Edit: well i didnt flash thru cwr instead i extracted the apk and replaced my orig vending apk and i didnt get transparency but will flash it in the morning

whats happening mate
i know the sgs2 couldnt run version 105 on a unrooted phone but after root it worked . dont know why it did that tho .
I was able to install the app but when I go to run it it FC right away. Also there's no icon image. I tried several times with no luck

Can't get any of them to work on sgs4g, tried pushing them with root explorer, also renamed them. I got nil. Anyone else have any luck?

I was able to get xda and market to work.Put on sd card flashed in cwm,running vb no tweaks just camera mod and scrolling mod.Market works able to buy apps.

The Handle BAR is actually transparent but settles into a solid black bar. I guess the transparency jackd w the screenshots and made them look two-tone. Not the case-earbrain

You would need both root and cwm to be able to flash any rom.
Your best bet is to have the ulcb3 + root + cwm ready on your sdcard for when you manage to get your hands on a pc.

Yes. Currently, on the Infuse, rooting it requires a computer.
There is no other method that I know of. Even SOC on 2.2.1 requires a computer.
That doesn't mean it can't be done. You can take it initiative and start development for it.
