i'm on a sense 3.0 WIP (work in progress)
I'm on Virtuous, I like the bliss ROM but I need Bluetooth for work.

CoreDev V8 is awesome waiting for 8.1 though V8 has a few bugs nothing major though.
I like the 2.1 + 3.0 combo... Every ROM i used with 3.0 had performance issues... I use BinDroid at the moment and it runs smooth as silk.

I'm on Virtuous as well. Smoothest and best Sense3 rom I've used yet. Just may be a keeper!
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
I have tried all the sense 3.0 roms and I have to say that virtuous and Rcmix bliss are both very nice. Rcmix is the smoother of the two and there is no crackling when the weather widget plays the animations. However there is a definite performance degredation when using sense 3.0 or 3.5 as compared to the stock gingerbread rom. Hopefully if we do get 3.0 or higher on our phones we will not see a performance hit.
Sense 3.0 with Android Revolution HD 6.1
I just flashed Android Revolution HD 6.1, coming from an earlier version of ARHD (5.something). 6.1 includes Sense 3.0 and, for me at least, it runs much more smoothly now than it ever did before.
I wanted to thank Mike1986 in the ARHD 6.1 thread, but since I am a new user I will just have to recommend his newest ROM here. It runs very well!
Im RCmix Runny V4 and its the smoothest ROM that I have ever tried. I went to ICS port for couple of times, but the lack of sense brought me back to Runny V4. I have also tried Virtous Unity 2.39 but that had lots of performance issue and the inspire customization were missing.
Hi I have just rooted my phone and I want to know how to install a sense 3.0 or 3.5 ROM. Which ROM is stable and ... The best? Any recommendation? Thx so much
Well done
Read the guides on installing, Endymion is stable and popular

Hey this one looks good also, hyperion HTC sense 3.0 and Android 2.3.5. Is this one good? Lol
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
Endymion IMHO
Sent from my Desire S using XDA App
I personally recommend Hyperion if you are after a stock experience, with tweaks..
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
Both very good roms with top class support. What I did was installed and setup both, took a nandroid backup of each that way you can flick between the two and decided which you prefer.

I'm using Endymion. Very happy with the performance and stability....

Yeah thats the one!
For sense 3.0 or 3.5 itll be worth using hboot 2.00.2002 also, and if you used revolutionary youll want to change from the revolutionary hboot anyway as if you get into problems like bootloops in the future, the revolutionary hboot is harder to overwrite...

What's the difference between sense 3.0 and 3.5? I prefer using the hyperion sense 3.0 but I found that it lag a bit sometime... and its battery sucking!! Omg.... :O any other 3.0 stock Rom and android 2.3.5 with less mod? Like without custom boot animations xD and of cos, less bugs, fast, less battery sucking, best? Lol thank you very much

There are no custom boot animations on Hyperion V2.1, and the base look is completely stock on the last version. The RCTweaks come pre-installed, which can mess with the look of Rosie and the status bar, but you can configure them to behave stock-ish.
Anyway, what do you mean by "less bugs"? To my knowledge, there are no bugs.
One thing, and this should be made a sticky (hear me Ben?):
If you unlocked your phone using HTCDev, you are still S-ON, and the kernel is not being written when you flash the rom. Any rom. So you have to manually flash boot.img from the rom you want using fastboot.
If you try a 3.5 rom and it doesn't even boot, this is the problem.
Cheers

Oh ic, but it seems that it is using my battery much quicker than the stock ROM xd I'm now using endymion and I think its quite good. Beautiful UI love it. However does it use more batt than Hyperion? D: hope it doesn't lol

In my experience Hyperion is marginally better for battery but there is not a huge amount in it, but, Endymion wins in all other areas.
So the best sense 3.5 Rom is endymion?

Is it possible to get the HTC keyboard to run on an AOSP ROM like OpenSensation, or does the keyboard require the Sense framework in order to run?
Sense is required. Like most everything with sense, you can't really disect it.

Because I need everything working, I play games a lot and always use its camera, aokp and cm9 won't do, I'm just making the axiom Rom as slim as possible and would like some aosp goodies like the whole phone and dialer

I don't think it's possible to theme the dialer since the .m10 tools aren't developed for Sens 4.0 yet, yet alone 3.5 fully.

I'm not looking for a themed dialer, the black dragon Rom had it I just didn't want to have to download the whole Rom just to pull that out
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
Is it just the plain AOSP dialer? If so you can pull it out out of CM9 or using Trickdroid's tweak pack to installed it and the AOSP "people" app.

Download trickdroid 6.1
And tweak package.
You will have to extract and rezip if u dl it before torxx fixes it.
When flashing tweak package, I installed all aosp inverted apps and it came with the cm9 aosp dialer.
Try it . I'm using it on sense right now

Viper S 1.0.1 bc it's awesome, I was on OrDroid before this, but I keep wanting to try AOSP/AOKP as it's so much smoother, BUT i lose the sense widgets for data and wifi etc, so I've just stuck with Viper S

I tried a sense 4 ROM but the menu key and the additional options popping up in different positions in different apps really bugged me so I went back to 3.6.

I had radio issues with CM9 and when it finally got fixed the battery life just wasn't that good and there were other issues. I can basically get a full day out of the stock battery on Virtuous and the only issue is sending MMS borks out a little

Im currently running the ViperS 1.0.1, I was using the Energy Rom which was good but the Viper rom is great and I do love Sense 4 I like it more than 3.6.
