Hold tight on flashing for a sec. The phone.apk is hidden in app drawer. I am testing a zip to flash on top to fix
Edit: use the Phone_fix.zip in that folder, flash it after the Shifted-Express.zip BEFORE first boot!

thanks hoss, i tried it without the phone_fix.zip earlier and im already impressed, ill be reflashing later with the phone_fix.zip and giving it a real shot shortly. thanks for the work you guys put in.
Got it up and running and love the look of it. I'll be using this as a daily. Thanks for the hard work hope you can fix the lock screen

Idk if its just me but I can't connect to 4g. It just hangs on obtaining ip address from Sprint when I normally get it where I'm at

It worked out of box for me. But before i get a new rom up an running i do a total wipe. First facory reset, then cache, system, and a dalv cache wipe also. I am on x99 kernal though that could also be the kicker.

I do have to say thanks also for getting this working. I do like this rom allot. Sense always has that warm feeling to it with a ton of widgets. Only complaint i have is the res seems a little high.

Define normal...
No, 99% of Captivate owners will never flash anything custom.however a sizeable chunk of XDA flashes several times a month.A minority flash nearly daily.
Shouldn't do any more harm to your battery than normal use.

You will think it affects it insofar as you don't give the new ROM a chance to settle down with a few charge cycles to really evaluate the battery life.

I would use darky when it's flashable through cmw. Don't like Odin to much. I don't even use the computer. Just download the roms through wifi.

I'm on the xda app, so can't efficiently post a link. Just do a diligent search in the captivate threads and you'll run into the info you need. It is reusable.

First off, this is NOT my work. So thank the boys in the razr forums for this which is where I believe it first came from.
This is the latest Razr M camera app. Complete with with face detection. Oooo... Ahhh...
I have tested it on my official CM9 skyrocket build, and the boys in the atrix 2 forums have tested on their unofficial CM10 builds, so it should work for our jelly bean builds as well. Enjoy folks.
EDIT 10/8/12: Apparently the first zippyshare link dropped. So I have it available on my personal dropbox, and it is also available through a link that jyazzie110 provided. Give him a thanks for the mirrors folks. But I'm leaving the initial link up just in case it comes back.

On CM10 nightly, 1080p video recording doesn't work, other than that it seems to work fine, 720p video and picture taking works.
Very nice camera! Works great on AOKP Jellybean.
are the camera shots the same quality as cm10 camera :S?.... im not sure if its me... but they look very grainy...

This just replaced Ucam as my lockscreen go to. Takes very crispy pics, seems to be better than the stock, I prefer the full screen viewfinder look this has and it opens quickly from the lockscreen on AOKP Oct2.

Here's my first theme so be nice
I didn't like the look of the original Swype keyboard and really really missed the look of Sense 4.0 so I decided to theme Swype like that. This is what came of it:

This mod does not include the Swype.apk since it is considered warez and is against XDA policy to redistribute those files. As such, you must currently have Swype installed on your device and flash the .zip in recovery. This will work on TouchWiz and AOSP ROMs and should work on all versions of Swype as long as your device is XHDPI. More resolutions and colors will be supported in the future.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reboot into recovery
Flash swype-sense4.zip
Reboot and enjoy
Developers, feel free to add this to your ROM, but let me know first. You don't need a response - just let me know.

Couldn't add the apk because it violates XDA's terms and conditions. The sense 4 room isn't a task I would like to do alone since it would probably take a lot of work and give me a really big headache lol.

You have to have Swype already on your phone then just flash the attached .zip file in recovery

Nah it's not PopStyle. The theme was however inspired by PopStyle and Vicino's themes (mainly apollo) but images are from the Venom ROM theme by fisha
It's in the GalaxyMod ROM. You can extract the files from there.

What is your Swype.apk named as? If it's anything other than "Swype.apk" this will not work. I have a feeling your app is called "com.swype.nuance.apk" or something like that...

I tried the deodex version over cleanrom 5.51, zero effect. Didnt show up anywhere.

It works fine but the problem is you'll see a sprint hotspot icon in your app drawer and you'll get force closes on your lock screen if you choose to show time and weather.

Idk if this should happen but when u drag the ink, it fills up the screen fast (sorry, tried many attempts to capture it, but its hard)

Yea that's another issue where the whole screen turns the same color as the ink effect for a millisecond.
EDIT: Do you also have the sprint hotspot app?

TWRP is a little glitchy when using the back button - but if you press the power button, it comes back (back button works)

So I did a clean flash, rebooted and everything worked fine. I changed the dpi, rebooted, and soft brick. I'm back to beta 3 for now. Just wondering if any one has this problem too.

Then you're using the wrong recovery. Look in the 1-stop Sticky and you'll find the correct recoveries (either CWM or TWRP) to use for any and all 4.3 roms. Then you'll be able to reboot, backup, restore, whatever you're wanting to do. I personally like TWRP so I just downloaded it using the goo app. Good luck to you!

Your not understanding what I said. When I did a clean flash, everything went fine. Rebooted, everything fine. Although when I changed the dpi, it soft bricked when I rebooted.

You are flashing with the wrong recovery. Pretty simple really. Get the right recovery and try again.

Sorry guys my time is limited so people that don't follow instructions will be ignored by me. If and when you are on stock setup with correct recovery, addons on whatever and provide clear instructions on reproducing problems and logs. Else its he said she said and that's worthless 90% of the time.

Okay I fixed it. For some reason it worked this time and I didn't change the recovery. Thanks anyway though.

I just wanted to report a minor issue. When I receive a sms and begin typing out a reply, then when a second sms is receieved it will erase what you type out. I also experience this on build8 and yes I did a full system cache delvik wipe
The other issues i had i think are from trying to import appdata from previous backups.
Already fixed for next build
