Volunteer for University Project

I want a volunteer with a quad core device to run our small app, and send us 3 screenshots of his scores...
We are trying to test multicore/single phones, with multithreaded/single apps..
What do you have to do?
1) Pick up the Matrix benchmark from the "Choose Benchmark" list.
2) Then, choose as num of threads to "2", and "tick" the 3rd option, to run the benchmark.
3) After that, take a screenshot!
..) Repeat process with 4, 8 threads!
If you want to helps us more you can also try the Graphic Bench 1 and Graphic Bench 2.
(you dont need to choose threads num for those! We are checking only frames per second that your Tegra3 can get!)
So, we need 3 or 5 screenshots...
Thank you very much guys! You have a wonderfull phone!
**If you use google+ and instant upload, you can automatically upload your screenshots to G+, and share them with me. You can find my account in about me section in here!
NOTE**: its NOT implemented with an Async Task! So android may thinks several times, that application "doesnt respont"!
Please choose all times wait! Also other benchmarks, where ported wrong, so we dont want them, except the matrix, and the graphic benchs!
Thanks again!!

Sorry bud, the One S is only dual core.
I know.....it's so fast you thought it was quad core

[Q] Off topic but don't want to have another lost thread in some other forum...

I always thought the foums here at XDA were little counter-intuitive at times as far as navigation, but it never really mattered that much.... However, now I am stuck and cannot seem to do something rather simple... I dunno maybe I am tired.... but I thought I would ask so this doesn't become an obstacle.
I am trying to find all of my posts in this forum (HTC One-S). I didn't see an option, so I went to one of the sub-forums (like this one: One S General). Under advanced search, I entered my username in the correct place ("Find posts by..."). The result is 40 or so threads...but each thread has anywhere from 8 to 95 pages. I appreciate the helpful information to the left of each thread stating "you have X posts in this thread".... but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to bring up those posts.
[Also, I now see the widget icon next to Search All Forums on the Main Forum page... maybe I can search individual forums though that.]
But can someone tell me how to do a search which results in a page of only my posts????
Thanks in advance...!
On the advanced search page there is an option that lets you "show results as posts". It will show individual posts instead of threads.
Edit: nevermind they seem to have drastically simplified the advanced search and removed a lot of options. Try going to your profile page and the "Statistics" tab, then click "find all posts by syntropic".
Scroll to the top of the XDA Website where it says Welcome, "_______" <------ your name. Click on your name. Your profile should come up in the "About me" part of your profile. Scroll down toward the middle park of your profile and click on "Statistics". There should be a list that comes up. Click on "Find all posts by ______" (Your name)..
Thread Closed
This is not the place to ask this! Just use the statistics tab in your profile, it will show you all of your posts with a marker on which forum they were posted. You could of even PMed one of the moderation team, we are here to help.

Rank with google results

Hi all!
I need help, because i've a really big doubt.
Can i make a rank with the Google's number of results?
Example:
I search for "Facebook" and i find ex. 200'000 results on google
then i search for "Twitter" and i find ex. 150'000 results
and for "Netlog" and i fine ex. 50'000 results
then i'd like to have a rank as this:
1st Facebook
2nd Twitter
3rd Netlog
I'm not the best in programming and this is too complicated to me.
Thanks everyone who'll help me with this problem

[Q] Antutu Bechmarks search

As title says , how can i search for device in antutu benchmarks database.
Cant find search device option in their website. And in the android application search always returns very few or no results. Even the results show total score only but not individual information about CPU , GPU etc.
Is there any other benchmarking site/app that let you search for any device and shows you information about each part of the device.
Thanks

How to SEARCH on XDA Forum
XDA Forum Rule 1 said:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.

First you must decide what you are looking for. Exactly.
A word, a phrase, an expression, etc you know better.
Now you just need to enter to the section dedicated to search by accessing the link below, and follow few steps to find what you need:

Use search in a specific thread - ROM's, Q&A etc
So, to search in a specific threads, when he has so many posts or pages for a keyword like "overclock" (my example), "build", "release" or a phrase is specified as follows:
Step 1: Enter the desired thread;
Step 2: On that thread right up there in a box that says: "Search this Thread" View attachment 2577079 which has two different buttons near.
The magnifying glass is for Simple Search View attachment 2577074 other is for Complex Search View attachment 2577075.
Step 3: For Simple Search, you just need to type the desired keyword or phrase in that box mentioned on Step 2 (search this thread) and press View attachment 2577074. See foto bellow for more info's :

Step 4: : For Complex Search by an word or phrase and / or user posts in that thread, use button View attachment 2577075. Then type in the new window opened the word/phrase you want and / or user (if you know it obviously) and press "Search".

Use Google search for only XDA specific threads
So search using the Google search engine to bring only results from the XDA forum is pretty simple.
In the Google search box you must enter the word or phrase desired after previously entered this words "xda-developers" before your desired word/s searched.
For more relevant results you cand put the phrase "site: forum.xda-developers.com" after your keyword that you are looking for, and the results are MORE RELEVANT.

I suggest you make a new thread with the new XDA interface. I just came here following the link in your signature.
