Why is the MIUI thread on development section closed?

I installed the miui rom on my phone last night. I was amazed by the speed of the rom even though its still in alpha stage. And for the very first time, it finally feels like a dual core phone. So why does it say this rom is not allowed in xda?

If it's something he did to his rom in the past, I think xda members should be warned.

it's a matter that should be only between the mods of xda and the dev himself. That's how it is on a lot of other forums. it stops hate mobs/flaming/trolling and unprofessional behavior.

Agreed bro. And its something that people shouldn't discuss. But I.can confirm it was not due to dodgey stuff with his roms mate. So you have nothing to worry about.... Continue to use without worry, he's done well on this port.

It's apparently official but it can't be as MIUI themselves haven't released it for the Sensation yet. This is a new port

Everything is in good shape. I'm using it right now as I type. Just that camera flash doesn't work or its just me. Ummmm I think thats it. Can someone else confirm this? Cuz I can't test it all cus I'm in school

Nice port.
Like I said before, no flash on the camera but the torch works. Otherwise so far so good. Stable and restored all my apps and working fine. Need to organize my sh!t now lol. I don't use launcherpro so I'm stuck moving the stuff around and organizing the apps into folders.
Also the alignment is off a bit as well. You can fix that by using a third party launcher like launcherpro to resize to your liking. For me it's fine.

It's not official, there is a vote going on on FB at the mo on which phone they'll do next. SGS2 is killing it...

Stable CM for Sensation?

Is there one in the offing? I saw some post about ICS experimentals "around the corner." But, I am interested in a stable build. I don't have time anymore to flash nightlies.

The alpha you'll find in development section works as a daily driver.

First, you need nightlies to have a stable.
Secondly, we don't have nightlies yet, and that's gb.
We don't even have a CM9 alpha yet.

We most likely won't get nightlies anytime soon. I've tried multiple times to compile and successfully get it to boot but it just don't work for me haha.
kmobs and the other sensation maintainers are the only ones with the source for it
