This ROM is definitely different and stable. No lags so far. Loving the LWP from Xperia. Transparency is an added advantage.

ICS/Jellybean for Micromax A52
Any progress on ICS/JellyBean rom for Micromax a52 ? (I am asking about actual android v4.0.x or v4.1.x and not any themes.) Is there any way a Gingerbread rom can be converted into an ICS one? Or can't we port ICS rom of any other phone to Micromax a52?
This and this articles show how to port roms of one device to another, but the criteria for selection of roms is not specified, means it's not clear that the roms should be of same android version or same processors or same dimensions etc. Can anybody clear this out?
Guyz, plz come up with a solution or at least show a way for this so that others can also contribute.

HTC Wildfire ROM on mmx a52
Guyz, MMX A52 and htc wildfire both have ARMv6 processors(as said here) and also the same screen resolution (320x240px) . Now, HTC Wildfire being older than A52 has many roms available for flashing. I want to ask if somehow an wildfire rom gets ported to mmx a52 , will it work?

Micromax a52 is not there on mmx official site, not even in the archives. I doubt it is discontinued and they will not release kernel sources. Does it means we will never be able to taste ICS or JB on our beloved Aisha?

Really,to say the truth!..A52 is already discontinued due to release of more advanced mmx devices..and not only a52.. but none of the mmx devices will get the kernal sources as mmx will not release them.. indirectly we can say that..A52 IS DISCONTINUED AND ICS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE unless we get kernal soures .. dont worry.. there will be custom roms for u guys

Dev, is there a way to add accessibility option in micromax a35...it seems it does not come with the option. Status bar apps like super status bar(which needs accessibility turned on) can't be used...please Dev could you look into this issue ??

I tested it too on my device and dint had any hangs but overall good rom.

*you have uninstalled the "browser app" and opera mini can't download anything.
*first of all the opera mini was not working,it was not even opening,so i unistalled it and installed market one.
*market app is very slow(sometimes crashes)
*sound recorder app is not working(restarts itselfs)
*music player app(gone mad.apk) is actually gone mad and not even starts.
*very very slow(frees up more than 120mb but not works)
*i installed "whatsapp" but it hangs too too much.
.
Please can you create a good one rom with browser app because i wont be able to download your new rom without that browser app....opera mini sucks!!

JB apps don't work
Hey , it is superb mod with lot's of excellent tweaks, fluid interface and more but ihave not yet been able to run any jellybean apps i.e. apps which require 4.0 and up . does your rom support jb apps ??

DISABLE ADBLOCK - USE ROOT EXPLORER / ROOT BROWSER Then Go To SYSTEM / ETC and Delete HOSTS then Reboot

- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Install the ROM FIRST
- IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY REBOOT
- AFTER BOOTING UP TO HOMESCREEN GO BACK TO RECOVERY AGAIN

will do when i have time to modify the framework again or you can use GravityBox then use Solid Dark Holo Background... in the meantime i've uploaded the new V2.2 patch please download the patch and flash it again..

im not the creator of Kalawakan V4... its a ported ROM from somewhere i dont know and he only used the name of my ROM.. its a little confusing but its not my work... only Kalawakan V2 and Kalawakan V2.2 are my work... i dont know what's the default font for S5.. do you know the name of the TTF? example is Rosemary.ttf...

im not the creator of Kalawakan V4... its a ported ROM from somewhere i dont know and he only used the name of my ROM.. its a little confusing but its not my work... only Kalawakan V2 and Kalawakan V2.2 are my work... i dont know what's the default font for S5.. do you know the name of the TTF? example is Rosemary.ttf...

I will try finding a patch for this I have already seen on some forum , you might be able to modify it to work on your ROM

that is not default S5 font.. the default font of S5 is Roboto Condensed which is the 1 i used in this ROM.. the one in the screenshot is the Rosemary font.. just search rosemary.ttf and install it using iFont..

My dad used this phone now he is having trouble with this device so i decided to show him some out of the box rom, im on stock rom that comes with the phone, want to try some custom ROMs,.. Have downloaded this rom .. Would need help if anyone can guide me how to flash recovery and do we need to unlock bootlaoder in this device?
Im aware of flashing methods as i flash custom roms on my personal devices ,but just want to be sure about this device ,as this device belongs to dad

well I do have A919 unit since it was released. and it went gaga just this day.
im previously using L919 V2 ZEXAR by ponnex, and i lost my installer. so now im on a hunt for a new ROM.

Good rom but lagging in games
I still use canvas a110.... most of the roms on xda r dead due to dev host not working(I cant download any roms) Ur rom looks r awesome but it laggs a lot in games and after 1-2 days of use... plz suggest me another rom which doesnt have dev host links and is stable or remove those lagging in ur rom
