Put CWM on ICS TF101 - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Not sure if this has been posted or not, so how would a person that upgraded to ICS put CWM on their TF101? A link to directions would be great. Or directions itself.

If you haven't root you need to do that first with ViperMod
After you have rooted the TF use RecoveryInstaller

You scared me with that question but I had .26 for root and now it says it has .26 so the same build number as before.
Not sure yet what rooted does, but at least I am able to make a screen shot now!

Don't think that Superoneclick will root gingerbread. Dr honks modified gb kernels will auto root and give you cwm.

Nowadays I tend to only check here twice a day. Busy busy days now. =/.
But Chad, to answer your question, if you're gonna root, you might as well try out some of the custom gingerbread roms we have on this forum. There are Audiophile, valhalla and ICBINB. There are differences to all of them so make sure you read up on which you might wanna flash.
Superoneclick can't root our phones on Gingerbread, so you'll need to flash a custom GB kernel as Exodian recommended.
If you want you can follow my GB starter pack guide from step 7 on so you can prepare your phone for having ext4 and a gingerbread rom of your choice without issues.

A question about flashing my phone.

Do I need to root my phone to flash to gingerbread, valhalla, ics or any other stock?

No you don't have to root if you want stock gingerbread. Use Kies mini. We don't have ICS yet. To flash Valhalla you will need to root and a custom kernel. Look at the guide in the first link of my signature.

So, flashing to gingerbread is less risky than rooting and flashing to Valhalla... Can you give me the link for the guide to upgrade to gb?

Then you are out of luck. Most of the files were hosted on megaupload affiliate's and when it went down so did the files.
Make sure your contacts are backed-up on your sdcard/google and upgrade to gingerbread you will be happier.

Why are you keeping yourself stuck on Froyo? You prefer being 3 years behind?
Use the link provided by eollie, its the best out their.
My advice, go to gingerbread as it has better drivers, kernel, signal, and a much bigger application /market support. use the link provided above, Don't forget to Thank eollie

Flashing to Stock OS and recovery.

Hi all,
I'm really sorry to start a thread for this but I couldn't find it anywhere else. I've been having a lot of problems with my Skyrocket and am considering sending it in for warranty repairs if a flash to stock doesn't work. So I have the right OS from sammobile and I found the appropriate recovery tool on here. Here's the catch, neither CWM nor the stock tool will flash to the stock OS. It'll revert back to CNM 10 AND Liquid'd 4.1.2 without an issue, but I can not get the stock ROM running. Please help, I'd be so ridiculously grateful.
Check out the developer stickies by Vincom works wonders and when I FlAsH to stick I use Odin and use stock 35th with all the stuff or I use ics leaked to start off from
