I have the chinese version of the t101
Can I download the WW or US version of the firmware from the asus site and just flash it. Is it possible.

Can anyone tell me how to back my Asus Transformer TF101G to stock FW? I found some How To, but its for TF101, not for 3G model. I actually need WW repacked FW.

Can I change my tablet from one SKU to another? It's now in CN 10.4.2.17, but Google apps do not work; so I'm looking for a way to change it to US or WW.
I found a few posts pointed to method 2 of this thread below, but the last few pages of that thread report that the method has been fixed by Asus.

The answer is really short: NO, you cannot !
Your SKU is JP, US or WW or CN it will stay your original SKU.
From Asus Website - Comment about firmware:
1. Check SW version of your ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG*
2. Download ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG Firmware: V10.4.3.9 Only for WW SKU and Update version of SOP (From “Manual” Item)
※Firmware update cannot do *SKU conversion* and downgrade version.
Wrong SKU may cause update failure, You can only update your SW version on the Same SKU
*How to check SW version of your ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG?
Path: [Settings]-->[About tablet]-->Build number
Example: You should be able to see the build number WW_epad-10.X.X.X_2012xxxx, where “WW” means SKU.

Try one CN SKU on your TF and you will se a new brick :laugh:
Indeed, you can flash a US firmware and WW which are relatively close.
The firmware of my Rom is US origin. But you need to be unlocked and rooted Otherwise that's not possible.
But it's clear, you cannot install a US or WW to JP or CN SKU.
YOU CANNOT !!!

Hello I have a Asus TF101G with CELLCOM rom and 3g is working in Romania with this rom. Photo down ! I want to update to the latest version of android 4.0.3 from asus site WW Rom . I want to know with this stock rom from Asus will 3g still work on my tablet ? Please I don't want to lose my 3g is very important for me... Thank you !
