks a bit better. However: Good work!
Please provide landscape support. When you look at it in landscape mode the search widget is very small
Epic Life, Epic Phone... It all makes sense to me.
Finally, a sense live wallpaper app that works on ALL ROM versions and looks perfectly replicated https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tribok.android.livewallpaper.sensy.lite
If you'd like the app and would like to support the developer plus get a nice ICS lwp clone included, check here: https://market.android.com/details?...kLmxpdmV3YWxscGFwZXIuaWNzd2FsbHBhcGVyLnBybyJd
The sense live wallpaper app was an idea I came up with and asked the dev about. We started talking and he decided to make it We just wanted a version that looked exactly like Sense (unlike a few clones that don't look like it or seriously outdated and resource-hungry) that actually worked without the sense framework. So here you are... I don't take any credit for this. It was all "Vectors and Pixels Indiegames". I'm just relaying the message because he is new here on XDA and has minimum posting abilities. Enjoy everyone! And don't forget to support the dev if you like it
Good stuff. I bought it to support the developer as it's really great. I'm probably going to use Mystic Halo still though
Played around for a bit - Wow it's fast and nicely done. Works perfect on m Nexus One. I would't mind seeing some more presets for the default ICS style with darker colours, or variations of blues, etc We need more tight programmers like this!
