I'd like to know what software version you folks have on your UK Sensation XE devices, this only applies to XE's that are running the software that came with phone, or gained through OTA.
HTC seem to think that our XE's hace software version 1.73.401.1, however some of us received OTA's when we bought our phones and we actually run software version 1.73.401.4
Which software version does your XE have?
I won my phone from ThreeUK last week. I haven't got another network sim to try but it seems to be GSM (no mention of Three on the box or on the phone). It's running firmware .4.

Hi,i m installed a original ruu for the xe on my normal sensation and changed the mid
and cid.I get ota updates like a Sensation xe,i nstalled the update.

can somebody give me the official shipped rom from HTC for Sensation XE? i accidentally flashed the sensation rom on my sensation xe and now i cant upgrade to ICS for sensation xe.

What software version was your device on before you changed ROM? Without knowing that it's hard to suggest the one you need.

Im looking for the stock GB RUU for o2 sensation XE, for some reason the shipped rom threads links dont work so im hoping someone has one or can point me in the direction of one.
Ive searched all over for it and none are labelled as XE RUU's and the ones i have seen are not confirmed to be an XE RUU.
I would appreciate the help as o2 are rolling out official ICS updates and i'm going to have to lay off XDA due to work so i wanna be back on stock

forgive me if this has been posted before but when searching ive realise that the sensation xe does not have specific ruu like the original sensation like tmobile uk etc is this true or not
and ive got a htc sensation uk unbranded am i right to assume that the cid would be htc__001 thank you
For sensation XE RUU you need to search for RUU_PYRAMID_LE
