Would anyone be interested in making a forum app for a fish keeping forum I am involved in?
I see that a lot of forums have there own tapatalk type app including this one.
please let me know if anyone is interested.
Cheers

Actually after doing some digging am I right in saying that the xda app is an unbrandedversion of tapatalk?

The Xda app is a version of Tapatalk which works only for Xda-Forum. There are a lot of these apps for different forums.
Tapatalk needs a special plugin in the forum to work. If there is no plugin it can't work.
In your situation I would figure out if your forum works with Tapatalk and if it works think about purchasing Tapatalk.
In my eyes it's worth the 2€.

Yeah we have tapatalk. I guess we would just have to party extra for a branded app that only works on that forum.

Hei everyone. I have been using Tapatalk for a while and are quite satisfied with the app. Then again I'm not so satisfied with the search function, in my opinion it should list what I search for and nothing more. I always get a lot of crap I have to scroll thru.
So my question are, how is searching in the Xda-Developer app? What forum app do ppl prefer?

I've tried XDA pro and its pretty good IMO. But I haven't tried tapatalk yet, I'll probly buy sometime in the future.

XDA App is the same as Tapatalk. Just XDA app is exclusive to XDA only and may have some exclusive features to XDA such as a skin.
Tapatalk is universal to any forum.
I bought the Tapatalk Pro app so I could have access to more than just XDA, like Android Central and my Snowboarding forum.

So there is no real difference between Xda app and Tapatalk. Except i can use Tapatalk on more forum's. I guess I'll stick to what I gott.

Mystery solved, thread closed
I'm curious of anyone knows why I can only reply to very few discussions using the Tapatalk app. I'm actually a bit surprised that I was able to post this thread with it. Its only on XDA too. Its not just with Tapatalk though, when I try using the XDA app it does the same thing. Any suggestions?

I would like somebody here to update the xda premium app so it looks, acts and has the improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements of the newest version of the tapatalk app while viewing the xda forum from it, that would be great. tried to do it myself but it would not load the forum so if somebody could do that that would be great thanks in advance

Probably but I don't know much about the xda app.I know it's a branded tapatalk app but I don't know if it's maintained with similar updates.if it hasn't been updated in a few years, for example, there's bound to be some more features and bug fixes than an app based on an older version.you could check out the change logs and feature set in the play store
