I have an LG optimus 2x with cm 7.1 running and I realised the gmaps compass mode wasn't working so I flashed this kernel "CMKernel-O2x-5Dec-SensorV20L-Voodoo" and tried to reboot but now it hangs on a black screen after the LG logo. What do I do? I am a stranger when it comes to some of the terms I see so please explain with steps. Thank you.

so i just rooted my lg vortex today, and decieded to get a black status bar, so i used metamorph to do it, and after phone turned off, when i turn it back on, i get stuck at verizon logo, and it starts going through that again and again and again!!! in otherwords,... a bootloop!!! HELP what do i do!??????

O.K where to start I'm a newbie and glad to be a newbie ... I have a lg optimus m690 and I rooted the phone using ginger break.. Anyways yesterday I was down loading the APP clockworks I think ...After downloading it had like 6 steps you can do to flash rom ,re boot rom ,exe.well obviously I did something wrong because all my android will do is stare at me with the LG LOGO..It will NOT turn off, it will do nothing !!! only way for it to do anything is pulling the battery.. I do so i hit power button and boom lg logo back at me staring at me...... that's all it will do ..

Hi, i just flashed this rom onto my phone, and it seemed like it worked. as it booted up, it showed the iho logo, and when to an android boot logo, in which it stopped in the middle of and has been stuck since. every few seconds it goes back to the iho screen, comes back to the splash and stays there. i have tried booting into recovery with no luck. PLEASE HELP!
try flashing a new recovery through your pc and revert to your previous rom

Hey, I know this is late reply but this is for anyone else who may run into this problem with any phone actually. Check out my site mellowdev.net and download Orange Tools, this allows adb commands etc in a very nice UI. You can then reboot into recovery in your situation. PM for more info. Thanks

Hi! I have a AT&T LG G2 D800 unlocked and it is apparently stuck in the LG logo. When you turn on the phone you see the LG logo and the OS boot normally and if you lock the phone and the unlock it the screen goes black and the LG logo disappear. I try to manage the phone via the LG On Screen Phone and restore the factory settings but the problem still the same.
Also i try to do a soft and hard reset but i cant see anything else on the screen than the LG Logo. I dont think that the screen is broken because again...when i turn on or off the phone i saw the LG Logo on the screen
The phone is not rooted and i wasn't trying to install a custom firmware
Do you have any ideas?

Hi,
I own a LG L Fino (D290N) which is stuck in the screen with the LG logo. I unrooted my device days ago, now I restarted it and it didn't seem to boot up fully anymore, just stuck in the LG screen. I already factory-resetted my phone, but its still stuck. And also, everytime I want to go to the download mode it just says "boot certification very" and leads me to black screen till I put my battery in and out.
Hope someone can help me.
